The document proposes a documentary made by a teenager about teenage fashion. It will explore how teenagers develop their sense of style through interviews with teens in different areas and investigations into celebrity influences. The documentary will examine whether living area impacts what teens wear and get their fashion sense from. The target audience is teenagers as there is a lack of documentaries made for and by teens on subjects they would find interesting, like fashion.

Subject matter: There is a gap in the market for documentaries made by teenagers; many teenagers are not watching many documentaries so I think that if the documentary was presented and made by a teenager , teenagers will be more interested in watching it as long as the subject matter is something they will be interested in. For my first idea I have decided on Fashion as it is a big part of being a teenager and I will look into how they get their fashion sense and why they dress the way they do and finally does the area they live in affect the way they dress. Also I will be seeing what celebrities these teenagers look up to and see if their sense of style comes from their idols.

4. Interviews: I will be interviewing teenagers in different areas and asking them a series of questions about their lifestyle and what they like to ware; I will also be looking into shops and the areas the shops are in to determine weather or not the area these teenagers live in affect the clothes they ware. My target audience is teenagers because there are not enough documentaries out their directed at teenagers and made by teenagers. The mode of address will be Direct and will language will be Colloquial but also Formal in some parts of the documentary for example the way I address the audience will be Direct and will use formal language but some parts of the documentary when I'm speaking to teenagers may contain some Colloquial language.
