However, internet banking users are more likely to buy things online, with 40% being more inclined than non-users. They also spend more per month, with 56% of internet banking users spending over $50 monthly versus 32% of non-users. To boost e-commerce, trust in online payments and sites must increase, as 40% do not trust payments and 14% do not trust sites. Local shopping sites are highly relevant, with 76% mainly purchasing from their own countries.
