The Municipal "Antonio José de Sucre" Educative Unit has incorporated technology gradually due to economic and political factors. It has several computer labs with internet access, as well as an English lab and classrooms that will soon have interactive whiteboards. However, it lacks wireless internet and a virtual learning platform. According to a UNESCO model, it is currently in the "applying stage" of ICT integration, with a teacher-centered approach. The document identifies strengths like technological equipment and upcoming interactive whiteboards, but also weaknesses such as limited wireless access and traditional teaching methods. It proposes intensive teacher training and engaging ICT activities to advance to the "transforming stage" of integration.
