 WORKING
 CONCLUSION
INTRODUCTION
 The Hyper loop is an proposed mode of
passenger / goods cargo transportation
 It uses the technology of VACTRAIN
 VACTRAIN (vacuum tube trains )it is a very
high speed rail transportation .
 This is an emerging technology in which all
the nations are looking forward to install this
tech.
 This gives a ease of transportation and with
low energy consumption
PROBLEM ANALYSIS
 As we face many problems for transporting
of passengers and goods , it causes a lot
pollution problems.
 In the metropolitan cities to reduce crowd in
trains and to increase the speed and time of
transportation the usage of metros as public
transportation has come into use, but the
efficiency of these trains are not up to the
mark .
PROBLEM ANALYSIS
 Speed of transportation is less when
compared to the vactrains.
 The time taken to travel from one place to
another is more.
 The energy utilized by the diesel and
electric trains is more .
EFFICIENCY
Los Angeles CA-San Francisco CA
Distance-381.7 mi
Cost:
 Hyperloop - $20
 Car/bus - $25 to $40
 Train - $60 to $300
 Flight - $106 &.....
WORKING
 The hyperloop works on the principle of
MAGALEV(magnetic levitation) .
 It is a sealed tube of system in which the
POD is used for travelling .
 The trains travel under the pressure of
1millibar of pressure(100pa).
WORKING
 It works against the air and frictional resistance .
 The capsules or pods used are levitated to 0.02-
0.05 mm
 It can travel a distance of 560km’s at a speed of
1200km/h allowing a time of 35 mins.
WORKING
 A Specially designed “pod” is sent
into a steel tube which is
maintained at a partial vacuum.
 It’s working is similar to a air
hockey table
 The internal acceleration is 2 to 3
times greater than takeoff and
landing
CONCLUSION
 The use of hyperloop gives us reduction
in time and energy.
 The pod is highly sealed in vacuum to
withstand high pressure and speed .
 With this technology proposed at
different nations , India being one among
them has proposed routes from Chennai
to Bangalore & Chennai to Mumbai , it
may be highly efficient and less time
consumption.
 Though the cost of implementation is
high, the benefits are more like very less
travel time.
