The Office of Diversity and Multicultural Affairs at Daemen College is led by Director Alvin Roberts. Their mission is to foster respect for diversity and an understanding of diversity grounded in human dignity. They aim to be a leader in diversity education through high impact initiatives that are reflective of the community and its needs. The office works to provide guidance on diversity efforts across campus, connect students and staff with cultural opportunities, and serve as a liaison for community partners regarding equity, diversity and inclusion. They oversee the College's diversity council and strategic plan.

THE OFFICE OF DIVERSITY AND
MULTICULTURAL AFFAIRS WORKS TO:
Provide guidance and support
for various diversity and
inclusion efforts across campus.
Connect students, faculty, and
staff with the multitude of
cultural offerings, experiences,
and involvement opportunities
in the WNY region.
Serve as a liaison for
community partners that wish to
engage with Daemen as it
relates to equity, diversity, and
inclusion.
Oversee and manage Daemen
College's Council on Diversity
and Inclusion as well as the
development and execution of
the college's diversity strategic
plan.
