This document summarizes the impact of Scotland's HPV vaccination program on HPV infection and cervical disease in screened women. Key findings include: 1) Vaccine uptake in Scotland from 2009-2014 was over 90%. Analysis found reductions in HPV 16/18 and other high-risk HPV types. 2) There is preliminary evidence of herd protection in unvaccinated girls. Less than 3 doses of the vaccine may still provide protection against cervical cancer. 3) The vaccine was associated with an 18%, 51%, and 59% reduction in CIN1, CIN2, and CIN3 lesions respectively at the population level. The vaccine effect was more profound in women from more deprived areas. 4)
