Sex Drugs And Roll Essay
Sex, drugs and rock and roll. These were the values of the young generation of the mid 1960 s. This
generation was pushing the limits of sexual, social, and political inhibitions and behind the force of
their hippie love was the engine of psychedelic rock and roll music. This genre of rock music is
inspired by the counterculture scene of the 1950 s and 60 s and attempts to capture the mind altering
feelings and emotions attached to psychedelic drugs. The first group to advertise themselves as
psychedelic rock was the 13th Floor Elevators from Texas, at the end of 1965. However, the
partnership of drugs and music goes back much further than that. The Beat Generation writers in the
second half of the 1950 s, such as William Burroughs, Jack Kerouac and Allen Ginsberg, used and
wrote about drugs like cannabis and Benzidrine, which popularized and raised more awareness of drug
use. The culture of drug use had long pervaded jazz ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In fact, the first psychedelic single to reach the US top ten charts in July 1966 was Psychotic Reaction
by Count Five who were a garage band in San Jose, California. And one of the most famous
psychedelic era bands, The Doors, arose out of Los Angeles. Many other cities outside of California
also contributed to the progression of psychedelic music, such as New York City, Detroit, Chicago,
and even Austin, Texas. Psychedelic music was also becoming more prominent in the UK around
1966. Bands like Pink Floyd, Traffic, Soft Machine, Cream, and The Jimi Hendrix Experience (lead
by an American, but initially produced and managed in Britain) were all incorporating more drug
references and psychedelic elements. For example, The Rolling Stones incorporated many psychedelic
hints into their hit singles 19th Nervous Breakdown and Paint It, Black , which made use of drones

The Voting System Of Democracy
Elections give people a voice in order to choose their representatives in the government.
Democracy is a system of government in which the governed votes to elect people to represent them
in the government. In a democracy, the people are exercising their power directly to vote for
propositions and measures that could create improvements for the country. Moreover, a democracy is
supposed to take into consideration the entire population and their opinion. However, not everyone in
the country is eligible to vote. The founding fathers established this kind of government in the U.S. in
order to have the people in power instead of a monarchy. Although they used this system, some of the
founding fathers feared that the majority would take over. Due to this, America found it essential that
elections had to be free and fair. With free and fair elections, the population s opinions are better
represented. Also, no one is restricted from having a voice, which allows them to be part of the
democracy. Free elections have a great significance because poor individuals will also have a voice.
Fair elections allow minorities to have an equal voice as others. Due to the voting process, American
elections are not free because people of color are spending too much time in long lines in voting
places who lack voting machines. The voting process also makes American elections less fair since the
ballots are complicated, making it easy for voters to make mistakes. The voting process makes

U.s. Economy s Economic Analysis
As indicated by the Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA), add up to generation in the U.S. economy
developed at a 2.1% clasp in the second from last quarter of 2015. In the second quarter, genuine
(GDP) was modified up to 3.9% development. There are a few issues with depending on GDP to gage
financial wellbeing, yet these are as yet promising signs for a nation battling through the slowest post
retreat recuperation in its history. Positive financial numbers just add to assumptions about a potential
loan fee climb by the Federal Reserve heading into 2016. The Fed has not raised loan costs since
before the Great Recession, and no one is sure how markets will respond when an expansion at long
last arrives. A groundbreaking 0.25 Fed stores rate climb is stand out test the U.S. economy confronts
as the new year approaches. Work constrain investment is still generally low. Government officials
keep on racking up gigantic shortages and back them with modest credit. Furthermore, the whole
worldwide money related framework is wavering since China s economy at last hindered following
quite a while of insatiable development. The accompanying are three difficulties that American
organizations and policymakers will probably stand up to in the coming year. The Fed s Difficult

The Effects of Long Term Space Flight
In the year 2121, Jay and his crew took flight into space. Jay s mission was to reach a potentially
habitable exoplanet, Proxima Centauri b, to colonize and recreate civilization after the nuclear
destruction of Earth in 2028. With years of planning and preparing, he gathered one hundred of the
brightest and healthiest men and women he could find and built a space craft that could travel at 0.8 of
the speed of light. With this speed, he calculated the estimated time of arrival to be around 2126. The
space craft is powered by the effective fusion reactor generator, in which a controlled fusion reaction
is performed releasing small amounts of antimatter. The massive ... Show more content on

The purpose of the immune system is to protect the body from the inside by eradicating certain
diseases before they are given the chance to spread or exacerbate. The lack of Earth s gravity
significantly simulates the process of aging, which is known to reduce the immune system.6 Since
humans naturally age regardless of traveling in space, this area of research proves to be a difficult field
to study. Fortunately, this process is accelerated in microgravity by a noticeable extent so some
observations that deviate from the normal deterioration of natural aging can be recorded. A NASA
researcher, Millie Hughes Fulford, has studied the specialized T cells, which quickly lose their
functionality as humans age or travel in microgravity.6 When diseases or infections are caught by the
immune system, the T cells are the group that fights and kills these foreign intruders. Without them,
the immune system has a higher risk of losing to the disease, which eventually leads to humans getting
sick.6 Along with Hughes Fulford s study on the T cells, NASA s integrated Immune and Clinical
Nutrition Assessment research groups have also done analysis on the concentration of cytokines.7
Cytokines are proteins that are vital to cell signaling and serve many different roles in the immune
system. By measuring the concentration of these proteins for 28 astronauts before and after traveling

Professor Ady
17 December 2014
Where Have All the Flowers Gone? Pete Seeger Pete Seeger was an American singer, song writer, and
activist. He used his music as a social commentary on what he witnessed during the 1960s.
Throughout this time, Seeger popularized many influential songs, many of which became popular
anthems for different movements, most notably We Shall Overcome. Seeger s songs were normally
protesting violence and war, as well as supporting the emerging counterculture and the environmental
movement that was seen during the 1960s. With all his music writing, Pete Seeger influenced many
other singer/song writers and left a lasting impression on the 60s. Born in Manhattan, Pete Seeger
grew up among an incredible talented, musical family. His father established the music department in
Berkley, as well as musical composition at Juliard (called the New York Institute of Musical Art at the
time). His mother taught violin at the school as well. All of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

He was active in the environmental movement, which was started and supported by Rachel Carson,
and was a huge supporter of Civil Rights, much like Dr. King. It seems as though Seeger was more
leaning toward the non violent side of protesting, having claimed to be a pacifist. This makes me feel
as though he was similar to Kurt Vonnegut, in that war seemed to be illogical in Slaughterhouse Five.
Seeger chose music as his medium of protest, instead of the written or spoken word. He worked with
artists like Bob Dylan, and his work pushed for the renewal of folk music in America, a genre of
music that persists until today with artists such as Jack Johnson, Rosanne Cash and Bruce Springsteen.
All of these artists have music identifiable as folk music, and were able to gain the noteriery they were
because Pete Seeger, among others, reintroduced the music into our

Compare And Contrast Donald Trump And Bernie Sanders

Miller Bernie Sanders versus Donald Trump Election year is upon the American public once again.
Time for televised debates between politicians clamoring for their party s spot on the presidential race.
Time for billboards and commercials attempting to garner public support and sympathy, and time for
issues facing the American public to be brought to the forefront of the American consciousness.
Amongst the many varied politicians attempting to run for president, two have been interesting
enough to try and compare and contrast between them: Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders. Donald

So then, what of the Democrat nominee he is being compared against? Bernie Sanders is currently
second behind Hillary Clinton in the polls yet he already has his own passionate following, with his
own agendas and positions on foreign policy, social issues, and the economy. Bernie s campaign so far
has been primarily regarding the economy, and his campaign neatly ties in the economy of the country
with its foreign policy and social issues. The most prominent of these issues that Sanders rails against
is obviously the inequality between the various classes in America, between the rich and the poor.
Sanders still addresses racial violence and LGBT rights on his main website, as is obvious given the
stance of the Democratic party as a whole on these issues, but class inequality is still the primary issue
of his campaign, at least until recently (BernieSanders). In a debate held in the Democratic town hall
of South Carolina, as reported by Daniel Marans of the Huffington Post, Sanders began to emphasize
racial issues in his campaign in an attempt to appeal to the minority vote similar to Clinton (The
Huffington Post). Previously, it can be assumed that any talk of racial or minority issues would have
eventually rounded back to economic inequality, as the two are often intertwined in practice. This
emphasis on the economy is the singular defining aspect of Sanders s political campaign and
everything else always ends up tying back into this. Sanders s foreign policy has been considered to be
quite sound, by sources such as U.S News, as it ties in the local and political spheres with the
economic ones (Ian Hurd). Sanders weighs the cost of each action, and how it will affect individuals
on the local economic level. Military intervention may serve American interests in the short run, but
what about the long term destabilization of the

Cleaning Gutter Guards Research
Tired Of Cleaning Clogged Gutters? Install Gutter Guards And Keep Leaves Out If scraping decaying
leaves out of your gutters is a job you hate, you should think about installing gutter guards. The guards
keep leaves out of the troughs while allowing rain to seep in, so your gutters work as intended. While
they don t make your gutters completely maintenance free, they do cut down on a lot of time and labor
spent cleaning your gutters. Here are a few things to know. Different Types Of Gutter Guards You can
buy different types of gutter guards. Some are screens of mesh or nylon that sit on top of the troughs.
Others are curved like a dome, so leaves slide off. Some guards fit inside the gutters. They are like
sponges or bristle brushes that allow water in, but keep leaves out. When choosing the type of guards
to put on your gutters, consider how they will affect the appearance of your house. The most visible
are the curved domes that sit on top of the troughs. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
If you have screens or bristle guards, you may be able to clean them by flushing them with water
while they are still in place. You ll have to remove domed guards so you can see inside the troughs.
The guards should snap on and off in large sections so you can remove them and hose them off in your
yard. With no piles of leaves clogging the troughs, small seeds and twigs should flush on through with
running water. Even though your gutters and the guards may not be clogged or have much debris in
them, it is still important to clean them occasionally. It is always a good idea to inspect your gutters
annually, and clean them if needed, to make sure they are working properly. If a limb falls on the
gutters or a raccoon messes around on your roof, one of the guards could become dislodged and allow
leaves in without you knowing it unless you inspect your gutter system

California Musical Instruments
Despite their failure to convert them religiously through music, the natives were left with a Spanish
influence because even after secularization they continued to use European instruments such as:
Violins, violas, and guitars (Ray and Engbeck 1974:16) and most stopped using native instruments.
Because of this neglect, there only remains fragmentary evidence outside of a few early ethnographies
and written descriptions of events in the California missions on native music, while several hundred
European style musical instruments were being played in California. (Ray and Engbeck 1974:15)

But the musicians and singers were in the worst position because their abilities proved to be nearly
useless outside of the missions their only realistic option was to stay in the parish churches. They did
not have the resources or supplies to survive in an agricultural environment, and their jobs were
completely unlike those that translated well into this new society physical labor jobs such as being a
vaquero or simply knowing how to work with animals and agriculture. This lack of easy transition to
the Mexican Californio society may have actually helped solidify Spanish influence over those
involved in mission music. This inability to survive outside of the missions forced them to continue
practicing their abilities in the parish churches, while some of them embraced their situations. This
was most true for the choristers who persevered in practicing their new religion and remained loyal to
the missions even after freed from the secularization (Sandos 2004:150). This dedication to the
missions was present over forty years after secularization in San Carlos Borromeo when

Because of his genius, the work of art was chosen as the symbol of the Republic of Florence. It was
carved in a huge block of marble that remained abandoned for more than forty years after suffering
damage just in its basis in a previous attempt (Michelangelo took advantage of that just creating an
empty espace between Davi s feet). Several artists had fought for the honor of doing that, including
Leonardo da Vinci and Andrea Sansovino. Michelangelo was responsible for the task due to its already
established reputation for brilliant sculptor because of his Bacchus and the Pieta. Michelangelo got
one of the most beautiful representations of the human body in the history of art. The sculpture
represents a colossal teenager, 16.9 feet in height.

Approximation Rule In Court Cases
When a custodial decision cannot be reached by a couple and is turned to a court to determine, a task
is given to the court to ensure that the best decision is made in the interest of the child. A court reaches
this by various methods of standard tests and evaluations that produce unpredictable results (Dolan
Hynan, 2014). There has been a recent suggestion by the American Law Institute called the
Approximation Rule . Under this proposal, recently divorced parents share of time within their
custody should be allocated to approximate the proportion of time each parent spends with the child
on a detailed list of childcare tasks prior to their divorce (Dolan Hynan, 2014). This assessment is
geared towards awarding custody rights to the parent

Dachau First Concentration Camp
Some might think that Auschwitz is the first concentration camp but, it s not Auschwitz is just the
most popular one. The first concentration camp to be operated was a camp named Dachau. Dachau
opened on March 22nd, 1933 it was meant to hold mostly German Communists or just political
opponents of the Nazis. Later, Jehovah s Witnesses, Roma (or Gypsies) , homosexuals and few Jews
were transferred into Dachau. In the first year of it opening it held 4,800 prisoners. It was not a death
camp, but 40,000 200,000 people were murdered, some died of disease and starvation. Dachau has
many things to talk about, like how many/ what kind of people Dachau had and what they did to them,
how it was run, and the history of Dachau. Dachau had about 4,800 people in the first year of
operating, by 1937, it held about 13,260 people. It was meant to hold political prisoners and not to
harm them, but it turned into a death camp, where countless people died from malnutrition, overwork,
and many were executed. These people consisted of artists, intellectuals, physically/mentally
handicapped, Jews, homosexuals and many more. All these people were seen unfit to be in society by
Hitler. The people that were in Dachau were used for slave labor to make German weaponry to be

The U.S. Border Patrol
In 1924, the U.S. Border Patrol started its service for our nation. Although changes have affected
nearly every aspect of its operations from its earliest days, the values; professionalism, honor,
integrity, respect for human life, and a shared effort, helped shape the Border Patrol from the early
years and they still remain the same today. Since the very beginning agents have been patrolling our
borders, Mounted watchmen of the U.S. Immigration Service patrolled the border in an effort to
prevent illegal crossings as early as 1904 (Border Patrol History, web). The agent s efforts were
undertaken only when resources permitted. The inspectors were all out of El Paso, Texas, Though they
never totaled more than seventy five, they patrolled as far west as California trying to restrict the flow
of illegal Chinese immigration (Border Patrol History, web). In 1915, Congress approved a separate
group of Mounted Guards, often called Mounted Inspectors. Most rode on horseback, but a few
operated cars and even boats. Although these inspectors had broader arrest authority, they still largely
pursued Chinese immigrants trying to avoid the Chinese exclusion laws. The agents were immigrant
inspectors, assigned to inspection stations, and could not watch the border at all times, Texas Rangers
were also often assigned to patrol duties by the state, and their efforts were noted as singularly
effective (Border Patrol History, web). Customs violations and intercepting communications to

Business Meeting Etiquette
Basic Meeting Etiquette
Abstract Meeting etiquette involves all participants and the leader having respect for each other.
Meetings should be purpose driven and focused. The leader establishes the direction and purpose the
listeners should be prepared to follow along or to provide inputs to that goal. By following etiquette
appropriate for the meeting setting, more resolutions may be accomplished in the allotted time. In a
perfect world, a group synergy may evolve to increase productivity.
Basic Meeting Etiquette

Do not interrupt interaction between group members as long as it is productive. However, direct away
from counterproductive inputs or negativity. The first responsibility is to be organized.
The group Leader, the person scheduling the meeting, and expected to chair the group, should provide
communication in the form of an Email or memo. The contents should state why the meeting is being
held, potential discussion and brief agenda. This correspondence with a few individuals along with
group announcements of what is going on and when the meeting is will give respect to the attendees
and give them time to formulate any inputs that they may have to offer.
The group leader should continue to be an example of business etiquette by being on time for the
meeting. Not only on time, but arrive a little early for the meeting to set up and go over the materials.
To make sure one is well prepared for the meeting before the attendees start arriving. This includes
having all materials, power point presentation as well as all equipment needed for the meeting.
Running around at the last second to get things set up is impolite. Preparedness demonstrates a respect
of others. When a leader is ready and well prepared, the meeting will flow well.
Additional aspects of preparation should include a prepared and perhaps revised written agenda

Persuasive Essay On Home Alone
Most people never thought of what it would be like to have your wish come true, and at the same time
having to face the scariest thing as a kid all in just two days. One thing is true for a fact that we do
love our family greatly, yet we all have taken our anger out on our family also by saying some things
that we probably shouldn t have, causing our emotions to take over and have no control over what
happens next. Therefore, in a film as a kid Kevin McCallister (a 9 year old) decides to take all his
anger out on his family after being name called and teased. His mom then sends him to the attic where
he then tells her that he hates his family, but that he also wishes to never see them again. His wish did,
in fact, come true, he was left home alone on Christmas Eve while his family was on vacation. The
thing is he has to face two robbers in an event of the battle of good vs. evil just to save his house, nor
does he have anyone to look up too. But does he? Having no family there makes it even harder, and
Kevin soon realizes that maybe his family is what matters most. This film is called Home Alone, In
the film Home Alone, the storyteller uses the archetype the hero s regrets and the mentor s advice to
illustrate that we as humans tend to say rude and hurtful things towards the people we love the most

the sea as the backdrop, many of the Player s performances were set, purposefully, at the sea. The
following year, the group met once more at the old Wharf now with a greater sense of direction and
organization fueled by the response their productions generated the year prior. Now newly renovated
(with the installation of electricity) and cleaned, the Wharf was ready to set the stage for the Players
first bill of three plays which sold out at 50 cents per ticket in no time. This proved a huge success and
led to a series of plays throughout the entire summer, all now performed at the Wharf Theatre. The
Players also caught the eyes of the media, and received rave reviews in the Chicago Post and the

Examples Of Liberalism In 1984
The heavy political climate in America s recent years has sparked an increase in popularity of George
Orwell s novel 1984. Not only is there controversy as to what Orwell depicts in the novel, but there is
also confusion and debate as to what we are seeing in our developing world presently. While it is easy
to hold strong beliefs on each end of the spectrum, it is necessary to take into account what we can
gain from both sides rather than limiting ourselves to one or the other. The articles provided give two
very different perspectives on the book, but what they have in common is extremity. This novel was
without a doubt intentionally written with an underlying message of extremity in terms of
conservatism and liberalism. I strongly believe that Orwell wrote 1984 with both ends of the spectrum
in mind to depict a world of radicalism in which chaos and absurdities are ever so present. ... Show

It is an extreme reminder that complete faith in government leads to blindness that strips each
individual of humanity and freedom. Nathan Schlueter author of The True Lessons of 1984 , defends
his conservative viewpoint through evidence found in the novel. Oceania s food rations, totalitarian
rule, and propaganda are prime examples of socialism in 1984. At one point in the novel, O Brien, the

Ultimately the purpose of all this would to give control and power to Big Brother which is a primary
sentiment of socialist totalitarianism. 1984 illustrates the worst of socialism and I think that it is

Organ Transplantation is a surgery that transfers an organ from one body to another and it is often the
last and only way for puzzle out an organ failure, Such as lung failure and heart failure. It is often very
expensive.
Background Information:
The history of organ transplant has a complex background. The first ever organ transplant happened in
1954 where a kidney transplants occurred. The donor of the kidney was an identical twin. Since they
are identical there were no immune rejections of the kidney. The person who performed this transplant
was named Dr. Joseph Murray won a Nobel Prize for his success. The first ever heart transplant was

A single lung transplant could cost a grand total of five hundred thousand USD. And among all the
types of organs they transplant, transplanting Intestine costs the most, about 1.2 million USD, Which
is very expensive. Not only it is expensive, it is hard to even get a hold of the organ, most people who
have a kidney failure often get the required organ from their love ones (if no rejection occurs) since it
is expensive. Other than that people need to wait for the organs. Averages of 10 people die a day
waiting for organs to be delivered. Because of that, many people often trade organs illegally for the
money. Organ trade is the trade involving inner organs like heart liver and kidney. Places that are
illegal for trading organs are Angola, Balkan Region, Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, Costa Rica,
Eastern Europe, India, United States of America, United Kingdom and Russia. Another Disadvantage

Comparing Articles on the September 11th Attack in Two...
In this essay I will analyse and compare a broadsheet and a tabloid newspaper article. I hope to be able
to find differences and similarities in both articles. The Sun, which is the tabloid paper, is more of a
gossip paper than The Times, which is full of news and sophisticated vocabulary. The article I have
chosen is about the service for the September 11th attack on the Twin Towers. I will concentrate on
looking at the language used and the descriptive element of the scene. This is very important because
both articles will aim to achieve an emotional response and in order to accomplish that, the scene must
be described in great detail. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The article tries to hit the reader emotionally in as many ways as possible. It does this by telling the
reader about families who lost loved ones and how they reacted. To put across the impact of
devastation, the writer writes about people who would not normally be associated with normal people.
The writer uses words like solemnly to describe the actions and feelings of famous people, such as Sir
Rudy Guiliani and Robert de Niro. Tabloids have always been known for the use of lots of pictures
and this article is no exception. The use of pictures helps to stress the grief of the people there. The
placement of the pictures is also important. There is an image of a policeman knelling and weeping
over a fallen colleague. This picture is to show that someone who keeps law and order and is not just a

The Secret Of The Truth
So if all of what you re saying is true; that you re not who we think you are. Then why would our
superiors put us on the case? When they know there s potential for us to uncover that secret? The
secret that you maintain is the truth. Cander propositions. It s all appearance. All an act, Jason answers
with a bit of anxious excitement in his voice. They pretend like they want people to keep living. They
pretend like they care what happens in the Pines. We are just spokes in the wheel, living in the system
he created. He doesn t view others as equals. That s why he doesn t share his name. You ever wonder
why it was so easy for you to find us? When Ichor claimed they were always looking? Because they
didn t look, they need us. They ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
We re just going to leave him here? a confused Greene asks. Something s not right. Cander responds. I
know. You just left our suspect behind. No, something is not right about what he is saying. Then why
are we leaving? Greene asks. To which Cander doesn t respond, he turns to walk away. Cander!
Greene yells. I just need time to think. You heard him, he s not going anywhere. Cander continues
walking away. Greene reluctantly follows him. Inside the Ichor headquarters Cander is seated at his
desk, silent in thought. Greene is seated at a nearby desk, shuffling through papers and photos.
Restless and annoyed, Greene drops the papers on her desk. I m sorry. But what are we still doing
here? she says fiercely. Cander doesn t respond, still entranced in his thoughts. Cander. He admitted to
everything, his reasoning doesn t matter if his actions are illegal. Everything else is just a story. Did
you ever wonder why some stories stay with us? Cander asks, as a puzzled Greene shakes her head,
mystified as to what this pertains to. A select few have survived for generations, while countless others
have dissipated over time, he continues thinking aloud. The ideals within them; they remind us of who
we are. And they guide us to solutions. Well times are always changing, especially now. What worked
in prior times can t work now. Our world has changed too much from the past. Greene answers, trying
to form some clarity. But we don t, Cander

Romeo And Juliet Pyramus And Thisbe Essay
Many people have heard or read about Romeo and Juliet. There are also people who have heard or
read about Pyramus and Thisbe. There are many arguments claiming that both stories are very similar
and that there are hardly any differences but that is not true. Here are some similarities and differences
between these stories. Romeo and Juliet have a different plot compared to Pyramus and Thisbe.
Romeo and Juliet fall in love with each other but unfortunately their parents hate each other. There are
two separate groups, one is called Capulet and the other is called Montague. They try to find a way to
meet each other and get married. Pyramus and Thisbe have a similar yet different plot at the same
time. Pyramus and Thisbe live right next to each other and love each ... Show more content on

Then one day they decide they had enough and decided to meet each other privately. The
characteristic between Romeo and Juliet is also very like Pyramus and Thisbe. Romeo is very brave
and would do anything to see or meet Juliet. Juliet is very obedient, quiet, and innocent. We may have
thought that Juliet is very shy but that doesn t seem to be the case as when she meets Romeo she
speaks as much as Romeo and they kissed twice. Pyramus is also very brave and talks as much as
Romeo. Thisbe is also very like Juliet and loves Pyramus so much. Pyramus is very ignorant as when
he sees a piece of Thisbe s cloth he immediately presumes that an animal killed her and he kills
himself. The same goes for Romeo as when he sees that Juliet is dead he also takes his own life. Juliet
and Thisbe also take their own life when they see that their love is dead. The conflict is also very like
Pyramus and Thisbe. Romeo and Juliet are both from different groups. One group is called Capulet
and the other is called Montague. Romeo is from the Montague while Juliet is from Capulet and this
causes a lot of trouble for both. The Capulets don t get along with the Montagues and if they ever see
Romeo with Juliet he would surely

As you know by now, I am a firm believer in body weight exercises, or what I like to call REAL
exercises.
What does this mean?
Well, based on my experience, I find that too many people tend to take the easy way out when it
comes to the exercise they do to try and lose their unwanted body fat.
A perfect example is that mystery machine that seems to be so popular, called the Elliptical Trainer.
Body weight exercises can beat this type of exercise hands down in many ways. For example, it s been
proven that the movement that is replicated by one of these elliptical trainers is unique unto itself, and
doesn t mirror any natural movement that the human body performs on a regular basis. In other words,
doing a regular workout on one of these machines is like practicing your golf swing for hours upon
hours and then going out and playing a game of soccer, hoping that those practice sessions will help
your game!
Plus, let s face it, once you get on the machine and get it moving, you re pretty much just going
through the motions

Langhorne History
The modern history of Langhorne can be traced to a house built by Jack Alexander during the 1600s.
However, the area was sparsely populated until the first quarter of the 18th century. As traffic on the
road between Philadelphia and Trenton increased, the community that would become Langhorne
became a transportation hub for the stagecoach line. Originally, the community was known as Four
Lanes End before its name was changed to Attleborough. When the village was incorporated in 1876,
the name was changed to Langhorne in honor of an early resident, Jeremiah Langhorne. There are
several sites in and around Langhorne that are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. With
so many historic buildings, property owners are proactive about ... Show more content on

However, modern buildings are also at risk. Termites feed on wood, so any structure with wood
siding, wood studs in the walls, wood floor joists or any other component that attracts termites can fall
victim to an infestation. Unfortunately, termite infestations can go undiscovered for many years, and
by the time that termites are identified, they may have caused thousands of dollars in damage.
Whether you own a residential or commercial property, you will need expert, effective treatment to
eliminate termites and prevent additional damage. Bed Bug Control Once thought eradicated in the
United States, bed bugs have made a comeback in recent years. Contrary to what some people believe,
bed bugs are seldom a reflection on the cleanliness of the property. Bed bugs have been found in
expensive hotels, upscale boutiques, hospitals and airplanes as well as movie theaters, taxis and
libraries. They may be brought home from a cruise or a train ride. Bed bugs are difficult to see and are
quite reclusive. If you suspect that bed bugs have invaded your home or business, contact an
experienced pest control professional to help you reclaim your peace of mind. Rodent

The Key Of Effective Leadership
The Key to Effective Leadership Insights Gained I have ascertained that utilizing mental models, I can
understand why and how different people on the same team process similar occurrences in a different
manner. A mental model is a set of ideas and assumptions that you carry in your head (Bolman, Deal,
2013, p. 10). These mental models that we rely on as an interpretation, influence our understanding of
world and organizational events, because they reflect our current mind sets. For example, a mental
model that is prevalent in the army, is that your appearance reflects your potential. This may cause
others to judge soldiers initially, by their appearance. If they are overweight, or their appearance looks
disheveled, they are often initially seen as being undisciplined. Changing our mental models can
directly change our understanding of events, because we can perceive things differently, and also then
identify other root causes, or resolutions. In my example, if one realizes that a newly assigned soldier
may not be completely situated in a home and community as yet, that perhaps they do not have access
to the resources that they may need, to present the best appearance, such as a good barber. A leader
could recognize this as a need to provide more community familiarization, or access to resources. By
exploring mental, models Senge (2006) recognizes that one can create a reflection in the work
environment and, by doing so, encourage a more open discussion, and expose the

Justice In Plato s The Republic Essay
Justice In Plato s The Republic
Ralph Waldo Emerson once wrote One man s justice is another s injustice. This statement quite
adequately describes the relation between definitions of justice presented by Polemarchus and
Thrasymachus in Book I of the Republic. Polemarchus initially asserts that justice is to give to each
what is owed (Republic 331d), a definition he picked up from Simonides. Then, through the
unrelenting questioning of Socrates, Polemarchus definition evolves into doing good to friends and
harm to enemies (Republic 332d), but this definition proves insufficient to Socrates also. Eventually,
the two agree that it is never just to harm anyone (Republic 335d). This definition is fundamental to
the idea of a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Although he leaves no room for the common good in his definition, his life seems to allow for some
common good. This is based on his profession as an educator, whose job it is to share knowledge with
others and on his willingness to remain a contributing part of the discussion going on at the house of
Polemarchus
To determine which of these two definitions gives a better account of the good life it is necessary to
establish what this good life is. According to Socrates in the Apology it is the greatest good for a man
to discuss virtue every day ... for the unexamined life is not worth living (38d). What this statement
implies is that to live a good life we must first question and ponder our own ideas of a good life and
then do the same with other peoples ideas. In this sense Polemarchus s definition of justice most
closely fits the good life because he allows for a common good that would result from examining the
ideas of others and the sharing of information.
To further display that Polemarchus definition of justice gives a better account of the good life I put
forth my own definition of the good life . I have come to conclude through the lessons life has taught
me thus far that the good life is one composed of love and understanding. Love of one s self because
with this I can maintain a sound mind and body, but without it I cannot love others. Love of family

Rasu De La Méduse
A. Le Radeau de la Méduse or The Raft of the Medusa in English is a French romantic painting by
Théodore Géricault. It was painted in 1819. Its dimensions are 491 cm × 716 cm. It s painted on
canvas using oil paint. The painting seems to display about 15 men (still alive) struggle to survive and
finding help on the raft in the ocean where the waves and winds appear to be strong. Some of the men
in the painting are already dead. Also, the raft appears to be stable in the center but along the ends
seems to be falling apart. Therefore, maybe they ve been at sea for a while. Many of the men are also
center towards the middle of the painting so your eyes will be drawn to the center.

Elizabethan Era Dbq Essay
The Elizabethan Era took place from 1558 to 1603. The Elizabethan era is also known as the Golden
age and was during Elizabeth I reign. This epoch in English history witnessed many threats and
changes in the tide of social, political and artistic life in England. This epoch was during the time of
the Renaissance and was an age of exploration and expansion abroad. This was the last period before
England joined a union with Scotland. Elizabeth I was Queen of England and Ireland from 17th
November 1558 until her death in 1603. She was also known as The Virgin Queen or Good Queen

Ku Klux Klan Influence
Various inhabitants of the US have a sense of nationalism and American pride within their souls and
hearts. However, in a particular case of US history, this very pride lead to a radical nationalist
organization that was able to recruit a phenomenal 5,000,000 members, lynch thousands of innocent
minorities, break national news, dominate the American legislature, break fear into millions of
individuals, and ultimately still exist today. This group is identified as none other but the infamous Ku
Klux Klan. A ruthless and widespread organization in the United States that successfully illuminated
itself as being 100% American in the late 19th century and to date. In an illustration, the reason for the
KKK s dominance in the turning points of America ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The very first set of these measures was violent and killed many in the process, and in this case, the
actions were against primarily Blacks and minorities. The first acts of brutality included lynchings
ranging anywhere from tens to hundred of Blacks. A prime example of such behavior occurred in
January 1871, when 500 masked men attacked a union jail and lynched over 8 Black men while
leaving others severely injured ( Ku Klux Klan ). In other cases, the KKK would attack and attempt to
assassinate Blacks in the American legislature in an effort to bring back pure White dominance that
existed before reconstruction. Furthermore, the KKK would outright commit homicide to minorities in
the US, and as a result, it is estimated that the Klan murdered nearly 1,000 Blacks in Texas alone due
to the klan s actions. Likewise, it was also not uncommon for the Klan to kill Jews, Catholics, and
immigrants (Schuyler). Lastly, the Klan also participated in night raids. In this case, the group would
go out at night and attack the properties of mainly Blacks and supporters of Reconstruction. The
Klansmen disguised themselves in white robes which hid their identity along with the mass of the
crowd. Also, because of the anonymity, tracking individuals down

Native American Boarding Schools Research Paper
Native American Boarding Schools
America remembers what it did to its Black slaves and is sorry. America remembers what happened to
the Jews in Europe and says never again. America refuses to remember what it has done to Native
people, it wants to forget the lies and the slaughter. ( Reservation Boarding Schools ). From 1878
1978, Native American children were taken from their families and homes to boarding schools that
stripped them of everything they were raised to believe. Schools today do not teach much on the topic
of Native American boarding schools, so students either know nothing about them or very little.
The first and most famous boarding school was in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. It opened in 1878 and was
run by Richard Pratt. ( Remembering Our Indian... ). Pratt forced students to live with good white
families for at least part of the year to see the type of character they are supposed to have. The
boarding school in Carlisle lasted until voices of opposition finally began to rise and voices of support
wilted. Pratt lived from 1840 1924 running his school and publicly speaking his thoughts and
viewpoints on the topic. ( Reservation Boarding Schools ).

Wright was sent to a boarding school when he was just six years old. He tells first hand about the
awful things that the Native children went through. Wright remembers being bathed in kerosene and
having his head shaved when he first arrived at school. ( American Indian Boarding... ). There are very
similar stories from many Native Americans that remember their days there. Although the numbers of
alive people that attended schools are dwindling, many people are still out there sharing their

Essay Dead Sea Scrolls
Dead Sea Scrolls The Dead Sea Scrolls are a group of 800 900 manuscripts found in caves at Qumran
east of Jerusalem and north west of the Dead Sea. The first scrolls were discovered in 1947 by a
shepherd boy who wandered into a cave after a stray goat. The texts are believed to have been hidden
in eleven caves for safe keeping prior to the destruction of Rome in A.D.70. The scrolls are a
collection of biblical and non biblical documents comprising of the Hebrew Bible, (every book except
Esther); the Apocrypha and Pseudepigrapha; rules for community life; biblical commentaries; a
Testimonia, (a collection of verses from the Bible about the Messiah); a War Scroll; Temple Scroll;

This discovery shows the extraordinary accuracy between the two sets of manuscripts. The texts are
believed to have been written by a strict Jewish sect called the Essenes. This religious community led
by one they called the Teacher of Righteousness lived a demanding routine of self discipline. Their
interpretation of the law was severe, they held fellowship meals to which admission was closely
guarded. They interpreted prophetic scripture as referring to events of their own day and believed that
they had an important part to play in the hope of Israel. 2
HOW MUCH CAN THEY HELP US UNDERSTAND THE NEW TESTAMENT? The dead sea
scrolls offer unique information from a time during the second temple period when Jewish religious
and political life in Palestine was full of corruption and conflict. There were three main Jewish groups
during this time; the Pharisees, the Sadducees and the Essenes. It has also been confirmed that there
were many other groups and movements in Secondary Temple Judaism. It is now evident that Judaism
in the land of Israel was open to Greek influences from the 3rd century onwards in the areas of
language, economics, military strategy, politics, culture and religion .3 The scrolls shed light on the
time when Jesus and John the Baptist lived and the beliefs of the early Christians. We are given
information on the way things were at that time; the laws of the day, things that Jesus and the apostles

Money Expended In Electoral Campaigns
It is a reality universally agreed upon that there is a baseless aggregate of wealth that is expended in
electoral campaigns in the United States of America. One does not need to investigate any further than
the previous federal election, where the unmitigated sum of affluence was greater than the vox populi
of Earth, to comprehend the actuality that the immersion of money in politics has developed into a
concern that must be amended. Furthermore, if this issue is permitted to continue, then the entire
American campaign system remains tainted due to the fact that the politician with more wealth is able
to propagandize better. It is essential that the regulations of campaign finance are reformed in the
United States; for in modern politics, money has an abundant amount of influence and sway over
individual votes, which in turn abolishes political equality. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

Subsequently, they must then design the qualifications for campaigns for all the politicians. By doing
so, money has a reduced influence over voters for they are not being impinged on by advertising as
much as before. Also, this election commission should limit the overall amount of affluence one can
disburse; however, the extent of money one could expend would vary (i.e. a candidate in a federal
election is allowed to utilize more wealth than a candidate in a state level election). Consequently, not
only would this ruling reduce the unjustified sum consumed in every election, but it would also

  • 2. Sex Drugs And Roll Essay Sex, drugs and rock and roll. These were the values of the young generation of the mid 1960 s. This generation was pushing the limits of sexual, social, and political inhibitions and behind the force of their hippie love was the engine of psychedelic rock and roll music. This genre of rock music is inspired by the counterculture scene of the 1950 s and 60 s and attempts to capture the mind altering feelings and emotions attached to psychedelic drugs. The first group to advertise themselves as psychedelic rock was the 13th Floor Elevators from Texas, at the end of 1965. However, the partnership of drugs and music goes back much further than that. The Beat Generation writers in the second half of the 1950 s, such as William Burroughs, Jack Kerouac and Allen Ginsberg, used and wrote about drugs like cannabis and Benzidrine, which popularized and raised more awareness of drug use. The culture of drug use had long pervaded jazz ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In fact, the first psychedelic single to reach the US top ten charts in July 1966 was Psychotic Reaction by Count Five who were a garage band in San Jose, California. And one of the most famous psychedelic era bands, The Doors, arose out of Los Angeles. Many other cities outside of California also contributed to the progression of psychedelic music, such as New York City, Detroit, Chicago, and even Austin, Texas. Psychedelic music was also becoming more prominent in the UK around 1966. Bands like Pink Floyd, Traffic, Soft Machine, Cream, and The Jimi Hendrix Experience (lead by an American, but initially produced and managed in Britain) were all incorporating more drug references and psychedelic elements. For example, The Rolling Stones incorporated many psychedelic hints into their hit singles 19th Nervous Breakdown and Paint It, Black , which made use of drones and ... • 3. The Voting System Of Democracy Elections give people a voice in order to choose their representatives in the government. Democracy is a system of government in which the governed votes to elect people to represent them in the government. In a democracy, the people are exercising their power directly to vote for propositions and measures that could create improvements for the country. Moreover, a democracy is supposed to take into consideration the entire population and their opinion. However, not everyone in the country is eligible to vote. The founding fathers established this kind of government in the U.S. in order to have the people in power instead of a monarchy. Although they used this system, some of the founding fathers feared that the majority would take over. Due to this, America found it essential that elections had to be free and fair. With free and fair elections, the population s opinions are better represented. Also, no one is restricted from having a voice, which allows them to be part of the democracy. Free elections have a great significance because poor individuals will also have a voice. Fair elections allow minorities to have an equal voice as others. Due to the voting process, American elections are not free because people of color are spending too much time in long lines in voting places who lack voting machines. The voting process also makes American elections less fair since the ballots are complicated, making it easy for voters to make mistakes. The voting process makes American ... Economy s Economic Analysis As indicated by the Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA), add up to generation in the U.S. economy developed at a 2.1% clasp in the second from last quarter of 2015. In the second quarter, genuine (GDP) was modified up to 3.9% development. There are a few issues with depending on GDP to gage financial wellbeing, yet these are as yet promising signs for a nation battling through the slowest post retreat recuperation in its history. Positive financial numbers just add to assumptions about a potential loan fee climb by the Federal Reserve heading into 2016. The Fed has not raised loan costs since before the Great Recession, and no one is sure how markets will respond when an expansion at long last arrives. A groundbreaking 0.25 Fed stores rate climb is stand out test the U.S. economy confronts as the new year approaches. Work constrain investment is still generally low. Government officials keep on racking up gigantic shortages and back them with modest credit. Furthermore, the whole worldwide money related framework is wavering since China s economy at last hindered following quite a while of insatiable development. The accompanying are three difficulties that American organizations and policymakers will probably stand up to in the coming year. Jay s mission was to reach a potentially habitable exoplanet, Proxima Centauri b, to colonize and recreate civilization after the nuclear destruction of Earth in 2028. With years of planning and preparing, he gathered one hundred of the brightest and healthiest men and women he could find and built a space craft that could travel at 0.8 of the speed of light. With this speed, he calculated the estimated time of arrival to be around 2126. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The purpose of the immune system is to protect the body from the inside by eradicating certain diseases before they are given the chance to spread or exacerbate. The lack of Earth s gravity significantly simulates the process of aging, which is known to reduce the immune system.6 Since humans naturally age regardless of traveling in space, this area of research proves to be a difficult field to study. Fortunately, this process is accelerated in microgravity by a noticeable extent so some observations that deviate from the normal deterioration of natural aging can be recorded. A NASA researcher, Millie Hughes Fulford, has studied the specialized T cells, which quickly lose their functionality as humans age or travel in microgravity.6 When diseases or infections are caught by the immune system, the T cells are the group that fights and kills these foreign intruders. Without them, the immune system has a higher risk of losing to the disease, which eventually leads to humans getting sick.6 Along with Hughes Fulford s study on the T cells, NASA s integrated Immune and Clinical Nutrition Assessment research groups have also done analysis on the concentration of cytokines.7 Cytokines are proteins that are vital to cell signaling and serve many different roles in the immune system. By measuring the concentration of these proteins for 28 astronauts before and after traveling in space, researchers ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 6. Where Have All The Flowers Gone Analysis Maggie Schelleng 1960s Literature Final Paper Professor Ady 17 December 2014 Where Have All the Flowers Gone? Pete Seeger Pete Seeger was an American singer, song writer, and activist. He used his music as a social commentary on what he witnessed during the 1960s. Throughout this time, Seeger popularized many influential songs, many of which became popular anthems for different movements, most notably We Shall Overcome. Seeger s songs were normally protesting violence and war, as well as supporting the emerging counterculture and the environmental movement that was seen during the 1960s. With all his music writing, Pete Seeger influenced many other singer/song writers and left a lasting impression on the 60s. Born in Manhattan, Pete Seeger grew up among an incredible talented, musical family. His father established the music department in Berkley, as well as musical composition at Juliard (called the New York Institute of Musical Art at the time). His mother taught violin at the school as well. All of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... He was active in the environmental movement, which was started and supported by Rachel Carson, and was a huge supporter of Civil Rights, much like Dr. King. It seems as though Seeger was more leaning toward the non violent side of protesting, having claimed to be a pacifist. This makes me feel as though he was similar to Kurt Vonnegut, in that war seemed to be illogical in Slaughterhouse Five. Seeger chose music as his medium of protest, instead of the written or spoken word. He worked with artists like Bob Dylan, and his work pushed for the renewal of folk music in America, a genre of music that persists until today with artists such as Jack Johnson, Rosanne Cash and Bruce Springsteen. All of these artists have music identifiable as folk music, and were able to gain the noteriery they were because Pete Seeger, among others, reintroduced the music into our ... • 7. Compare And Contrast Donald Trump And Bernie Sanders Drustin Cole March 4, 2016 ENGL 1010 Miller Bernie Sanders versus Donald Trump Election year is upon the American public once again. Time for televised debates between politicians clamoring for their party s spot on the presidential race. Time for billboards and commercials attempting to garner public support and sympathy, and time for issues facing the American public to be brought to the forefront of the American consciousness. Amongst the many varied politicians attempting to run for president, two have been interesting enough to try and compare and contrast between them: Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders. Donald Trump is the current front runner of the Republican Party, whilst Sanders ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... So then, what of the Democrat nominee he is being compared against? Bernie Sanders is currently second behind Hillary Clinton in the polls yet he already has his own passionate following, with his own agendas and positions on foreign policy, social issues, and the economy. Bernie s campaign so far has been primarily regarding the economy, and his campaign neatly ties in the economy of the country with its foreign policy and social issues. The most prominent of these issues that Sanders rails against is obviously the inequality between the various classes in America, between the rich and the poor. Sanders still addresses racial violence and LGBT rights on his main website, as is obvious given the stance of the Democratic party as a whole on these issues, but class inequality is still the primary issue of his campaign, at least until recently (BernieSanders). In a debate held in the Democratic town hall of South Carolina, as reported by Daniel Marans of the Huffington Post, Sanders began to emphasize racial issues in his campaign in an attempt to appeal to the minority vote similar to Clinton (The Huffington Post). Previously, it can be assumed that any talk of racial or minority issues would have eventually rounded back to economic inequality, as the two are often intertwined in practice. This emphasis on the economy is the singular defining aspect of Sanders s political campaign and everything else always ends up tying back into this. Sanders s foreign policy has been considered to be quite sound, by sources such as U.S News, as it ties in the local and political spheres with the economic ones (Ian Hurd). Sanders weighs the cost of each action, and how it will affect individuals on the local economic level. Military intervention may serve American interests in the short run, but what about the long term destabilization of the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 8. Cleaning Gutter Guards Research Tired Of Cleaning Clogged Gutters? Install Gutter Guards And Keep Leaves Out If scraping decaying leaves out of your gutters is a job you hate, you should think about installing gutter guards. The guards keep leaves out of the troughs while allowing rain to seep in, so your gutters work as intended. While they don t make your gutters completely maintenance free, they do cut down on a lot of time and labor spent cleaning your gutters. Here are a few things to know. Different Types Of Gutter Guards You can buy different types of gutter guards. Some are screens of mesh or nylon that sit on top of the troughs. Others are curved like a dome, so leaves slide off. Some guards fit inside the gutters. They are like sponges or bristle brushes that allow water in, but keep leaves out. When choosing the type of guards to put on your gutters, consider how they will affect the appearance of your house. The most visible are the curved domes that sit on top of the troughs. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... If you have screens or bristle guards, you may be able to clean them by flushing them with water while they are still in place. You ll have to remove domed guards so you can see inside the troughs. The guards should snap on and off in large sections so you can remove them and hose them off in your yard. With no piles of leaves clogging the troughs, small seeds and twigs should flush on through with running water. Even though your gutters and the guards may not be clogged or have much debris in them, it is still important to clean them occasionally. It is always a good idea to inspect your gutters annually, and clean them if needed, to make sure they are working properly. If a limb falls on the gutters or a raccoon messes around on your roof, one of the guards could become dislodged and allow leaves in without you knowing it unless you inspect your gutter system ... California Musical Instruments Despite their failure to convert them religiously through music, the natives were left with a Spanish influence because even after secularization they continued to use European instruments such as: Violins, violas, and guitars (Ray and Engbeck 1974:16) and most stopped using native instruments. Because of this neglect, there only remains fragmentary evidence outside of a few early ethnographies and written descriptions of events in the California missions on native music, while several hundred European style musical instruments were being played in California. But the musicians and singers were in the worst position because their abilities proved to be nearly useless outside of the missions their only realistic option was to stay in the parish churches. They did not have the resources or supplies to survive in an agricultural environment, and their jobs were completely unlike those that translated well into this new society physical labor jobs such as being a vaquero or simply knowing how to work with animals and agriculture. This lack of easy transition to the Mexican Californio society may have actually helped solidify Spanish influence over those involved in mission music. Persuasive Essay On Home Alone Most people never thought of what it would be like to have your wish come true, and at the same time having to face the scariest thing as a kid all in just two days. One thing is true for a fact that we do love our family greatly, yet we all have taken our anger out on our family also by saying some things that we probably shouldn t have, causing our emotions to take over and have no control over what happens next. Therefore, in a film as a kid Kevin McCallister (a 9 year old) decides to take all his anger out on his family after being name called and teased. His mom then sends him to the attic where he then tells her that he hates his family, but that he also wishes to never see them again. His wish did, in fact, come true, he was left home alone on Christmas Eve while his family was on vacation. The thing is he has to face two robbers in an event of the battle of good vs. evil just to save his house, nor does he have anyone to look up too. But does he? Having no family there makes it even harder, and Kevin soon realizes that maybe his family is what matters most. This film is called Home Alone, In the film Home Alone, the storyteller uses the archetype the hero s regrets and the mentor s advice to illustrate that we as humans tend to say rude and hurtful things towards the people we love the most when we are angry because we don t appreciate what we have until we lose it, and we don t realize how thankful we are for our family until something happens where we need ... Not only is there controversy as to what Orwell depicts in the novel, but there is also confusion and debate as to what we are seeing in our developing world presently. The articles provided give two very different perspectives on the book, but what they have in common is extremity. The Key Of Effective Leadership The Key to Effective Leadership Insights Gained I have ascertained that utilizing mental models, I can understand why and how different people on the same team process similar occurrences in a different manner. A mental model is a set of ideas and assumptions that you carry in your head (Bolman, Deal, 2013, p. 10). These mental models that we rely on as an interpretation, influence our understanding of world and organizational events, because they reflect our current mind sets. For example, a mental model that is prevalent in the army, is that your appearance reflects your potential. This may cause others to judge soldiers initially, by their appearance. If they are overweight, or their appearance looks disheveled, they are often initially seen as being undisciplined. Changing our mental models can directly change our understanding of events, because we can perceive things differently, and also then identify other root causes, or resolutions. In my example, if one realizes that a newly assigned soldier may not be completely situated in a home and community as yet, that perhaps they do not have access to the resources that they may need, to present the best appearance, such as a good barber. A leader could recognize this as a need to provide more community familiarization, or access to resources.
