This document presents the concept of Indirect Constructive Volume Geometry (ICVG) as an extension of Constructive Solid Geometry (CSG) for visualizing volumetric data in three-dimensional computer graphics. It introduces a new algebraic framework for ICVG that includes operators similar to those in standard CSG, tailored for volumetric contexts, and defines practical primitives for indirect visualization. The paper discusses the mathematical foundation, applications, and techniques for effectively reducing visual artifacts during the indirect visualization process.
