This document discusses the human papilloma virus (HPV) vaccination. It covers the natural history of HPV infection, types of HPV, and HPV's relationship to cervical and other cancers. It describes the quadrivalent and bivalent HPV vaccines, who should receive them and common side effects. It addresses myths around HPV transmission and effectiveness of the vaccine for sexually active individuals or those outside the recommended age groups. Regular pap screening is still recommended along with the vaccine to have the greatest impact on reducing cervical cancer burden.

If you're not having sex, don't worry about it

20. Vaccine wont work if infected with HPV
 Vaccine prevents against other strains even if
infected with one or two strains
Contracting HPV doesn’t mean you will not get
again
 There are more than 100 strains of HPV. Having immunity
to a single strain doesn't preclude a person from being
infected with another.
