ABOUT:
IMO is abbreviated as International
mathematical olympiad.IMO is a medium
to encourage the mathematical ability of
high school students to high intelligence
mark. Each year countries across the world
send a team of 6 students to compete in
international mathematical Olympiad.
BENEFIT:
Because of IMO students can
participate at 4 different levels- school,
city, state and international. After taking
the test they can judge themselves
according to their intelligence and ability.

3. IMO
ELIGIBILITY:
Students of classes from 1st to 12th.

13th December and 20th December of each year

4. PATTErN : IMO
• CLASS 1: The actual test paper has 35 questions.
Time allowed : 60 minutes.
There are 3 sections: 10 questions in section I,
15 in section II and 10 in section III.
Section – I :Logical Reasoning,
Section – II : Mathematical Reasoning &
Section – III : Everyday Mathematics
• FrOM CLASS 2-12: The actual test paper has 50
questions.
Time allowed : 60 minutes.
There are 3 sections, 20 questions in section I,
20 in section II and 10 in section III.

5. NSO
ABOUT:
NSO is abbreviated as national Science
Olympiad.NSO is a aptitude competition
which encourages students to learn
important subjects like Maths, Biology,
Chemistry, Physics and Computer Science.
The spirit of competitions and sense of
recognition inspire students to excel in
choose field of study and set higher goals.
BENEFIT:
Because of NSO students can
participate at 4 different levels- school, city,
state and international. After taking the
test they can judge themselves
according to their intelligence and ability.

ELIGIBILITY:
Students of classes from 1st to 12th.

22nd November and 29th November of each year.

8. NTSE
ABOUT:
NTSE is abbreviated as national
Talent Search Examination . NTSE is
conducted for students studying in Class
VIII by NCERT to identify talented
students.
BENEFIT:
Students who are awarded
scholarships receive financial assistance
up to the Ph.D. level for studies in social
sciences, basic sciences and commerce.
Those pursuing professional courses such
as engineering, medicine, management
and law are eligible to receive financial
assistance up to the Master's degree level.

9. NTSE
ELIGIBILITY:
Students (State, CBSE & ICSE) who are
currently in Class VII .
SYLLABUS:
The Syllabus for this National Talent
Search Exam consists of all lessons that
are taken by NTSE for MAT. And for
SAT the syllabus is as follows: The NCERT
books of CBSE board is the syllabus to
study Science and Social Science subject.
And for maths, students need to study the
maths syllabus of class 8th , 9th and
10th standard.

DATE OF ExAM:
Stage I (State) : 20th November
Stage II (National) : 13th May of each year.
