Dreamland Analysis
Dreamland Discussion Two The second reading of Dreamland continued telling the story of the
heroin drug dealer, Enrique and brought the Oxycontin epidemic in the United States to the
forefront.
As I read about the journal that Porter and Jick wrote in the New England Journal of Medicine, I
was shocked and appalled that no one in the medical community disputed the claim that the level of
addiction in these opioids was low. I find it hard to believe that no one in the medical community
stepped up and opposed these irresponsible claims. As I continued to read about Enrique, my
conflicted feelings about him continued to grow. I felt this way because everything he was doing
was to help his family, however it is so hard to overlook how many people s

The Case Of Roe V. Wade
On January 23, 1973, the landmark case Roe v. Wade established a new law that would change
women s rights for years to come. This controversial case made it legal to have an abortion,
which made it safer for women around the country. In 1972, a year before Roe v. Wade, there
were approximately 587,000 illegal abortions performed (Roe v. Wade). These abortions were
highly dangerous because they lacked medical equipment and a trained professional. In some
instances, the mother could even die from the procedure. As a feminist, I believe women should
have the right to their own body and therefore I believe the government should keep the decision
of Roe v. Wade. In this paper, I will discuss the court case of Roe v. Wade, personal stories of

However, the Act does not cover medicine for a safe abortion. Businesses who provide
healthcare to their employees have purposely not included women s reproductive health because
of their views on abortion. If the owner or manager doesn t believe in abortion, they are more
likely not to include women s reproductive health on their health care, even though abortions are
not covered in the Act (Roe v. Wade and its Effects of Society). This means that female workers
are not provided with medical care they need because their manager disagrees with a choice not
provided in the Act that gives women basic health needs. To me, health care should be a right,
and not giving it to your employers because of your views is unconstitutional. If having an
abortion is legal, why does the government not cover it in health acts? Even 37 years later,
abortion is still a taboo subject that rears its ugly head in politics. Before abortions were legalized
in 1973, many women put it upon themselves to get rid of an unwanted pregnancy. Any illegal
abortion performed was a dangerous decision made by the mother. During the 1950 s an estimated
200,000 abortions took place illegally (The Impact of Illegal Abortion). There are many health risks
with having an illegal abortion including: severe bleeding, abdominal trauma, rupturing of the
uterus, and in some cases, even death. In 1972, a

We had numerous required crew planning meetings to plan for the expedition, to pick our
itinerary based on the mileage and activities while on the trail, to elect crew leaders and to plan
to procure crew and personal gear. Since we had to carry lot of weight which included personal
gear, food for 3 4 days and 4 5 liters of water, we had to plan and buy personal gear that did not
take up too much volume and heavy, so there was enough room and weight available to carry the
crew and Philmont gear, which included tent, clothes line, 3 stoves, fuel tanks, cooking pot/pan,
rope, bear bags, tent stakes, trowel/shovel, dining fly, toilet paper, iodine tablets for water
filtration, collapsible water jugs, etc. We met again in January and March to finalize the details
of what we were expected to carry, to elect crew leaders, quartermaster and crew guide; we also
went over trip planning and other details. I was elected the Wilderness Guia (Spanish for guide)
for the crew, which involves helping the crew understand the principles of the Philmont
Wilderness Pledge, following the leave no trace principle while on the trail, and ensuring that
campsites are left clean. I also read the handbook for Philmont which covered the safety
measures, necessary gear, and rules to abide while on the trip. I reviewed the Philmont website
for information on do/don ts, what to expect, physical fitness and conditioning required to take
such a strenuous hike and how to prepare for the trip. Philmont participants are required to be
physically prepared to carry a 35 to 50 pound pack over steep, rocky trails at elevations ranging
from 6,500 to 12,500 feet. This requires a regular program of physical conditioning for at least
three to six months prior to taking a trek is essential. So, my dad and I started to go on a 6+ mile

Cabaret Of Freedom
Maya really values her freedom, and the one of all Blacks. That is why she fight for their
equality. An example of this, is when she left Make because he wanted her to be a traditional
wife. Maya, who already had little money for her and her son, decided to put all her time and
effort into the Cabaret of Freedom. What had started as an idea between friends became an
important even because of her investment. She quit everything she had been doing to organize,
pick the cast and the theater, and she even requested to take care of addressing the envelopes.
During that time, she was not working, so her son was the only income source, and her friend lent
her money for rent. She said : This is important. It s for Martin L. King, for the SCLC, for black...

The World Wide Web consists of a collection of electronic documents in the form of web pages.
These web pages have unique addresses called URL s that show where to locate the web page on
the World Wide Web. This essay will examine various definitions of URL s and cookies, and why a

Definitions of URL and why an analyst should care about its importance.
A URL (Universal Resource Locator) is defined, according to contests.about.com, as the other
name for a web address or the text that a web visitor types into their internet browser when visiting
a website. [1]. Contests.about.com, states further that once the web visitor provides the browser
with a URL, it can find where to go in locating the web page that wants to be visited. The web
page symbolizes the resource that the browser is trying to locate with a URL. Webopedia.com,
defines a URL as the global address of available documents and other resources on the world wide
web. [2]. Webopedia.com elaborates further that the first part of a URL is known as a protocol
identifier and it indicates what protocol to use, and the second part is the resource name and it
specifies the IP address or the domain name where the resource is located. A URL is the address

The Carlton Family Analysis
The Carlton family is your average, everyday family. Carl and Carla Carlton live in Topeka,
Kansas with their four year old daughter, Carly. Carly isn t exactly your ordinary child. She is just
a little rambunctious. This makes everyday tasks a little more difficult.
It s Thanksgiving morning, and Carla needs to prepare for their dinner. Since Carly is so
boisterous, Carl is sent out unattended to pick up the perfect pumpkin for a perfect pumpkin pie.
As he s driving to the Topeka pumpkin patch, he sees a really cheap pumpkin vendor on the side
of the road. He thinks a dollar for a pumpkin is a steal! He drives home satisfied with his purchase.
When Carl arrives home, Carla is ready to make her pumpkin pie. Carla is fulfilled with her

BOOM!
Carly broke a vase.
Carla takes a deep breath and places the knife on the table. She sweeps the sharp, ceramic shards
off of the floor. Carly, driven towards the luminescent pumpkin, skips over to it and takes a bite out
of the side. Carla doesn t seem to notice Carly is near the pumpkin. Carly rushes to her mother s
side, and apologizes for the mess she made. Carla doesn t think a thing of it until she notices Carly
has a sinister gleam to her eyes. Carla accepts the apology, and decides to ignore Carly s facial
expression. Carly offers help, and Carla accepts.
They return to the table. Carla doesn t know what to do. Her pumpkin pie is everyone s favorite
dessert at Thanksgiving dinner. She decides to cut it open, no matter the consequences. She picks
up the blade once again, and Carly does the same. Carla draws near the pumpkin, while the light
and rattling comes into place. As Carla penetrates the pumpkin, she feels the same in her left side.

The Big Bang Theory Of The Universe Essay
Evidence pointed towards that the universe was expanding, but this was not enough to separate the
Big Bang theory from its rivals. A few decades after the redshift concept was discovered, scientists
detected groundbreaking evidence that was considered the smoking gun. Arno Penzias and Robert
Wilson detected the remnants of radiation created from the Big Bang. This cosmic background
radiation was the thermal radiation left over from the Big Bang. It was collected in the form as
omnidirectional microwaves, which was red shifted because of the expansion of the universe. While
they were not able to detect large quantities of cosmic background radiation, the principle of
overdetermination allowed them to make claims from this evidence. They deduced that this
radiation must of come from a Big Bang event were protons and neutrons formed hydrogen atom.
This was the smoking gun to the beginning of the universe, it revealed that only an event like the
Big Bang could create this radiation. All the evidence collected suggested that an event like the
Big Bang would be the only explanation to what scientists had collected. The Big Bang theory
became the most probable theory against its rivals, but scientists were tasked with an even more
difficult problem. They needed to be able to explain how the Big Bang resulted in the unique
universe we observe around us. With the Big Bang theory established, scientists needed to
understand how this theory could create our observable

Jason Bivins Jazz And Religion Summary
In his eye opening book, Jason Bivins analyzes the connection that jazz music has with American
religion. Not many scholars have decided to address this area religious studies.
He conducts interviews with multiple musicians, in an effort to grasp what level of impact that
their religion or spirituality had on their work.
He pushes for the need of religious experience to understanding jazz, while, at the same time,
attempts to show that jazz can serve as a catalyst for fresh interpretations to American religion.
Scholars of religion have begun to place a greater emphasis on the senses, particularly vision and
hearing
He lays out his case in eight chapters, which equally divide the book s main content into two parts.
He describes his own book ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Eventually, he begins to pivot to the influence of the other faiths. For example, Islam gave black
jazz artists another way to find their subjectivity. Much of the Islamic jazz artists can be attributed
to the Ahmadiyya movement. Their groups gave black jazz artists a feeling of dignity and respect.
In chapter 3, he focuses on how jazz is able to create narratives for American religion. He said that
the retellings of jazz employ strategies of evasion designed to counter attempts to control and
commodify jazz and religion alike... (Bivins, pg. 84).
In chapter four, he focuses on jazz communitarianism. Even in the participation of counter
institutions, there is an American desire to find freedom and resist the norms. There were
numerous organizations such as the Union of God s Musicians in Artists Ascension (UGMAA) and
the Association for the Advancement of Creative Musicians (AACM) who were able to foster
growth in young musicians and give them tools to better succeed in life. These functions were very
similar to the functions of a church or religious

Cutting A Friend Loose Sucks
Cutting a friend loose sucks. It s akin to cleaning out a closet that s been jammed packed for
years...you avoid it for as long as possible but you end up sucking it up because you can t get
new clothes until you make space by getting rid of the old. You have to decide what stays or goes,
then if you decide to hang on to an article of clothing, you run the risk of it eventually turning into
clutter and making you regret keeping it around when you had to chance to free up the space, or,
you worry that six months into the future, you ll think that you shouldn t have gotten rid of that old
faithful dress that was clutch for so many years before you hastily dumped it in the frenzy of
purging. You know it s necessary but the thought alone makes your stomach hurt.
I spoke to a close friend recently and she was feeling down because she had to break up with a
friend of hers that had disappointed her one too many times. Listening to the defeat in her voice
got me to thinking about just how painful it really is to break up with a friend. We re absolutely
conditioned to navigate the ins and outs of breaking it off with a romantic partner, but not really a
friend. I know that I ve had more than one friendship that felt like a toxic marriage that, at the time,
I couldn t free myself from for reasons that ranged from pure loyalty for the person to fear of
getting rid of someone that held true value in my life. In a couple of cases I just didn t want the

My Personal Experience with Pregnancy Discrimination Essay
Pregnancy discrimination in the work place is alive and well in the 21st Century. There has been an
increase in the need for laws protecting the rights of pregnant women. Due to disparate treatment of
pregnant women, laws have been established to protect their employment rights. Although laws are
in place to prevent such discrimination, it has not eliminated the problem of employers
discriminating against pregnant women.
What is Pregnancy Discrimination?
Discrimination on the basis of pregnancy, childbirth or related medical conditions constitutes

Historical Background
At the turn of the century, there were absolutely no workplace laws. They were prohibited because
the Supreme Court ruled that the government should not be allowed to dictate to private
employers how their workplace should be run. The one exception the Courts allowed was the laws
that protected women. According to Patti Paniccia, author of Work Smarts for Women: The Court
allowed these laws because it believed that the government had a stake in the offspring that women
bore an interest in preserving the strength and vigor of the race. Concern for offspring has been a
traditional grounds for discrimination against women. It has prompted protectionist laws that
prevented pregnant women from earning a living. 2 In Jack Raisner s book, Pregnancy
Discrimination and Parental Leave Handbook , he indicates that the first ruling of discrimination
heard by the U.S. Supreme Court, Chief Justice Warren Burger, under Title VII of the Civil Rights
Act of 1964, signaled a hands off approach in dealing

Annotated Bibliography On Japanese And English
This commentary is compressed form of a thesis on annotated translation. The object of this task is
to present a complete annotated translation of a pamphlet that introducing Japanese culture, in
particular tea culture. The key difficulties of this translation are what issues are faced up when
translating the original texts , and how these issues are figured out in the translation.
When translation is processed, I encountered several difficult problems such as a word has two or
three definitions and meanings, a word cannot be translated literally, a peculiar idiom, and proper
nouns. Nonetheless, to state the grammatical order is different between Japanese and English. In
the following section will present these problems, and how I solve.
Occasionally a Japanese word has more than two meanings and definitions. When I encountered that
situation, I cannot translate that vocabulary immediately. To solve this issue, it is important to
recognise a sentence as well as a paragraph. For example, гЃЉиЊ¶г‚’гЃЁгЃ«гЃ‹гЃЏг‚€г
ЃЏйЈІг‚Ђ
(continue to drink and enjoy tea). In this case, I interpret г‚€г
ЃЏ for continue to , however,
definition for г‚€г
ЃЏ is decent or often . If I translate decent for this word, the sentence does not
make sense. Therefore, it is important to understand sentences and paragraph.
Other words for this issue remain; г‚€г‚
Љ, which means more or other than . гЃ§г‚‚, which means
but or even . й–‹иЉ±, which means a flower bloom or become popular .
One of the common issues for translating

Cultural Differences Between Poland and England
Culture may have its sources in different aspects of human life, as: language, nationality, education,
profession, group, religion, family, social class, corporate culture. All these elements influence
every member of a society and thus, culture is learnt and transmitted to others.
Differences between people within any given nation or culture are much greater than differences
between groups. Polish people and British, although have a lot of common in terms of historical
inheritance, they vary in many aspects of social life and these differences naturally affect the
behaviour and culture.

Two ends pointing up resembled the horns which people used to hang on the doors for their
protection from centuries. According to the belief, the horsheshoe in the shape of letter U (the ends
pointed up then) was bringing good luck. Conversly, the ends pointed down were supposed to
protect the owner of the horseshoe against evil spirits.
Differences between Poles and Britons manifest also in mentality. British people do not
understand the meaning of the verbs zaЕ‚atwic or kombinowac what can be explained as to
make business, especially if very clever but semi illegal or dishonest or simply if a person is in
a fix and is trying to get out of it or when someone is thinking about how to work something out it

nonexistent service industry, stores with bare shelves or just bare necessities on them. A person
had to kombinowac to get a better cut of meat, a car, a refrigerator and a lot of other things. There
is no an appropriate word for this in british dictionary because the word derives from the thought
and English people think in different categories.
Also, british approach towards politics and her representants is different from polish. Polish
citizens generally see their politics as cheats, thieves, liars. There is no such thing as social trust. It
is a fact that in no country its citizens have high opinion about their

The Role Of A Hero In Geoffrey Trease s Cue For Treason
Most people dream to be a hero, a hero that is admired, courageous, noble, and a role model to
everyone because of what they have achieved. Everyone s point of view of being a hero is
different, some might state that being a hero means solving crimes and wears capes like all
superhero in movies. The others might say that a hero is a soldier that fights for their country.
Peter Brownrigg, a fourteen year old Cumberland farm boy is a hero that does not wear a cape.
Peter s acts of determination and outstanding bravery pushes him to defeat Sir Philip Morton and
his followers in their objective to assassinate the queenof England in the story Cue for Treason by
Geoffrey Trease.
Peter s bravery is tremendous, if the situation is life threatening he will achieve what he desires.
Peter successfully climbs up the Yellow Gentleman s house by only using daggers to retrieve
the script for the play. Peter says, each time I put my weight on a fresh dagger, my heart went
into my mouth and I heaved for the splash below. ( Trease 132) while he was climbing the side of
the house. Daggers are the only material that Peter used to climb up the building. Climbing up a
building, especially with daggers is not something that every fourteen years old can accomplish or
execute. Each dagger that he pierced into the building was one risk he was willing to take.
Especially with no protective equipment, this is extremely risky and can result in fatality if the
subject does not have anything to break

David Suzuki Diversity Is Strength
Pluralistic superiority is a pervasive concept existing in a significant portion of the Westernized
world, enforcing the notion that multi cultural, multi ethnic, and multi national ideologies are
inextricably related with societal and economic progress, exemplified by the myopic and
unsubstantiated quotation Diversity is Strength from the current incumbent of Canada s position of
prime minister. The fundamental issue with this perspective is its inability to properly process
anterior information related to alternate states, and the orthodox prerequisites involved in the
ascension of relevant nation states by creating such an axiomatic statement which purportedly
embodies the quixotic goals of a state. As a method of responding to the notion... Show more

An intrinsic issue related to David Suzuki s postulation that diversity of all variants is useful to the
perpetuation of the is his intentional disregard for the biological notion of conflict within
ecosystems, specifically pertaining to invasive species and the ecosystems (and entities inhabiting
the ecosystem) which are the recipients of said invasion; if a species is relocated to an ecosystem
and possesses traits which fundamentally do not align with the synergistic and symbiotic nature of
the ecosystem , there exists a ubiquitous consequence for the denizens who are accustomed to the
relatively static nature of their environment. The socio cultural correlation, related to the biological
notion of ecosystem equilibrium, is the introduction of individuals who possess fundamental
disagreements with the predominant ethical and moral perspectives of the majority of inhabitants;
this, historically, results in the amplifications of tension between the two groups (primary
inhabitants and incompatibly invasive) and the inexorable suppression (this has a propensity to
manifest in both active and passive assimilation or the relocation of the minority into a specific
region) of the incompatibly invasive or the disintegration of the primary inhabitants social structure
. Present within both a biological and socio cultural structure is compatibility within an ecosystem,
and operating within the confines of such permits a higher degree of success when approaching
multi culturalism, but attempting to implement the unrestricted proliferation of any species or
culture within an environment, as proselytized by David Suzuki, is not functional. An example of
such would be introducing the Andean bear into the environment of the Asiatic black bear, in

Character Analysis Of Phoenix Jackson
When Eudora Welty finished her studies, she went back to Jackson, Mississippi, she began her
career of writing short stories (Kirszner and Mandell, 2012). According to Kirszner and Mandell
(2012), In A Worn Path, Welty creates a particularly memorable character in the tenacious
Phoenix Jackson, and through her she explores a theme that transcends ace and region (p. 386).
The story depicts an era of time when hardship was common for the black inhabitants during the
1930 s. There were many African Americans who fled the South and moved where they could
survive and receive a proper education. Needless to say, for those African Americans who
remained did not leave had to live a life with people who were prejudice and had to live a life
filled with problems and cruel treatment. There were moments when Phoenix could have turned
around to abandon her mission in the short storyA Worn Path, but she did not because of her love
for her grandson. When Phoenix, the young boy s grandmother, set out to get the medicine for
the young boy, she had traveled the same path many times before; however, this time it was on a

Examples Of Overcoming Fear
The Prison Within Overcoming fear
Overcoming fear introduction
There is a prison that has an inmate population in the billions. It s a prison without walls, without
barbed wire, without guards and without any physical barrier. But it is the most effective prison in
the whole world. Few escape it, but those who do find real and lasting freedom.
That prison is in our minds. It is a prison that holds back our initiative, our talent, our ability to
express ourselves and, most of all, it holds back the fulfilment of our full potential as human beings.
That prison is fear. Our lives today are controlled by fear more than we know. Fear controls the
choices we make, our actions, our habits and even our destinies. Fear has become one of the greatest

Roosevelt s advice is that you gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which
you really stop to look fear in the face. You must do the thing which you think you cannot do.
Overcoming fear there s nothing to fear but fear itself
I m sure you have had an experience in the past when you really feared something. After doing it
how did you feel. Silly? Stupid? The feeling is often one of that wasn t so hard after all. I don t
know what I was afraid of. Trying to fight fear is like trying to fight the dark. You can t do it. The
way to get rid of darkness is to bring in the light. The way to get rid of your fears is to conquer
them. Do the thing you fear to do and keep on doing it... that is the quickest and surest way ever

The Audio Engineer
A vital part in the making of any professionally made album is the production and post
production process. These processes are the responsibility of audio engineers employed by record
labels. The engineers are responsible for the recording, mixing, and mastering of audio tracks. To
do this, engineers are trained with various technologies in the fields of multi track recording,
outboard gear and digital/analog workstations. With their knowledge and tools, engineers help the
artists convey their art as best as possible not only to themselves but also to the demographic they
wish to express their art to.
The job of the engineer can be best described as a presenter in a techno artistic field. The job

According to an interview of noted audio engineer Simon Kasprowicz what makes a good engineer
from a bad is totally subjective and depends upon individual desire because what may sound
fantastic to someone, others will find fault in (Kasprowicz, about.com).
When all of the tracks of a project have been recorded, assembled, and edited onto the digital audio
workstation or tape deck, the next step would be to individually mix the elements of their work in
their final edited forms. The mix down process occurs by routing the various tracks of a digital
audio workstation or tape based recorder through a hardware virtual mixing console to alter the
overall session s program, all which include getting relative level, spatial positioning, using
equalizers, and effects. Once these measures are taken care of, the engineer can then set up a
rough mix of the song by adjusting levels and the spatial pan positions. The producer who is
mostly provides feedback to the artist and the engineer during the session, listens to the mix and
may ask the engineer to make specific changes such as amplitude adjustments. Instruments in their
isolated tracks are often soloed for equalized changes to be made. The usual compression and
limiting can be used in the mixing process to make individual tracks sound fuller and more

The Importance Of Play With Toys
With the amount of time children spend playing with toys, every parent or legal guardian of a
child should be more prudent with the toys their children to play with. Playing is important to
children. Play is one of the main ways children learn and toys are tools that help encourage that.
Play with toys is extremely beneficial in ways people fail to realize. For example toys help teach
motor skills and social skills and help them build creativity and exercise their muscles. Creativity
in children is also developed during play. Children who get time off other duties to play become
more attentive especially in their schoolwork. Leaving children to initiate their own kind of
games, gives them room to become more creative as opposed to when they are supervised by an
adult (Goldstein, 2012, p.13). The toys children play with affect their own interests and skills as
a person during childhood, which influences their characteristics as a person in adulthood. First
and foremost, play is essential to a child s development. Play is so important to optimal child
development that it has been recognized by the United Nations High Commission for Human
Rights as a right of every child (Play and Childrens, n.d.). Believe it or not play has been proven
to be extremely beneficial for children of all ages. It contributes to the cognitive, physical, social
and emotional well being of the child (Ginsburg, 2007, ). Play lets children exercise their creativity

Motivation Theories And Motivation Of Employee Motivation...
In organizations all across the world you will find management working diligently to enhance or
maintain productivity. There are many things that can affect productivity, some that are within our
control and some that are not. Employee motivation is something that can directly affect an
organizations production. It is no secret that un motivated employees equates to un productive
workers, but how can we combat this? In order to better understand this concept we will look at the
definition of employee motivation, some of the motivation theories and some motivation techniques
that could be useful in our organizations.
What is employee motivation?
Motivation is a word used quite often in many different scenarios, at work, home, the gym as
well as other places. In order to explore employee motivation, let us first define the term.
According to Spector (2012), motivation is generally defined as an internal state that induces a
person to engage in particular behaviors (p.194). This seems to be some sort of internal pressure
that helps propel us forward in whatever endeavor we might be undertaking at the time. As with
any topic that has been repetitively researched over the years, the word motivation has been
defined in many different ways. In 1981 Kleinginna and Kleinginna documented 140 different
definitions of the word. For the purpose of this research we will be focusing on work or employee
motivation. A very good definition of this concept was developed in 1981by a professor

Because of Durant s willingness to embrace change and the needs of the markets, G.M. would soon
become the industry leader in personal transportation and would remain there for the next 70 years.
GM also was forward thinking when considering their employees. G.M. was a leader in
compensating their employees favorably, while continually churning out a steady income for
investors resulting from their high speed growth. The organization also provided by far one of the
country s most copious health care and benefit plans. Throughout the 1950s G.M. leaders and
workers were pleased to declare the company had the highest compensated employees in the US. To
ensure employees were accessible to return after shutdowns for model year changes, G.M.
consented to a revolutionary union clause that compensated workers idled by shutdowns. Also,
G.M. made available great pension plans with significant retirement compensation and maximum
benefits for long time employees. This Success Formula permitted G.M.to take control of the
industry. The company s identity to be the largest the General was wedded to their strategy of
owning the biggest distribution along with the broadest product range. And the Success Formula
was effective, as each and every year G.M. sold far more cars and trucks compared to anyone else

Deforestation Effects On Amazon Forest Resilience
Trees and any plantation for that matter are often taken for granted as they provide many of the
essentials such as photosynthesis regulation, habitat, food, and even save ground to build
construction. However, as more people demand more, more space will be needed and cutting away
the trees for humans to use. Deforestationis the act of cutting and clearing a large area of trees. It is
the cause of extreme damage to the ecosystem and sustainability of life. Deforestation is negatively
affecting the interaction between the water cycle, soil sustainability, and trees stability.

2017). Deforestation also indirectly affects the water cycle by disturbing the atmospheric
circulation patterns. As evapotranspiration occurs in the water cycle from the forests, the water
rises up to the atmosphere and the wind moves the rain. So when trees are cleared, the cycle of
losing natural resources continues as fewer trees lead to less water to evaporation in the water
cycle which decreases the precipitation the Amazonian forest need. This finally leads to more
death of trees and the ecosystem within the forest. Zemp et al. s result on forest resilience in their
simulation supports that the Amazon s forest survival also decrease as there is an overlap in
Zemp et al. s statement when they state that in their simulations, forest resilience decreases
overlap with deforested areas. Despite the evidence showing the detrimental effects of
deforestation, Zemp et al. s research focus on the quantity of the forest and deforestation,
therefore, the research has a gap such that other geographical influences such as fertilization,
greenhouse gases, and water use are not accounted for. However, Zemp et al. s had gained more
understanding as they have used other research papers, like [Spracklen and Garcia Carreras, 2015;
Lejeune et al., 2015], to close the gap of unanswered gaps in the deforestation issue. Although the

The Power And The Glory Rhetorical Analysis
It is not the differences in humanity that bring division, but the inability to recognize, embrace,
and celebrate those differences. In Graham Greene s The Power and the Glory, his provocative
tone is most potent when he attempts to expose the faults within the Church. Greene also using
elements such as the setting of the plot to further progress the plot. Take for instance, the climate
of Tabasco is either blazingly hot, or wet and muddy. There seems to be no mediation, only
extremes. This is compared to the harsh political climate of the state. Additionally, Greene writes
his novel not like a book to be read, but instead like a sermon to be heard. His use of descriptive
language paints a motion picture, his prose reads as a movie. The dilemma... Show more content on

One of the reasons Greene rallies for the continuation of the Church is the numerous rich bouts
of culture that the Church brought to Mexico. Greene captures this essence when the Whiskey
Priest says, You don t remember the time when the Church was here. I was a bad Catholic, but it
meant well, music, lights, and a place where you could sit out of this heat and for your mother,
well, there was always something for her to do (Greene 45). As the persecution of the Church
progressed, events such as these began to become nonexistent. Greene shows the Church as the
only provider of cultural essence to Mexico. Additionally, even though Greene presents the
Whiskey Priest far from a Savior, he does carry some of the characteristics of one. More
specifically, the Priest can almost be represented as a Christ figure. Christ identified not with the
sinless, but with the lepers and murderers. The Priest followed the same principles and
exemplified the same characteristics. Even though he wasn t perfect as Jesus was, he was
willing to risk his life for the forgiveness of sinners. In the novel, Greene is noted saying, It was
too easy to die for what was good or beautiful, for home or children or a civilization it needed a
God to die for the half hearted and the corrupt (331). Alan Grob makes an interesting summation of

A Literal Reading Of The Indian Constitution
A literal reading of the Indian constitution however the misleading. Multiple overlaps have
occurred, not merely in the concurrent sphere of jurisdiction but also in spheres explicitly
assigned to the States. Financial constraints of the states have led to the proliferation of central
schemes and national missions. The all encompassing ambit of entry 20 in List III, social and
economic planning provided the constitutional basis for the planned development model of the
first phase. New elements of the division of powers and responsibilities have begun to assume
importance, overshading to a certain extent the issues which dominated the reform agenda of the
earlier period. While the issue of distribution of responsibilities and powers in federal political,
system is generally contentions, a gross mismatch between the two can lead to serious tensions.
The federal dialogue with the states is often pre empted by central administrative and policy
decisions. The Centre often decided on a particular course of action and only thereafter seeks
inputs from the States. Consensus building is after the decision, not before. This mode of
decision is not in favour of federalism . From the above discussion, it is clear that the Indian
Federation is not a partnership among equals. The Union Government is certainly superior to the
States. Not only is the area of the Centre larger by one third, but there are three more factors giving
a tilt in favour of the Centre . It is the Centre

Sherman Alexie s Life Of A Teenage Native American
Before reading this book, I honestly knew little about Native American. I knew that many lived
on reservations, but I knew nothing about those reservations. By being brutally honest, Sherman
Alexie provided incite to how the everyday life of a teenage Native American is like. This book
opened my eyes to the problems that Native American s face, that I was in the dark about before.
Life on a reservation is a lot different than I would have thought it to be. Many people, including
myself think about teepees, people running around half naked with a flowery headdress on
chanting ritual songs, and others sitting around smoking their pipes. This, however, as Alexie
pointed out, far from the truth. In reality, most Native American children had many things in
common with every other American. Most live in a house and went to school, just like every
other child in America. Of course, there are some disparities. For example, at my high school,
we rarely got new textbooks. Some of our books were obviously older than ten to fifteen years
old. However, we would have never had to use a book that had been used ever since my parents
had been in school. This proves how our system is flawed on how schools are funded. Alexie s
book also points out how violent things can be on a reservation. He points out that there are
unwritten rules of fighting. Some of these included if somebody insults you, then you have to fight
him, or if somebody insults any of your family or friends, or if

paper I shall explore how anime uses the breastas a tool to sexualize and objectify women and girls.
First, I shall map the historical context of breasts in Japan using Chris Kincaid s article Anime s
Breast Obsession Explained . Then I shall use Anne Allison s book Permitted and Prohibited
Desires: Mothers, Comics, and Censorship in Japan to outline how anime as internalized Western,
capitalistic values, but resists sexualization of the maternal breast. Next, I will combine the
approaches of Northrup Davis and Keith Russell to look at how genres and demographics of anime
reproduce the male gaze and portrayals of the breast through fan service.
Before delving into the articles, it is imperative to examine the historical context of the fetishism
of breasts in Japan. During the Edo period, which was around the early 17th to late 19th century,
Japan saw a rise in the creation of openly pornographic art and literature. An example of this kind
of art is called shunga, or erotic woodblock prints (Kincaid). In these carvings, the focus of
elaborate detail was on the genitals of both men and

Effectiveness Of A Volunteer Team Group Structure
Our intervention occurred at the group level, where we also needed to consider the inputs, design
components and outputs in order to do group level diagnosis. Here we looked at goal clarity, task
structure, functioning of the group, composition, and performance norms. Ward s volunteer team
group structure deviated widely from most for profit companies: the design components are all
loosely defined. Because Ward teams depend on volunteers it is more challenging to hold teams to
any kind of performance measures. We also looked at the individual level design components: tasks
identity, significance, autonomy, variety, and feedback. Here, too, it is difficult to hold members to
performance standards. Although we concluded that the group level performance gap was largely a
result of inadequate communication, individual outputs were also not as desired. Volunteers varied
in performance; however, you couldn t fire them. There were no repercussions for absenteeism.
They lacked KSA s and often motivation to do a good job. Showing up was the highest expectation.
Understanding all of the organizational, group and individual inputs, design components and
outputs is critical to determine effectiveness. In most companies with HR, the OD professional
would likely need to work with HR to gain this knowledge. HR is a source of data and has
experience working with line managers and staff, or at least offers a different perspective. Here is
one area where the push pull between the OD

How Terminator Two Satisfies the Science Fiction Genre The film, Г‚ TerminatorГ‚ is part of a
trilogy; Terminator 2 is the sequel to the first terminator film Terminator 1. The auteur, James
Cameron, produced the first terminator movie in 1984; and because the film was a big success
with a range of viewers the majority of different genre lovers , James Cameron had decided to
create a sequel, which was produced in 1993. The big screen had cost a huge budget in
Hollywood, WarnerBrotherГ‚ s (a franchise, film production business). This may have been due to

Science fiction is a very big genre. In Terminator 2, the film has many sub genres the movie fall
back on to, because the film is difficult to categorize within the same generic conventions. The
sub genres that are usually emerged are, dystopia, invasion and visitation, space opera, time
travel, fantastic worlds, science out of control, comedy, war, action, and romance. The sub
genre dystopia is a society vision of the world in the future, where it is very bleak and dismal.
The world is out of control and has no law. The protagonists are seen as unwilling anti heroes.
Invasion and visitations is a sub genre that is trying to give answers to satisfy you curiosity on
the Г‚ what ifГ‚...?Г‚ factor. The product output of this sub genre often depends upon the current
political climate within the country of production. If the location, America, were feeling
susceptible politically there would be a sudden arrival of an action Sci Fi film. Soap opera is a
genre where there is some soap opera action happening in the science fiction atmosphere. This
means that the films deal with histrionic and real life issues. Time travel is very popular concept
to use in science fiction films. Time travel is based on the idea of sending people or machinery
back and forth in time. This is a very popular as it impresses the audience and keeps them on the

Hot Tin Roof Relationships
Tennessee Williams interesting play Cat on a Hot Tin Roof portrays the often strained dynamic of
many different relationships between the members of a very wealthy family, all of whom are after
a particularly large inheritance, and are all willing to do whatever it takes to earn it. The blunt
nature and gritty tones of the playreflect the characters inner turmoils, as well as the many struggles
they face when dealing with their materialistic familymembers. Williams uses the much desired
inheritance as a way to show his readers how the greed and human nature of his characters affect not
only themselves, but their relationship with those around them.

Mae often antagonizes Margaret over the fact that Margaret has no children, while Mae has six,
telling her that if you had children of your own you d know how funny that is (896), she also
goes on to point out that She s childless because that big beautiful athlete husband of hers won t
go to bed with her! (967). Mae is described by Big Daddy as a good breeder, you got to admit she
s fertile. Hell, at supper tonight she had them all at the table and they had to put a couple extra
leafs in the table to make room for them (925). Margaret believes that because Mae has many
children, Big Daddy will give them the inheritance, though he does tell Brick that I hate Gooper
and his five same monkeys and that bitch Mae! (942). Because of her animosity towards her in
laws, Margaret constantly picks on Mae and Gooper s children, describing them as being like an
animal act in a circus! (896), along with calling them no neck monsters (883). She even tells
Brick that it s too bad because you can t wring their necks if they ve got no neck to wring! Isn t
that right, honey? (883). Despite their evident malice towards each other, Margaret and Mae are
very similar, as they both think very highly of themselves, have little care for the feelings of
others, and are both willing to do whatever it takes in order to gain the

The Shawshank Redemption By Frank Darabont And Starred Tim...
Introduction
I selected the 1994 film, The Shawshank Redemption, which was directed by Frank Darabont and
starred Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman. The central message of this film is the power of hope.
When Andy Dufresne (Tim Robbins), says to Red (Morgan Freeman) get busy living or get busy
dying, he is saying that it is only when you willingly risk everything, that freedom becomes
possible.
The film, The Shawshank Redemption takes place in the 1940 s and is the story of a Maine
banker, Andy Dufresne who is wrongly convicted of the murder of his wife and her lover and is
sentenced to life imprisonment in Shawshank Penitentiary (Representations of Prison in Nineties
Hollywood Cinema). For the first three years of his sentence, Andy ... Show more content on

The Body of the Term Project
The film talks about the prisoners being institutionalized , and the thought of spending the
majority of one s life inside a penitentiary would scare anyone (Politics and Film). There comes a
time when a prisoner becomes very accustomed to the life they were living inside prison that
they were dreading the day when they had to leave and go back to the society as a reformed
person (Politics and Film). In the film, Brooks tried to hurt a fellow prisoner just so he could
stay in Shawshank. Each of the prisoners inside Shawshank is locked up metaphorically as well
as literally (Cinematic Carcerality: Prison Metaphors in Film). The forms of isolation in
Shawshank range from the large, enclosed recreation yard to the small work crews down to the
cellblock, cells and solitary confinement literally (Cinematic Carcerality: Prison Metaphors in
Film). The bars, strict schedules, heartless prison guards and predatory sisters add a sense of
entrapment to the layers of isolation (Cinematic Carcerality: Prison Metaphors in Film). There are
also examples of socioeconomic diversity in the film. Andy shares an idea with the prison guards
who are unaware of the tax law. Also, when Andy explains to Red about what a rock hammer is or
stones (Cinematic Carcerality: Prison Metaphors in Film). When The Shawshank Redemption was

Prophet Ali Research Paper
Ali s close partisan constitutes the Shi at Ali, along with the general of Islamic belief in Allah,
Muhammad s message, and the Quran. The Shiites believe in the Imam as the true leader of faith
and the veritable interpreter of the Quran. According to the Shia doctrine, the prophet shortly before
he died, has appointed Alias the leader of the community and initiated him into the esoteric aspects
and the mysteries of faith and certain designated descendants, in turn, inherited this function. Also
numerous adages and wise saying bear Ali s name, the prophet claimed: I am the city of wisdom
and Ali is its gates. To the Shia, Ali is a saint, the friend of God, and the par excellence; thus the

Marine mammals have held a residency on this Earth for millions of years with ancestors dating
back to prehistoric times. They are not only a part of our history, but also a part of myth and
legends that have been told throughout generations and various cultures. There are three major
groups of marine mammals found around the world. Marine mammals include at least 117 species
within the orders Carnivora, Sirenia, and Cetacea (Thurman, 2014). Today, these often gentle and
intelligent creatures are faced with many obstacles and challenges to survive and adapt. While
adaptation has been a natural process for all species through time and evolution, these sea
creatures are being forced to adapt at a faster rate in the last century. This has been largely due to
an increase of human fishing, ocean pollution, and climate change. Sadly, for some, these
adjustments in their natural environment are creating changes faster than they can evolve or
survive. Figure 1 Evolution Sea mammals have evolved from land animals to marine animals
from their former land ancestors going back as far as the Paleocene Age which occurred 65 million
years ago. The earliest representatives of these

Lack Of Communication In The Painted Door By Sinclair Ross
When both involved do not effectively communicate with each other, a distant marriage may lead
to discontent for all. Sinclair Ross s short story, The Painted Door , deals with the growing
dissatisfaction and loneliness of a farmer s wife, Ann, who feels alone as her husband deals with the
harsh conditions of the environment. This story demonstrates how deeply communication can
affect a marriage, be it bad or good. One of the most fundamental elements of a healthy relationship
is communication. Lack of communication in a relationship can result to severe consequences.
Irrespective of the kind of relationship, lack of communication magnifies issues in a relationship
undermining the very foundation of the relationship. The success of any relationship relies on one
s ability to communicate well. Communication is important in relationships as it allows us to share
our interest, concerns, support each other. John is a simple farmer who thinks the only way he can
please his wife, is by working all day to earn money for her. However, Ann would prefer he spend
more time with her. Their relationship is stressed even further when Ann is left at home alone with
nothing to think about but their relationship because John has to go to his father s house. The
terrible snow storm accentuates Ann s feelings of loneliness and despair. These feelings lead Ann to
seek comfort and companionship from Steven, the attractive friend of her husband, John, thus
leading to John s suicide.

As I read about the journal that Porter and Jick wrote in the New England Journal of Medicine, I was shocked and appalled that no one in the medical community disputed the claim that the level of addiction in these opioids was low. I find it hard to believe that no one in the medical community stepped up and opposed these irresponsible claims. • 3. The Case Of Roe V. Wade On January 23, 1973, the landmark case Roe v. Wade established a new law that would change women s rights for years to come. This controversial case made it legal to have an abortion, which made it safer for women around the country. In 1972, a year before Roe v. Wade, there were approximately 587,000 illegal abortions performed (Roe v. Wade). These abortions were highly dangerous because they lacked medical equipment and a trained professional. In some instances, the mother could even die from the procedure. As a feminist, I believe women should have the right to their own body and therefore I believe the government should keep the decision of Roe v. Wade. In this paper, I will discuss the court case of Roe v. Wade, personal stories of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... However, the Act does not cover medicine for a safe abortion. Businesses who provide healthcare to their employees have purposely not included women s reproductive health because of their views on abortion. If the owner or manager doesn t believe in abortion, they are more likely not to include women s reproductive health on their health care, even though abortions are not covered in the Act (Roe v. Wade and its Effects of Society). This means that female workers are not provided with medical care they need because their manager disagrees with a choice not provided in the Act that gives women basic health needs. To me, health care should be a right, and not giving it to your employers because of your views is unconstitutional. If having an abortion is legal, why does the government not cover it in health acts? Even 37 years later, abortion is still a taboo subject that rears its ugly head in politics. Before abortions were legalized in 1973, many women put it upon themselves to get rid of an unwanted pregnancy. Any illegal abortion performed was a dangerous decision made by the mother. During the 1950 s an estimated 200,000 abortions took place illegally (The Impact of Illegal Abortion). There are many health risks with having an illegal abortion including: severe bleeding, abdominal trauma, rupturing of the uterus, and in some cases, even death. In 1972, a ... • 10. The Big Bang Theory Of The Universe Essay Evidence pointed towards that the universe was expanding, but this was not enough to separate the Big Bang theory from its rivals. A few decades after the redshift concept was discovered, scientists detected groundbreaking evidence that was considered the smoking gun. Arno Penzias and Robert Wilson detected the remnants of radiation created from the Big Bang. This cosmic background radiation was the thermal radiation left over from the Big Bang. It was collected in the form as omnidirectional microwaves, which was red shifted because of the expansion of the universe. While they were not able to detect large quantities of cosmic background radiation, the principle of overdetermination allowed them to make claims from this evidence. They deduced that this radiation must of come from a Big Bang event were protons and neutrons formed hydrogen atom. This was the smoking gun to the beginning of the universe, it revealed that only an event like the Big Bang could create this radiation. All the evidence collected suggested that an event like the Big Bang would be the only explanation to what scientists had collected. The Big Bang theory became the most probable theory against its rivals, but scientists were tasked with an even more difficult problem. David Suzuki Diversity Is Strength Pluralistic superiority is a pervasive concept existing in a significant portion of the Westernized world, enforcing the notion that multi cultural, multi ethnic, and multi national ideologies are inextricably related with societal and economic progress, exemplified by the myopic and unsubstantiated quotation Diversity is Strength from the current incumbent of Canada s position of prime minister. The fundamental issue with this perspective is its inability to properly process anterior information related to alternate states, and the orthodox prerequisites involved in the ascension of relevant nation states by creating such an axiomatic statement which purportedly embodies the quixotic goals of a state. An intrinsic issue related to David Suzuki s postulation that diversity of all variants is useful to the perpetuation of the is his intentional disregard for the biological notion of conflict within ecosystems, specifically pertaining to invasive species and the ecosystems (and entities inhabiting the ecosystem) which are the recipients of said invasion; if a species is relocated to an ecosystem and possesses traits which fundamentally do not align with the synergistic and symbiotic nature of the ecosystem , there exists a ubiquitous consequence for the denizens who are accustomed to the relatively static nature of their environment. The socio cultural correlation, related to the biological notion of ecosystem equilibrium, is the introduction of individuals who possess fundamental disagreements with the predominant ethical and moral perspectives of the majority of inhabitants; this, historically, results in the amplifications of tension between the two groups (primary inhabitants and incompatibly invasive) and the inexorable suppression (this has a propensity to manifest in both active and passive assimilation or the relocation of the minority into a specific region) of the incompatibly invasive or the disintegration of the primary inhabitants social structure . Present within both a biological and socio cultural structure is compatibility within an ecosystem, and operating within the confines of such permits a higher degree of success when approaching multi culturalism, but attempting to implement the unrestricted proliferation of any species or culture within an environment, as proselytized by David Suzuki, is not functional. The mix down process occurs by routing the various tracks of a digital audio workstation or tape based recorder through a hardware virtual mixing console to alter the overall session s program, all which include getting relative level, spatial positioning, using equalizers, and effects. The Importance Of Play With Toys With the amount of time children spend playing with toys, every parent or legal guardian of a child should be more prudent with the toys their children to play with. Playing is important to children. Play is one of the main ways children learn and toys are tools that help encourage that. Play with toys is extremely beneficial in ways people fail to realize. For example toys help teach motor skills and social skills and help them build creativity and exercise their muscles. Creativity in children is also developed during play. Children who get time off other duties to play become more attentive especially in their schoolwork. Leaving children to initiate their own kind of games, gives them room to become more creative as opposed to when they are supervised by an adult (Goldstein, 2012, p.13). The toys children play with affect their own interests and skills as a person during childhood, which influences their characteristics as a person in adulthood. First and foremost, play is essential to a child s development. Play is so important to optimal child development that it has been recognized by the United Nations High Commission for Human Rights as a right of every child (Play and Childrens, n.d.). There are many things that can affect productivity, some that are within our control and some that are not. Employee motivation is something that can directly affect an organizations production. It is no secret that un motivated employees equates to un productive workers, but how can we combat this? In order to better understand this concept we will look at the definition of employee motivation, some of the motivation theories and some motivation techniques that could be useful in our organizations. What is employee motivation? Motivation is a word used quite often in many different scenarios, at work, home, the gym as well as other places. In order to explore employee motivation, let us first define the term. According to Spector (2012), motivation is generally defined as an internal state that induces a person to engage in particular behaviors (p.194). This seems to be some sort of internal pressure that helps propel us forward in whatever endeavor we might be undertaking at the time. As with any topic that has been repetitively researched over the years, the word motivation has been defined in many different ways. In 1981 Kleinginna and Kleinginna documented 140 different definitions of the word. For the purpose of this research we will be focusing on work or employee motivation. As evapotranspiration occurs in the water cycle from the forests, the water rises up to the atmosphere and the wind moves the rain. So when trees are cleared, the cycle of losing natural resources continues as fewer trees lead to less water to evaporation in the water cycle which decreases the precipitation the Amazonian forest need. This finally leads to more death of trees and the ecosystem within the forest. As the persecution of the Church progressed, events such as these began to become nonexistent. Greene shows the Church as the only provider of cultural essence to Mexico. More specifically, the Priest can almost be represented as a Christ figure. Christ identified not with the sinless, but with the lepers and murderers. The Priest followed the same principles and exemplified the same characteristics. Even though he wasn t perfect as Jesus was, he was willing to risk his life for the forgiveness of sinners. These stories can powerful and heartfelt, but at the same time portray the negative and harmful stereotypes. Japanese culture is predominantly patriarchal and these values are reflected in many animeshows through the portrayal of women and girls. In this paper I shall explore how anime uses the breastas a tool to sexualize and objectify women and girls. First, I shall map the historical context of breasts in Japan using Chris Kincaid s article Anime s Breast Obsession Explained . Then I shall use Anne Allison s book Permitted and Prohibited Desires: Mothers, Comics, and Censorship in Japan to outline how anime as internalized Western, capitalistic values, but resists sexualization of the maternal breast. Here we looked at goal clarity, task structure, functioning of the group, composition, and performance norms. Ward s volunteer team group structure deviated widely from most for profit companies: the design components are all loosely defined. Because Ward teams depend on volunteers it is more challenging to hold teams to any kind of performance measures. We also looked at the individual level design components: tasks identity, significance, autonomy, variety, and feedback. Here, too, it is difficult to hold members to performance standards. Although we concluded that the group level performance gap was largely a result of inadequate communication, individual outputs were also not as desired. Volunteers varied in performance; however, you couldn t fire them. There were no repercussions for absenteeism. They lacked KSA s and often motivation to do a good job. Showing up was the highest expectation. Understanding all of the organizational, group and individual inputs, design components and outputs is critical to determine effectiveness. The film, The Shawshank Redemption takes place in the 1940 s and is the story of a Maine banker, Andy Dufresne who is wrongly convicted of the murder of his wife and her lover and is sentenced to life imprisonment in Shawshank Penitentiary (Representations of Prison in Nineties Hollywood Cinema). The Body of the Term Project The film talks about the prisoners being institutionalized , and the thought of spending the majority of one s life inside a penitentiary would scare anyone (Politics and Film). There comes a time when a prisoner becomes very accustomed to the life they were living inside prison that they were dreading the day when they had to leave and go back to the society as a reformed person (Politics and Film). In the film, Brooks tried to hurt a fellow prisoner just so he could stay in Shawshank. Each of the prisoners inside Shawshank is locked up metaphorically as well as literally (Cinematic Carcerality: Prison Metaphors in Film). The forms of isolation in Shawshank range from the large, enclosed recreation yard to the small work crews down to the cellblock, cells and solitary confinement literally (Cinematic Carcerality: Prison Metaphors in Film). The bars, strict schedules, heartless prison guards and predatory sisters add a sense of entrapment to the layers of isolation (Cinematic Carcerality: Prison Metaphors in Film). There are also examples of socioeconomic diversity in the film. Andy shares an idea with the prison guards who are unaware of the tax law. They are not only a part of our history, but also a part of myth and legends that have been told throughout generations and various cultures. There are three major groups of marine mammals found around the world. Marine mammals include at least 117 species within the orders Carnivora, Sirenia, and Cetacea (Thurman, 2014). Today, these often gentle and intelligent creatures are faced with many obstacles and challenges to survive and adapt. While adaptation has been a natural process for all species through time and evolution, these sea creatures are being forced to adapt at a faster rate in the last century. This has been largely due to an increase of human fishing, ocean pollution, and climate change. Sadly, for some, these adjustments in their natural environment are creating changes faster than they can evolve or survive.
