AIESEC Costa Rica Incoming Exchange
Process
This is a basic step by step process of how to proceed with hiring an AIESEC trainee.
Timelines are dependent on your needs.
Company completes and signs the Job Specification Form (JS)
AIESEC will advertise the position on our Global Intranet
AIESEC will present the top 3-5 CVs to the Company in approx
2 week s(this timeline is flexible)
If no suitable candidates are presented, Company will provide
detailed feedback and AIESEC will present further CVs
Company chooses which candidates to telephone interview
AIESEC will help co-ordinate the telephone inter
Company holds telephone interviews
Company will select the sucessfull candidate and complete an
Acceptance Note
Company will provide the necessary details for the Visa (if applicable)
AIESEC will deal with the whole Visa process
AIESEC will liase with the trainee to prepare for their arrival to Costa Rica
AIESEC will pick the trainee up from the airport and help them settle
into Costa ARIca
AIESEC will Invoice the Company for the traineeship

If you have decided to take our international graduate below is the breakdown of the process:

Breakdown Duration
Fill and signed the Internship Role Questionnaire

 This is a form of a contract on the role of the
intern in your company.
  Includes the details of the intern skills and
competencies that you required. 2-3 days
  The duration of the internship, and the date and
time the internship should start.
  You can include any particular requirements
that you need.
Upload position on our International Database
(Payment of $650 is required)

 Promotion of the position to our International
10-14 daysDatabase.*
  Searching and collecting interest from our
international graduates.*
Selection of the International Candidates

 International Candidates information presented
to you.
  If you are satisfied with the candidates, 10-14 days
interview will be arranged through telephone or
Skype.*
  If not satisfied with the candidates, searching of
suitable candidates will be continuing.
Intern Selected
(Payment of $1050 is required)

 Signed a Trainee Nominee acceptance note 1-2 days
  Received the Exchange Participant (Intern)

Intern Arriving Process*
1 month
  Visa application (Determined by the Intern country of origin)
  Flight tickets arrangement
