ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION INTO M. S. by Research in Glaciology
Students having completed 4 year Bachelor's degree in Hydrology, Meteorology, Geosciences,
Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or Civil Engineering with minimum 2.5
CGPA or 50% in aggregate marks are eligible to apply. Priority will be given to qualified female
candidates, people from marginalized groups, candidates with sound health and high altitude
field work experience are encouraged to apply.
SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS
Application forms are available at the university's administration office, School of Science,
Block 06, Dhulikhel, Kavre, or on-line at the Kathmandu University, School of Science,
Department of Environmental Science & Engineering website (Application Form for M. S. by
Research). Submit completed application form with application fee of Rs. 1250 along with
photocopies of previous academic and citizenship certificates to the department office at
Dhulikhel, Kavre.
Last date of submission of application is Wednesday, 20 August 2014.
Only short listed candidates will be informed for an interview on Friday, 22 August
2014. Orientation and classes will commence from Monday, 1 September 2014.
