occupational injury rate by year
compared with the average client
using DEKRA's employee
engagement methodology applied to
safety.
• On average, our clients using
DEKRA’s methodology achieved a
24% reduction in occupational injuries
in the first year of implementation,
32% in the second, 39% in the third,
40% in the fourth, 49% in the fifth,
and 52% in the sixth. The top 25% of
our clients achieved a 68% reduction
in occupational injuries in the first
year of implementation, 72% in the
second, 75% in the third, 82% in the
fourth, 82% in the fifth, and 79% in
the sixth. Results are based on 353
sites using DEKRA consultants,
published in 6th Edition of the
Outcome Study.

  • 21. © 2019 DEKRA ANALYSIS OF SAFETY PERFORMANCE Comparison of Results Q3-2017 – Q1-2018 *Year 1 represents 3 quarters of data. • This chart shows the reduction in the occupational injury rate by year compared with the average client using DEKRA's employee engagement methodology applied to safety. • On average, our clients using DEKRA’s methodology achieved a 24% reduction in occupational injuries in the first year of implementation, 32% in the second, 39% in the third, 40% in the fourth, 49% in the fifth, and 52% in the sixth. The top 25% of our clients achieved a 68% reduction in occupational injuries in the first year of implementation, 72% in the second, 75% in the third, 82% in the fourth, 82% in the fifth, and 79% in the sixth.
