Globologos is an oasis for free-roaming ideas, a gathering place
where participants are invited to join a collective effort to build “durable
creativity” that goes beyond the discourse of consumerism.
We live in an age of rapid growth for thinkers and philosophers.
As ideas are pushed beyond their natural sphere, there is
a need to rediscover their primary essence, and this innovative
project transforms ideas back into fertile creative sparks.
Globologos sets out to be a unifying force that brings together
theories about the deeper meaning of life.
As a tribute to the work of Jacques Languirand, this Web
space features a range of concepts which were inspired by the
philosopher’s 35 years of archives and documents, adapted by
Jean-François Alain. The concepts are presented in the site to
provoke debate. Moreover, since human interaction is integral
to inspiration, the project will head to different events, such as
Earth Day, where visitors will be ushered into an anti-boredom
shelter – a veritable biosphere for cultivating curiosity.
In these polarizing locations where expression is not bound
by images or verbs, the elastic potential of the Internet will
jump-start visitors’ imaginations. Aboard Jacques’ cosmic universe,
visitors will travel through a virtual space and discover a
landscape populated by 20 philosophical spheres. And this is
merely the dawn of a forgott en consciousness…

THE Stylemate issue 03|2021 - into the futureTHE Stylemate
Our future seems more uncertain than ever, and even harder to predict. The small-scale way to look at it is in terms of what the winter will bring for tourism, while the broader question is a matter of considering the climate crisis. That’s why we’ve made the future the topic of this issue of THE Stylemate.
My portfolio highlights some of my projects completed while in college at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
It includes long and short projects, as well as a mix of work from second through fourth year, and shows my progression of skills as a designer through the years.

Book Formatting: Quality Control Checks for DesignersConfidence Ago
This presentation was made to help designers who work in publishing houses or format books for printing ensure quality.
Quality control is vital to every industry. This is why every department in a company need create a method they use in ensuring quality. This, perhaps, will not only improve the quality of products and bring errors to the barest minimum, but take it to a near perfect finish.
It is beyond a moot point that a good book will somewhat be judged by its cover, but the content of the book remains king. No matter how beautiful the cover, if the quality of writing or presentation is off, that will be a reason for readers not to come back to the book or recommend it.
So, this presentation points designers to some important things that may be missed by an editor that they could eventually discover and call the attention of the editor.
Transforming Brand Perception and Boosting Profitabilityaaryangarg12
In today's digital era, the dynamics of brand perception, consumer behavior, and profitability have been profoundly reshaped by the synergy of branding, social media, and website design. This research paper investigates the transformative power of these elements in influencing how individuals perceive brands and products and how this transformation can be harnessed to drive sales and profitability for businesses.
Through an exploration of brand psychology and consumer behavior, this study sheds light on the intricate ways in which effective branding strategies, strategic social media engagement, and user-centric website design contribute to altering consumers' perceptions. We delve into the principles that underlie successful brand transformations, examining how visual identity, messaging, and storytelling can captivate and resonate with target audiences.
Methodologically, this research employs a comprehensive approach, combining qualitative and quantitative analyses. Real-world case studies illustrate the impact of branding, social media campaigns, and website redesigns on consumer perception, sales figures, and profitability. We assess the various metrics, including brand awareness, customer engagement, conversion rates, and revenue growth, to measure the effectiveness of these strategies.
The results underscore the pivotal role of cohesive branding, social media influence, and website usability in shaping positive brand perceptions, influencing consumer decisions, and ultimately bolstering sales and profitability. This paper provides actionable insights and strategic recommendations for businesses seeking to leverage branding, social media, and website design as potent tools to enhance their market position and financial success.

Transportation by foot:
Carry it by the handle or by the sides.
Transportation by car:
Pull the rope - the bottles pushes aside
- enjoy the silence.
About:
Glorias Äppelgård is a small company, an apple
farm, run by the family that owns it. The main
focus are products based on apples such as
vinegar, marmelade and jelly. For the autumn
of 2007 they decided to launch an applejuice
made from one particular kind of apple. For this
they wanted a low cost carrier that would be
sold in their shop.
Brief:
To design a bottle carrier that fits well within the
company’s product range. The material should
be prodominently wood. Cost for production
should be kept to a minimum, this should be
reflected in the retail price. Consideration of the
company’s values should be taken into account.
Idea:
To provide the consumer with a product that
reduces the noise factor involved in carrying
glass bottles.

A 3D model was built and rendered. Thereafter
a real working prototype was constructed, by
me, in the workshops.
Due to the unique design of the front fork it was
rigorously tested in SolidWorks.
Frame and fork got carefully tested in digital

Industrial Design Project I 5th semester, 2006
- designed to suit within Sram’s product range.
Brief:
Self generate a project.
Situation and problem:
As a cyclist in a hectic traffic system, it is hard to
be acknowledged by other road users.
Solution:
A device to enhance the communication
between cyclists and the surrounding traffic.
A system consisting of a combined electrical
horn and light unit with control unit was the
result. It is based on the Sram hub generator
due to its strong current and low energy use.
For easy access is the control unit, with the
integrated bell for pedestrians, placed on the
handle bars.

Brief:
To alter an existing piece of indoor furniture.
Changing its apperance and possibly the func-
tion. At the second stage we teamed up with a
classmate to create a space to compliment the
furniture.
Idea:
Alternation through perforation.
To design a kit for making a standard bed into
a DIY sofa while still encourage the customer to
keep on altering.

The finished model was one of the biggest ever built in school. The assembly only consist of four
sides and 14 screws and doesn´t take longer than 15 minutes to put together.
Hidden inside one of the cushions a duvet can be found.
The Alte[nite] sofa works under the same
principle as a sheet of stamps. By tearing off a
unit you not only recieves a stamp but also an
unique negative shape. The users must think
about which impression they want the sofa to
give because just like the action of tearing off
a stamp from it sheet, this is a non- reversible
action.

Together with classmate Snorri Valdimarsson
we made a short movie introducing both
objects in a space. The movie was based on
the emotion our objects gave the user.
To reinforce the message about alteration by perforation the presentation was printed on A3 paper
and the slides were then torne off one by one. Last but not least my contact information was torne
off and given to the critics.

wanted to create something with a distinctive
graphic identity. The outcome was a piece of
furniture with two parts that allowes the owner
to change its apperance to accomodate multi-

Alice was beginning to get very tired of sitting by her sister on the bank, and
of having nothing to do: once or twice she had peeped into the book her
sister was reading, but it had no pictures or conversations in it, `and what
is the use of a book,' thought Alice `without pictures or conversation?'
So she was considering in her own mind (as well as she could, for the hot
day made her feel very sleepy and stupid), whether the pleasure of making
a daisy-chain would be worth the trouble of getting up and picking the
daisies, when suddenly a White Rabbit with pink eyes ran close by her.
There was nothing so VERY remarkable in that; nor did Alice think it so
VERY much out of the way to hear the Rabbit say to itself, `Oh dear! Oh
dear! I shall be late!' (when she thought it over afterwards, it occurred to
her that she ought to have wondered at this, but at the time it all seemed
quite natural); but when the Rabbit actually TOOK A WATCH OUT OF ITS
WAISTCOAT- POCKET, and looked at it, and then hurried on, Alice started to
her feet, for it flashed across her mind that she had never before seen a
rabbit with either a waistcoat-pocket, or a watch to take out of it, and
burning with curiosity, she ran across the field after it, and fortunately was
just in time to see it pop down a large rabbit-hole under the hedge.
In another moment down went Alice after it, never once considering how in
the world she was to get out again.
A cover suggestion for Alice’s adventures in Wonderland made
for the extra curricular course Graphic design and typography.
