This document provides instructions for image adjustments on a picture downloaded from the class blog. Students are told to select the eye pupil using a selection tool, copy the iris to a new layer, and make copies of that new layer. Students are then asked to experiment with brightness/contrast, levels, and hue/saturation colorize adjustments on each copy layer to practice image adjustments.

Check the instructions on the slides under lesson 7

3. PART 2
Go to the class blog and download the Picture under lesson 8.
Select the eye pupil using whatever tool you wish.
Copy the iris to a new layer using CTRL+J
Right click the layer and make a few copies of it.
Go to Image Adjustments and experiment on each of the new layers with the
following options:
 Brightness/Contrast
 Levels
 Hue/Saturation – click colorize
