This proposal outlines plans for a Putra Clubhouse development to provide local residents a place to relax, socialize, and work out. The clubhouse would include facilities like a gym, swimming pool, playground, and sports courts, as well as commercial spaces. It aims to give residents a comfortable nearby location for leisure activities and events. The multi-level design incorporates parking, an entrance lounge, workout areas, and outdoor spaces. The proposal argues this clubhouse could improve neighborhood life and health by bringing the community together in one central location.

Putra Clubhouse – Relax, Socialize, Work Out
Objective
The clubhouse is to provide a comfortable place for residences to
relax, socialize and also work out for a healthy life style.

Rationale
The site area is surrounded by residential areas and very little
commercial area. Also, there are residential parks in each residential
area. But there are not any proper sports facilities around, and also a
place for having events. Basically, there is not a more comfortable
place than the park to socialize and exercise. So the clubhouse is
chosen to be build to provide residences to have a more comfortable
place to have their leisure activities.

PUTRA CLUBHOUSE
The site is the area of Putra Heights, therefore, it’s name is derive from
the area it’s in. This clubhouse is design with the mindset of only
catering to the residences living near the site, so the membership is
only given to the residences of Putra Height.
Basement
The basement is fully catered as a
carpark for the clubhouse. It would
be free of charge for the members
and there would be a small
amount of fee for visitors. There
would be lifts and stairs that will lead up to the lounge at ground floor.

4. Ground Floor
ENTRANCE
The Entrance is mainly
for pick up and drop off.
It’s a round about so
that it would reduce car
congestion at the
entrance. There would
be a water fountain right in front of the entrance.
LOUNGE
The lounge would be the
connection every space in the
clubhouse. It also act as a waiting
and resting area. There would be a
flight of stairs that look grand the moment you walk into the lounge.
There would also be a small store
that sells grab-n-go food and
beverages for quick snacks.

5. FACILITIES
At the facilities area, there would
be an office for the clubhouse
management team. This is the
place where people can register
for membership, do the
membership payment or do enquiries regarding the clubhouses.
Other than that, there would be an
office for the security team.
In case of any minor injuries, there
would be an emergency center to
patch it up.

6. Surau would also be provided at
the facilities area.
GYM
In every clubhouse, a gym
is a must to provide to the
members. The gym would
be fully equip with well
maintain gym equipment
and also would provide
gym instructors for those who requested. It is connected to restrooms
and saunas for easy excess.
SWIMMING POOL
There would be two types of
swimming pool, which one is for
adults and another is for kids. It is

7. also connected to the restroom and sauna for easy access.
PLAYGROUND
There would be a playground
right next to the pool for kids who
does not want to swim. It is
located next to the pool so that
families would not be too
distance from each other.
RESTROOM & SAUNA
The restroom would be a
place for the people to
clean up themselves after
a session of workout. A
sauna would also be
provided for relaxation purposes.
POOL & SNOOKER
Pool and snooker tables are
for leisure purposes.

8. COMMERCIAL AREA
At the commercial area, there would be many food & beverages
services. Other than that there would be some leisure services such as
massage parlour and bars.
Second Floor
On the second floor, there would be two sports facilities provided,
which is badminton court and squash court. There would be four
badminton courts and two squash courts.

9. There would also be two halls that have two different purposes. First of
all, the event hall is to let people to have events there, such as
ceremonies, or talks.
The other one is called activity hall, where
people can have activities there. For
example dance classes, workshops, or any
activities that need a big spaces.
Third Floor
On the top floor would be an open air space. There would be two
sports facilities provided, which is tennis court and basketball court.
Other than that, there is also a restroom for the top floor like the one on
the ground floor, except there would not be a sauna there.

10. CONCLUSION
With this clubhouse, neighborhood would be more lively as people can
get to know each other at this place. It would also help the residences
to lead a healthier lifestyle with the sports facilities that are provided.
This is the place where it connects everyone in the neighborhood
together.
