The Argyle Hotel

- 3. Christmas Light Show Saks Fifth Avenue On Monday, November 19th, 2012, Saks Fifth Avenue unveiled their new iconic holiday 3D light show to NYC and the world. The 3D light show is bigger and even more spectacular for 2012, and runs every night from 5-10pm for the 6 weeks. With the facade of the store as the canvas, the show tells a festive tale of snowflakes, ice skaters and the perfect holiday gift - the larger than life Saks Yeti. You can‟t beat a good light projection show!

The ad features Christmas trees in 18 different locations around Ireland (incl the Spar in Ranelagh, which has since been moved!) tying in with the brands slogan of „Under the Tree‟.
- 5. Live human outdoor Samsung Note 10.1 A truly innovative and interactive way to use digital outdoor panels. This was for the Samsung Galaxy Note tablet, and they put an artist inside the outdoor, not literally but digitally! Then they asked him to draw the passersby in real-time. But instead of paper and pencil, they gave him a Samsung Galaxy Note Tablet. Outdoor meets digital meets street artist! This has yet to be seen in the Irish market, but hopefully it‟s not too far away.
- 6. Cover Photo Display Nescafé Greece Nescafé made innovative use of their Facebook cover photo with the launch of their newly shaped jar by encouraging both new and existing fans to unveil the product with each like. Starting with an image of coffee beans, beans were removed as the likes went up until the product was finally unveiled. While the video doesn‟t do much to reveal the mechanics of how fans were encouraged to like the page – the idea itself is interesting and shows how Facebook cover photos might be used in the future.
- 7. Corner shop music Red Stripe Picking up a Red Stripe lager became much more interesting for shoppers at an East London corner store. The entire shop was transformed into a musical destination when the products started "performing" as soon as a customer picked a Red Stripe lager from the shelves. The agency behind the stunt used hidden cameras, cables and LED lights to record the experience, which resulted in the film seen here. The sounds were programmed to perform the 1978 classic “A message to you Rudy” by The Specials. Check out how Red Stripe made it happen here!
