Part 1 – Interview Section
This section lasts for 4-5 minutes and it starts with an Introduction in which basic questions will be
asked about yourself. Like as follows :

Your Introduction

Your Personality

Your Living Style

Your Hometown & Concerned topics

Do you enjoy learning English

Etc...
Use this section to start to relax and get comfortable.

Part 2 – Long Answer
This section lasts for 1-2 minutes and this section is little-bit difficult for most of the students.

It is not possible to predict what topics may be
discussed at this point in the interview.

you will be given a topic about which you must
speak uninterrupted for 1-2 minutes.

You will have one minute of prep time.

On this occasion a monologue is what is required.

You need to talk about the topic as fluently
and coherently as possible.

Part 3 - Discussion
This section lasts for 3-4 minutes, you have to discuss a topic
with the examiner.

The interviewer will enlarge on things which were
discussed in the second part of the test.

Give in-depth answers to questions about the topic.

Use the language of description, comparison and
speculation.

Explain and justify your opinions, assumptions, predictions,
reasons etc.

Grading System
The criteria for the scoring system depends upon various factors. There are four sections that all
carry equal weight in grading.

