Foreseeing the impact the cloud, mobile, and GIS, Ed knew he had to change his business model or become irrelevant. Open source was the path to future sustainability and innovation.
There were however, seemingly insurmountable challenges. Tendenci 5, the first open source CMS platform for nonprofit organizations, had to be completely rewritten from .Net, ASP and SQL to Python, Django and PostgreSQL. From Github to cloud software, he had to choose all the tools to put in place to support his rewritten product and new architecture.

Crowd Sourcing Information From Your Members
Wednesday, July 23 – 1:15pm-2:15pm
By tapping into the wisdom of your membership through crowdsourcing, you could have access to an almost unlimited supply of ideas for getting your association’s message across on your website. Not only that, but crowdsourcing could enable you to disseminate your messages to a larger number of current and potential members. Members who are involved in content have more ownership and are more likely to share that content with their own networks.
Ed Schipul will take the audience through the fundamentals of how to use crowdsourcing to give a boost to their organization’s website content. He’ll give practical tips on:
-How to recruit and maintain guest contributors, bloggers and photographers
-The best ways to collect stories from members and turn them into content
-How to use your people on video to tell your story (i.e. volunteers, board)
-Using social media to collect ideas/stories
-Maintaining an editorial calendar and accountability
Throughout the presentation, Schipul will provide plenty of real-word examples of how crowdsourcing works to use the wisdom of your membership to disseminate your message.
The audience will learn:
-How leveraging content from members, or “crowdsourcing,” can make their job easier.
-How crowdsourcing encourages members to share their association’s message.
-Best practices for recruiting and maintaining guest contributors, bloggers and photographers.
-Best practices for collecting stories from members and turning them into content.
-Best practices for featuring their members on video to tell your association’s story.
-How to use social media to collect ideas and stories.
-How to maintain an editorial calendar and accountability.

Fast forward four years and we launched our system of tools under the name CultureTalk (www.culturetalk.com). Born at the intersection of culture and communications, our #CultureCode speaks both to our big vision of helping individuals and organizations realize their true potential and from the heart of little agency where it all began.
Engaging The New Frontier: How Millennials Are Changing the WorkforceKevin Snyder, Ed.D.
NOTE: This uploaded version was created specifically for SlideShare. Slides have been narrated so that you can understand content. Despite the high number of slides, I promise you will click through many quickly!
SUMMARY OF PRESENTATION:
A new generation of professionals has emerged and officially become the majority workforce demographic. This population known as Generation Y, or Millennials, is changing how human resource professionals, executives and managers foster an organizational culture that attracts, develops, retains, and engages cross-generational employees both now and in the future. Organizations that understand and embrace the needs and perspectives of Generation Y will not only find success in a more engaged and productive workforce, but also avoid significant costs of rapid employee turnover and disengagement. In this interactive presentation tailored for both Millennial and non-Millennial professionals as audience participants, you will discover empowering best practices, ‘next practices,’ and tangible take-a-ways on how the ‘corporate melting pot’ can leverage unique generational mentalities and expectations. You will learn how the arrival of the most hyper-connected, civic-minded and tech-savvy generation has impacted workplace culture and the way work will continue to get done.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
(1) Learn about generational perspectives, both differing and similar, and how to embrace and leverage these unique mentalities to foster an engaged workforce culture.
(2) Discover what isn’t being said and written about Generation Y that will lead to a new understanding about this new workforce majority and their needs.
(3) Leave with several ‘Call to Action’ and ‘Next Practice’ strategies for bridging the generations and building workforce synergy.

Enterprise Excellence is Inclusive Excellence.pdfKaiNexus
Enterprise excellence and inclusive excellence are closely linked, and real-world challenges have shown that both are essential to the success of any organization. To achieve enterprise excellence, organizations must focus on improving their operations and processes while creating an inclusive environment that engages everyone. In this interactive session, the facilitator will highlight commonly established business practices and how they limit our ability to engage everyone every day. More importantly, though, participants will likely gain increased awareness of what we can do differently to maximize enterprise excellence through deliberate inclusion.
What is Enterprise Excellence?
Enterprise Excellence is a holistic approach that's aimed at achieving world-class performance across all aspects of the organization.
What might I learn?
A way to engage all in creating Inclusive Excellence. Lessons from the US military and their parallels to the story of Harry Potter. How belt systems and CI teams can destroy inclusive practices. How leadership language invites people to the party. There are three things leaders can do to engage everyone every day: maximizing psychological safety to create environments where folks learn, contribute, and challenge the status quo.
Who might benefit? Anyone and everyone leading folks from the shop floor to top floor.

Memorandum Of Association Constitution of Company.pptseri bangash
www.seribangash.com
A Memorandum of Association (MOA) is a legal document that outlines the fundamental principles and objectives upon which a company operates. It serves as the company's charter or constitution and defines the scope of its activities. Here's a detailed note on the MOA:
Contents of Memorandum of Association:
Name Clause: This clause states the name of the company, which should end with words like "Limited" or "Ltd." for a public limited company and "Private Limited" or "Pvt. Ltd." for a private limited company.
https://seribangash.com/article-of-association-is-legal-doc-of-company/
Registered Office Clause: It specifies the location where the company's registered office is situated. This office is where all official communications and notices are sent.
Objective Clause: This clause delineates the main objectives for which the company is formed. It's important to define these objectives clearly, as the company cannot undertake activities beyond those mentioned in this clause.
www.seribangash.com
Liability Clause: It outlines the extent of liability of the company's members. In the case of companies limited by shares, the liability of members is limited to the amount unpaid on their shares. For companies limited by guarantee, members' liability is limited to the amount they undertake to contribute if the company is wound up.
https://seribangash.com/promotors-is-person-conceived-formation-company/
Capital Clause: This clause specifies the authorized capital of the company, i.e., the maximum amount of share capital the company is authorized to issue. It also mentions the division of this capital into shares and their respective nominal value.
Association Clause: It simply states that the subscribers wish to form a company and agree to become members of it, in accordance with the terms of the MOA.
Importance of Memorandum of Association:
Legal Requirement: The MOA is a legal requirement for the formation of a company. It must be filed with the Registrar of Companies during the incorporation process.
Constitutional Document: It serves as the company's constitutional document, defining its scope, powers, and limitations.
Protection of Members: It protects the interests of the company's members by clearly defining the objectives and limiting their liability.
External Communication: It provides clarity to external parties, such as investors, creditors, and regulatory authorities, regarding the company's objectives and powers.
https://seribangash.com/difference-public-and-private-company-law/
Binding Authority: The company and its members are bound by the provisions of the MOA. Any action taken beyond its scope may be considered ultra vires (beyond the powers) of the company and therefore void.
Amendment of MOA:
