In our time, bioterrorism is an upcoming threat that is lurking behind the scenes. Even though we
are not aware of the dangers and consequences of bioterrorism, the effects of it in the future could
be lethal. The anthrax attacks are a perfect example of this. According to the article Anthrax attack

The Dreams Of Dreams And Dreams
Prologue
Everyone has dreams; it s a known fact. Their dreams are goals in their lives; goals that people
would really like to achieve.
For example: little girls dream about being princesses and fairy tales. Little boys dream about being
knights and rocket ships. Men and women dream about money, and the things they can buy with
them, like homes and cars.
For me, my dream is different. It may have been possible a few years ago. In fact: that s what life
was like, but that was before all of this happened, and the world changed for the worse.
Oh, well. There s no use in dwelling in the past. What s done is done, and the human race can t take
it back. Not just yet, and not without a fight, anyway.
Even though it is big, my dream is not just for me, it s for my friends, and the people living in the
building, even though they don t realize it.
Of course, that was a few years ago, before the average I.Q. went down, and people were relying on
our captors to help us.
My dream is the thought of escape, and freedom. Freedom from this building and freedom from
the rulers who control everyone inside of it is my goal. It may be tough, and it might be hard to
do, but it s possible that my dream will come true.

The Grapes of Wrath, by John Steinbeck, discusses humanities disrespect for its environment. The
novel, set in the 1930s, is just as relevant today as when it was published. Yuhas, the author of The
Guardian article, says, Seventy five years later, The Grapes of Wrath is a mirror to a country
splintered by inequality, controlled by a minority, and facing climate catastrophe. In the 1930s,
humans created the Dust Bowlby not farming correctly and being greedy. This disrespect had

Argumentative Essay On Conscription In Australia
The Great War was known as the war to end all wars as it had such a dramatic and tragic impact
on soldiers and civilians alike. Many aspects of the conscription debate, the home front, trench
warfare and weaponry had a significant impact on Australia and its involvement in the war.
In conclusion, there were many changes that occurred to soldiers and civilians as a result of the
Great War. The aspects of trench warfare and weaponry, women on the home front and conscription
played a significant role in changing soldiers and civilians throughout the war.
Nothing was more divisive than the conscription debate in Australia during the First World War.
The highly debated issue of conscription compulsory enlistment for military service, particularly
overseas had a significant effect on Australian society.
Unlike other countries fighting in the war, Australia did not enforce conscription. Its armed forces
relied completely on volunteers and at first there had been more volunteers than the army could
accept. However by mid 1916, when news of casualties of the front began to reach home, support
for the war declined sharply. In 1916, William Morris Hughes returned from inspecting the Western
Front and was convinced that Australia should introduce conscription for the war effort. This led
society to become divided into two major groups, the pro conscriptionists and anti conscriptionists.
Those who argued in favour of conscription included a number of powerful and influential

Ghazali Conditional Statement
Al Ghazali begins his discussion of theodicy with a conditional statement that will frame the rest of
his one hundred line discussion contained in his Ihya text. This conditional statement has as its
antecedent a series of eight hypotheticals which are aimed at creating a hypothetical multitude of
immensely knowledgeable and wise creatures. The antecedent contains the following hypotheticals:
all creatures being as intelligent and knowledgeable as the most intelligent and knowledgeable
human, Godgiving each creature the maximum knowledge and wisdom that their souls can
handle, God then giving each creature the combined knowledge of all creatures, God revealing
to each creature the consequences of things, God teaching each creature the mysteries of the
transcendent world, God teaching each creature about divine favor, God making each creature
aware of final punishments, God making each creature aware of good and evil and of benefit
and harm. All of these components of the antecedent serve to set up a scenario in which there
exists a multitude of extremely wise and knowledgeable creatures. These components are
presented in lines one through sixteen of the passage quoted by Ormsby on his pages 38 41 of
Theodicy in Islamic Thought. If the conditions of the antecedent were met, says Al Ghazali, then
another conditional claim would be the case. This second conditional claim, which is the
consequent of the first conditional claim and is contained in lines sixteen through nineteen, has
as its antecedent God asking all of the now hyper wise and hyper knowledgeable creatures to
work together in creating the best possible arrangement of this world and of the transcendent
world. If God asked this of the creatures in the hypothetical, Al Ghazali says in lines nineteen
through twenty four that the creatures would produce an arrangement that is exactly identical to
the way in which God has arranged His creation as it truly is. Al Ghazali, in lines twenty four
through twenty seven goes so far as to say that the product would not have subtracted or added as

Michelangelo s Last Judgement is a depiction of the second coming of Christ and captures the
moment when God judges all human beings. With over 300 nude figures in the fresco, there was
a lot of controversy. Many of those who opposed the work were those who believed it to be
something that belonged in a bath house rather than a church because of the images being shown.
One of the most prominent features of the fresco is that all the figures have a very muscular
physique, which was what Michelangelowas most known for. Although the work faced an extreme
amount of criticism during the time, it now receives high praises and is one of the most notable
pieces of art in the world. In this fresco Michelangelo is capturing the force and triumph of the
most feared moments in the future, while retaining the purity and power of nature by representing

The single most destructive force in this world is revenge. An immense amount of wars,
murders, division, and hatred is due to the evil that is revenge. There are many famous forms of
literature that discuss revenge. One is Of Revenge by Sir Francis Bacon. In this essay Bacon
explains the evil of revenge and why it shouldn t be taken. Also, down playing revenge, Robert
Kennedy gave a speech called A Eulogy for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Immediately following
the death of Dr. King, Kennedy pleads with the African American community and America to

The opening line of this piece started as a daydream. My one impossible daydream of a really
