This document discusses the design and performance analysis of a three-phase induction motor using ANSYS RMxprt software. It describes the design process including selection of materials, geometry details of the stator and rotor, winding arrangement, and performance characteristics under rated load, no-load, and breakdown conditions. The software was used to generate 2D and 3D geometries of the motor and evaluate parameters such as efficiency, power factor, torque, and losses. The summary highlights that ANSYS RMxprt enables fast and cost-effective design of induction motors by facilitating analytical calculations, material selection, and performance analysis prior to manufacturing.
A flywheel is a mechanical device with a significant moment of inertia used as a storage device for
rotational energy. Flywheels resist changes in their rotational speed, which helps steady the rotation of the shaft
when a fluctuating torque is exerted on it by its power source such as a piston-based engine, such as a piston pump,
is placed on it. The flywheel are different types such as solid disk, Spoke type, rim type, tapered type. In solid disk
flywheel type it is provided with hub and disk. Solid disk flywheels are less capable of storing energy. Then spoke
type flywheel are capable of storing more energy with greater moment of inertia than any other type of flywheel.
In this work solid disk, spoke type flywheel are designed by using CATIA software. The spoke type flywheel is
modeled with 6 spokes and 5 spokes with and without taper. Structural analysis and Modal analysis by using
ANSYS software is done to determine the stresses and frequencies respectively by considering the different
materials Cast iron, Aluminum Alloy 6061 & S-glass materials. From the above analysis, the better material for
the flywheel is determined.

Low cost Real Time Centralized Speed Control of DC Motor Using Lab View -NI U...IJPEDS-IAES
DC motors are an outstanding portion of apparatus used in automotive and automation industrial applications requiring variable speed and load characteristics, due to its ease of controllability. Creating an interface control system for multi DC motor drive operations with centralized speed control, from small-scale models to large industrial applications is in much demand. By using Lab VIEW (laboratory virtual instrument engineering workbench) as the motor controller, we can control a DC motor for multiple purposes using single software environment. The aim of this paper is to propose the centralized speed control of DC motor using Lab VIEW. Here, Lab VIEW is used for simulating the motor, whereas the input armature voltage of the DC motor is controlled using a virtual Knob in Lab VIEW software. The hardware part of the system (DC motor) and the software (in personal computer) are interfaced using a data acquisition card (DAQ) -Model PCI- 6024E. The voltage and Speed response is obtained using LABVIEW software. Using this software, the speed of a group of motors can be controlled from different locations using remote telemetry. The proposed work also focuses on controlling the speed of the individual DC motor using PWM scheme (Duty cycle based Square wave generation) and DAQ. With the help of the DAQ along with Lab VIEW front panel window, the DC motor speed and directions can be changed easily in remote way. In order to test the proposed system the laboratory model for an80W DC motor group (multi drive) is developed for different angular displacements and directions of the motor. The simulation model and experimental results conforms the advantages and robustness of the proposed centralized speed control.

In recent years, permanent magnet machines have become a common choice
in many industrial applications. Therefore, several structures have been
developed, and the choice of a topology designed for a specified application
requires the knowledge of the advantages and disadvantages of different
topologies. The present work deals with the evaluation of the performances
of different radial flux surface-mounted permanent magnet motors designed
for an electric vehicle motor application. The objective of this survey is to
show the effect of the rotor position (inner or outer) and the magnets
segmentation on the machine output torque and iron losses. In this context,
four machines with: (i) inner rotor, (ii) inner rotor segmented magnets, (iii)
outer rotor and (iv) outer rotor segmented magnets have been designed and
studied. All these machines have the same geometrical dimensions and
current loading. The main idea is to develop a machine with smoothness
torque, lower torque ondulation, lower iron losses, and which is mechanically
robust. Firstly, the output torque of the different structure is computed.
Secondly, by means of an improved analytical model coupled with 2
dimensional transient finite element analysis (FEA), the machines iron losses
are predicted.

A New Windings Design of 24 Slot Capacitor-Start Capacitor-Run Induction Motor IJECEIAES
The conventional method of a single phase induction motor windings design usually constructed the main and auxiliary windings in both slot. So, there was a complicated winding design if that compare to the three-phase induction motor. Because of that, this study was aimed to design a new windings design of a single phase induction motor that construction like a three-phase induction motor. This study was focused to design a 24 slot capacitor-start capacitor-run induction motor. The windings in the motor are divided in 3 group like a three-phase induction motor. The two windings act as a main windings and the other winding act as auxiliary winding. The current rating of the winding of the proposed single-phase induction motor was 2.74A. The performances of the proposed method were compared with the performances of a three-phase induction motor that had the same current rating. The motor used as a comparator was a three-phase induction of 380/220V, 2.74/4.7A, Y/Δ, cage rotor, 4 poles, 1.5 HP, 1400 RPM, 50Hz. The result of this study showed that the proposed design of single phase induction motor could be operated with better performances than the threephase comparator induction motor‟s.
Modeling and Simulation of Three Phase Induction Machine Using Written Pole T...IOSRJEEE
Three phase induction motors are employed in almost all the industries because of its simple construction and easy operation. Efficiency of the induction motor is affected by its fixed losses and variable losses which mainly depend on the input supply voltage and load current respectively. An attempt is made to minimize the iron losses by using the permanent magnet ferrite. A new Three Phase Induction Motor Using Written Pole Technology is proposed in this paper in which stator consists of two three phase windings accommodated in the same stator core and rotor is used as squirrel cage rotor with ferrite material on its periphery. Shaft loads are categorized as low, medium and high, Stator coils are energized through a controller based on the load demand. In this study, it is suggested to operate the machine with flat efficiency characteristics, irrespective of shaft load. When compared to conventional induction motor, the motor efficiency and power factor are improved. Another approach of this machine is that the ferrite layer on the rotor periphery will reduce the motor losses which results in improving the motor efficiency. In this motor, one windings (main winding) is designed for the 238 volt ac voltage while the second winding (exciter winding) is designed for 8 volt high frequency ac voltage. Experimental result ensures the considerable increase in the efficiency and power factor. The aim of this paper is to analyze and simulate performance of a 1Hp three phase induction motor using written pole technology using the well known Park’s transformation. A three phase squirrel cage machine is reconfigured and modeled into a two three phase stator winding accommodate in same stator core of the same volume as the three phase machine. Different tests are carried out on the novel machine to determine machine parameters. Simulation results, that predicts the dynamic performance of the machine using ANSYS, at start up are presented and discussed.
Modelling and Analysis of Induction Motor using LabVIEWIJPEDS-IAES
Induction motor characteristics became complex to study, after the invention of drives where the motor incorporated with power electronic switches such as thyristor, diodes, GTO, and MOSFET. Induction motor characteristics can be studied and modelled with software such as Finite Element Analysis and Laboratory Virtual Instrument Engineering Workbench. Finite Element Analysis is used to study and model the motor might be complex and the time taken to compute was unreliable. In this paper induction motor was modeled with the help of LabVIEW software this allows us to model and simulate the motor in order to analyze the performance. The induction motor modelled here was based on the mathematical equations.
This paper presents a design and development of 8/6 switched reluctance motor for small electric vehicle using analytical method. The absent of permanent magnet, inherent fault tolerance capabilities, simple and robust construction make this motor become more attractive for small electric vehicle application such as electric scooter and go-kart. The switched reluctance motor is modelled using analytical formula in designing process. Later, the designed model is analyzed using ANSYS RMxprt software. In order to achieve 5kW power rating and to match with the design requirement, the switched reluctance motor model has been analyzed using RMxprt tools for the preliminary parameters design process. This tools is able to predict the output performance of motor in term of speed, flux linkage characteristic, output torque and efficiency.

CFD Simulation of By-pass Flow in a HRSG module by R&R Consult.pptxR&R Consult
CFD analysis is incredibly effective at solving mysteries and improving the performance of complex systems!
Here's a great example: At a large natural gas-fired power plant, where they use waste heat to generate steam and energy, they were puzzled that their boiler wasn't producing as much steam as expected.
R&R and Tetra Engineering Group Inc. were asked to solve the issue with reduced steam production.
An inspection had shown that a significant amount of hot flue gas was bypassing the boiler tubes, where the heat was supposed to be transferred.
R&R Consult conducted a CFD analysis, which revealed that 6.3% of the flue gas was bypassing the boiler tubes without transferring heat. The analysis also showed that the flue gas was instead being directed along the sides of the boiler and between the modules that were supposed to capture the heat. This was the cause of the reduced performance.
Based on our results, Tetra Engineering installed covering plates to reduce the bypass flow. This improved the boiler's performance and increased electricity production.
It is always satisfying when we can help solve complex challenges like this. Do your systems also need a check-up or optimization? Give us a call!

Courier management system project report.pdfKamal Acharya
It is now-a-days very important for the people to send or receive articles like imported furniture, electronic items, gifts, business goods and the like. People depend vastly on different transport systems which mostly use the manual way of receiving and delivering the articles. There is no way to track the articles till they are received and there is no way to let the customer know what happened in transit, once he booked some articles. In such a situation, we need a system which completely computerizes the cargo activities including time to time tracking of the articles sent. This need is fulfilled by Courier Management System software which is online software for the cargo management people that enables them to receive the goods from a source and send them to a required destination and track their status from time to time.

Cosmetic shop management system project report.pdfKamal Acharya
Buying new cosmetic products is difficult. It can even be scary for those who have sensitive skin and are prone to skin trouble. The information needed to alleviate this problem is on the back of each product, but it's thought to interpret those ingredient lists unless you have a background in chemistry.
Instead of buying and hoping for the best, we can use data science to help us predict which products may be good fits for us. It includes various function programs to do the above mentioned tasks.
Data file handling has been effectively used in the program.
The automated cosmetic shop management system should deal with the automation of general workflow and administration process of the shop. The main processes of the system focus on customer's request where the system is able to search the most appropriate products and deliver it to the customers. It should help the employees to quickly identify the list of cosmetic product that have reached the minimum quantity and also keep a track of expired date for each cosmetic product. It should help the employees to find the rack number in which the product is placed. It is also Faster and more efficient way.

Immunizing Image Classifiers Against Localized Adversary Attacksgerogepatton
This paper addresses the vulnerability of deep learning models, particularly convolutional neural networks
(CNN)s, to adversarial attacks and presents a proactive training technique designed to counter them. We
introduce a novel volumization algorithm, which transforms 2D images into 3D volumetric representations.
When combined with 3D convolution and deep curriculum learning optimization (CLO), itsignificantly improves
the immunity of models against localized universal attacks by up to 40%. We evaluate our proposed approach
using contemporary CNN architectures and the modified Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR-10
and CIFAR-100) and ImageNet Large Scale Visual Recognition Challenge (ILSVRC12) datasets, showcasing
accuracy improvements over previous techniques. The results indicate that the combination of the volumetric
input and curriculum learning holds significant promise for mitigating adversarial attacks without necessitating
adversary training.
