Galaxy Chocolate
Galaxy chocolate‟s latest ad features the famous Audrey
Hepburn, who was born in 1929 and who passed away
over two decades ago.

Through computer generated imagery, the company was
able to digitally resurrect Ms. Hepburn and promote the
brand‟s message of luxury and elegance (the ad went
ahead after Hepburn‟s sons agreed to the use of her
image).

Galaxy‟s one-minute spot features Hepburn, cobbled
together from old footage and photographs, as she
ditches her bus alongside the Amalfi coast and hops in
the back of a nearby convertible. “Why have cotton when
you can have silk?” the ad queries.

The ad exploits a new technology which allows them to
capitalize on Hepburn‟s quintessential elegance and
timelessness, linking her to those same qualities in a
chocolate bar.

The Happy Egg Company

In the run up to Easter, the Happy Egg Company (and
their agency, Hypernaked) developed this lovely
Chickcam campaign, showing again that you don't need
a big budget to have success in the digital space.

The Happy Egg Chickcam used a Google+ Hangout On
Air & YouTube livestreaming over the course of four days
to show the hatching of 17 eggs into cute, fluffy chicks.

A livestream of eggs waiting to hatch would've been as
exciting as watching grass grow, so they also included a
slate of activities throughout the four days to keep
viewers watching. .

The first five people to email the competition received a
bundle of Happy Eggs goodie.

Missing Children

In Argentina, an average of three children get lost every
day.
To highlight the lack of involvement the local people take
in combating this problem, missing children ran a stunt
at Velez stadium, located in Buenos Aires.

They handed out a quite particular flyer with pictures of
missing people on them and waited for a reaction that
never came.

Dogs this Smart Deserve a Home
SPCA NZ
An attention-grabbing advertising campaign featuring dogs
actually driving cars has revved up momentum for the
adoption of shelter dogs in New Zealand.

After viewing the performance, people were directed to
the Auckland SPCA website or to their local SPCA location
to learn more about the dogs available for adoption. To
generate buzz for the astonishing event, training videos
that showed the dogs learning how to brake, turn the
steering wheel, shift gears, and accelerate were posted
online and the videos quickly went viral.

As a result, the shelter‟s whole stock of puppies was
adopted within only a few weeks of the ad campaign.

As part of its „Making Memories Last” campaign, HP
created a massive blow up ball for festival goers to play
around with.

The coolest thing is that the ball was fitted with a HD
camera and WiFi hub allowing the ball to take photos
and videos of the audience.

These would then be streamed to both the festival stage
and onto the festival‟s Facebook page, where people
could find and tag themselves, or their friends if they
weren‟t at the event.

After printing over 2,000 photos, the live camera feed
reached over three million people.

  • 3. Audrey Hepburn digitally resurrected Galaxy Chocolate Galaxy chocolate‟s latest ad features the famous Audrey Hepburn, who was born in 1929 and who passed away over two decades ago. Through computer generated imagery, the company was able to digitally resurrect Ms. Hepburn and promote the brand‟s message of luxury and elegance (the ad went ahead after Hepburn‟s sons agreed to the use of her image). Galaxy‟s one-minute spot features Hepburn, cobbled together from old footage and photographs, as she ditches her bus alongside the Amalfi coast and hops in the back of a nearby convertible. “Why have cotton when you can have silk?” the ad queries. The ad exploits a new technology which allows them to capitalize on Hepburn‟s quintessential elegance and timelessness, linking her to those same qualities in a chocolate bar.

Chick Cam The Happy Egg Company In the run up to Easter, the Happy Egg Company (and their agency, Hypernaked) developed this lovely Chickcam campaign, showing again that you don't need a big budget to have success in the digital space. The Happy Egg Chickcam used a Google+ Hangout On Air & YouTube livestreaming over the course of four days to show the hatching of 17 eggs into cute, fluffy chicks. A livestream of eggs waiting to hatch would've been as exciting as watching grass grow, so they also included a slate of activities throughout the four days to keep viewers watching. . The first five people to email the competition received a bundle of Happy Eggs goodie.
  • 5. The Invisible Flyer Missing Children In Argentina, an average of three children get lost every day. To highlight the lack of involvement the local people take in combating this problem, missing children ran a stunt at Velez stadium, located in Buenos Aires. They handed out a quite particular flyer with pictures of missing people on them and waited for a reaction that never came. Would you have noticed?
  • 6. Dogs this Smart Deserve a Home SPCA NZ An attention-grabbing advertising campaign featuring dogs actually driving cars has revved up momentum for the adoption of shelter dogs in New Zealand. After viewing the performance, people were directed to the Auckland SPCA website or to their local SPCA location to learn more about the dogs available for adoption. To generate buzz for the astonishing event, training videos that showed the dogs learning how to brake, turn the steering wheel, shift gears, and accelerate were posted online and the videos quickly went viral. As a result, the shelter‟s whole stock of puppies was adopted within only a few weeks of the ad campaign.
  • 7. Photoball HP As part of its „Making Memories Last” campaign, HP created a massive blow up ball for festival goers to play around with. The coolest thing is that the ball was fitted with a HD camera and WiFi hub allowing the ball to take photos and videos of the audience. These would then be streamed to both the festival stage and onto the festival‟s Facebook page, where people could find and tag themselves, or their friends if they weren‟t at the event. After printing over 2,000 photos, the live camera feed reached over three million people.
