Why the title is so personal; why should I share my experience about my design career?
Before I let you know the answer you should know little things about me, I would love to introduce myself as an engineering graduate; yes an engineer who engineered himself as a designer.
I don’t have design degree I’m a self-taught designer and I don’t settle in learning new things because I don’t have that black hat with a tassel which every degree holder has.
How many of you feel that you’re an engineer and you are struggling to chase your dreams?
Coming back to the title; this presentation is so personal because it will make you relate yourself and you can see some of your shades in me.

What is Infographics?
There are lot of phrase around the term Information graphics like
"Infographics." "Data visualization." "Information design. & “Communication Design"
We're talking about any graphic that displays and explains information, whether that be data or words. When we use the term "data visualization," we're using it as a general term used to describe data presented in a visual way.
Why Infographics?
Infographics are important because they change the way people find and
experience stories especially now, when more and more infographics are being used to augment editorial content on the web. Infographics create a new way of seeing the world of data, and they help communicate complex ideas in a clear and beautiful way.

CUbRIK tutorial at ICWE 2013: part 1 Introduction to Human ComputationCUbRIK Project
2013, July 8
Part 1 of the tutorial illustrated at ICWE 2013, by Alessandro Bozzon (Delft University of Technology)
Crowdsourcing and human computation are novel disciplines that enable the design of computation processes that include humans as actors for task execution. In such a context, Games With a Purpose are an effective mean to channel, in a constructive manner, the human brainpower required to perform tasks that computers are unable to perform, through computer games. This tutorial introduces the core research questions in human computation, with a specific focus on the techniques required to manage structured and unstructured data. The second half of the tutorial delves into the field of game design for serious task, with an emphasis on games for human computation purposes. Our goal is to provide participants with a wide, yet complete overview of the research landscape; we aim at giving practitioners a solid understanding of the best practices in designing and running human computation tasks, while providing academics with solid references and, possibly, promising ideas for their future research activities.
A key-note presented at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences in february 2014 about how philosophy of "embodiment of human being" can help design the Smart City. Instead of making the city digital, how can we use digital processing to make for a better experience in the actual, concrete world in which our bodies are situated?

Planning and conducting User Experience (UX) activities in a structured and scientific manner has many advantages. It is important that UX Professionals understand the scientific basis of UX methods and leverage them to enhance the UX of the application being designed. It would also be easier for the UX designer to get a buy-in from the stakeholders if his design recommendations are based in scientific logic and whetted by supporting data. In this course, UX relevant social sciences based scientific concepts and methods will be presented to the audience in a way which is simple to understand and easily to assimilate.
On March 11, 2011 Todd Marks presented The Singularity is Here at SXSW Interactive.
The topic of Singularity is heating up as more people discuss what will become of the human race when computers exceed our intelligence. This presentation explores several theories about the future of mankind and points out how the technology leading us there is already HERE.
“The Singularity is Near” is a book and movie written by futurist and prominent Singularitarian, Ray Kurzweil. It is a documentary with a B-line drama where Ray’s digital alter ego Ramona sets off on a quest to pass the Turing Test. Passing this test signifies the day computers can “think”, which came close to occurring a few years ago and is not far off.
Learn what milestones we have already reached toward Singularity and what technologies present and future are leading us there. We will explore Location Based Services, Augmented Reality, Bio-Feedback and Smart Agents. We will analyze current trends in Bio-Technology, Nano-Technology, Computing and Robotics and discuss the possibility of Digital Immortality.

Space is more than an empty container for things. It has its own features and forms: a psychogeography. It is created through movements and flows. Information technologies complicate spatiality by simulating space, contracting space with communication and locating actors in space. Remediations of spatiality are powerful features of technoculture.
Transforming Brand Perception and Boosting Profitabilityaaryangarg12
In today's digital era, the dynamics of brand perception, consumer behavior, and profitability have been profoundly reshaped by the synergy of branding, social media, and website design. This research paper investigates the transformative power of these elements in influencing how individuals perceive brands and products and how this transformation can be harnessed to drive sales and profitability for businesses.
Through an exploration of brand psychology and consumer behavior, this study sheds light on the intricate ways in which effective branding strategies, strategic social media engagement, and user-centric website design contribute to altering consumers' perceptions. We delve into the principles that underlie successful brand transformations, examining how visual identity, messaging, and storytelling can captivate and resonate with target audiences.
Methodologically, this research employs a comprehensive approach, combining qualitative and quantitative analyses. Real-world case studies illustrate the impact of branding, social media campaigns, and website redesigns on consumer perception, sales figures, and profitability. We assess the various metrics, including brand awareness, customer engagement, conversion rates, and revenue growth, to measure the effectiveness of these strategies.
The results underscore the pivotal role of cohesive branding, social media influence, and website usability in shaping positive brand perceptions, influencing consumer decisions, and ultimately bolstering sales and profitability. This paper provides actionable insights and strategic recommendations for businesses seeking to leverage branding, social media, and website design as potent tools to enhance their market position and financial success.
