The study evaluates the impact of furrow irrigated raised bed (FIRB) planting and nitrogen fertilization on the growth, yield, nutrient uptake, and quality of hybrid maize (Zea mays L.) conducted over two years. Results showed that FIRB techniques significantly improved plant height, dry matter yield, grain yield, and nutritional quality compared to conventional methods, with the best results achieved at a nitrogen level of 150 kg/ha. The findings suggest that adopting FIRB planting combined with appropriate irrigation practices and nitrogen application enhances maize productivity while conserving water resources.
