The Center for Community Engagement & Service-Learning at Hobart and William Smith Colleges coordinates various programs that provide students opportunities to engage in community service, such as building homes with Habitat for Humanity, tutoring at the local Boys & Girls Club, and participating in alternative spring break trips. Students, faculty and staff work together to prepare and

community for 8 Thursdays during the school year.

TRIPS (MARCH)
Alternative spring break in March - students work on a project held off-
campus. Over the past few years, HWS students have gone to Virginia,

New Jersey and the Gulf Coast.
