How To Write A Analytical Essay
Crafting an essay on the intricacies of composing an analytical essay may seem deceptively
simple at first glance, yet delving into the task reveals a challenging endeavor. The difficulty
arises not merely from the technical aspects of elucidating the steps involved, but rather from the
nuanced understanding required to convey the essence of analytical writing.
To begin with, there is the intricate balance between analysis and interpretation. One must
navigate the fine line of dissecting the subject matter while avoiding subjective biases. The
challenge lies in fostering an objective viewpoint that dissects the topic methodically, without
succumbing to personal opinions that may cloud the analytical process.
Moreover, the demand for a coherent structure adds another layer of complexity. Crafting a
logical progression of ideas requires a meticulous approach to organizing thoughts, ensuring each
paragraph seamlessly flows into the next. The essay's effectiveness hinges on the writer's ability
to present a compelling argument, supported by evidence and examples, within a well-structured
framework.
Furthermore, grappling with the depth of research required for a comprehensive analysis poses a
substantial hurdle. It involves not only understanding the primary source material but also sifting
through various perspectives and scholarly opinions. The challenge lies in synthesizing this
diverse information into a cohesive narrative that reflects a nuanced understanding of the subject.
Additionally, the mastery of language is paramount. Striking the right balance between clarity
and sophistication is no easy feat. The writer must convey complex ideas in a manner accessible
to a broad audience while maintaining a level of sophistication befitting the analytical nature of
the essay.
In conclusion, undertaking the task of writing an essay on how to compose an analytical essay is,
in itself, a demanding endeavor. It requires a multifaceted approach, encompassing analytical
prowess, organizational finesse, extensive research, and linguistic dexterity. However, it's through
navigating these challenges that one can truly grasp the art of analytical essay writing.

Essay on Congressman Steve Cohen
As the current representative of the 9th district of Tennessee, Democratic
Congressman Steve Cohen has emerged as a tactful candidate with goals in mind to

Since then, gerrymandering has been used to gain partisan advantage and to shape
the political projections of politicians and racial and ethnic groups. The two most
common gerrymandering techniques include packing and cracking,
disappointingly both waste valuable votes in doing so. Packing has both an
offensive and defensive strategy. Offensively, packing is to fill a district with
many voters of one type to create a safe seat; typically used in partisan
gerrymandering. Defensively, packing is to compress voters of one type into as few
districts as possible to dilute their influence elsewhere. However, cracking is to
spread as many voters of one type into as many districts as possible to dilute their
influence; typically used in racial gerrymandering. Partisan and Racial
gerrymandering are two common forms of gerrymandering. Partisan gerrymandering
is the manipulation of districts to increase members of a specific party by drawing
district lines on the basis of party identification. Racial gerrymandering is drawing
district lines on the basis of race; possibly leading to a majority minority district.
After the ratification of the Fifteenth Amendment granting former slaves the right to

To Rap Or Not To Rap Essay
The music industry is always growing and trying to solicit new music to get higher
ratings. The music industry s role in promoting negative music has been a hot
topic for many years. What is too often under reported is how young people,
including incarcerated youth, are directly impacted by the music. That quote came
from an article called Seb is Hip Hop . All a person has to do is turn on their radio
to a mainstream station and they to can get taste of the carnage. Rap and hip hop
are two of many genres that get a lot of attention for their violence, drug use, and
degrading sexism towards women. Hip hop started to gain a lot of attention in the 80

Essay On Should Athletes Get Paid Too Much
To be successful in today s society, there is one word that comes to mind, money.
Money controls people, motivates people, and is essentially the drive for many of
the decisions a person makes in their life. The American government does what
they can to make success possible for the majority of citizens, yet over 46 million
Americans are living in poverty. How can it be that the wealthiest nation in the
world has so many people living in poverty? What is all of our money being put
towards? While there are many good answers for this question, one is in the corrupt
world of professional athlete salaries. The amount of money put into professional
athletics is unbelievably too much. We have so many hardworking, underpaid
Americans who deserve... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
So it would make sense that these people deserve salaries that put them above
everybody on the wealth scale. These people are required to spend a large amount
of money and time to get where they are, so why do they make just a fraction of
what athletes make? To be more specific, an average doctor has to work everyday
for 76 years to make what professional boxer Floyd Mayweather makes in a single
fight, even if he loses. A backup quarterback may never play a single snap in a game
but he still will make three times as much as surgeon on average. If that isn t enough,
how about the fact that in one week the Brooklyn Nets starting five players make just
slightly less than all nine supreme court justices make in a year. There is no doubt
that athletes do spend just as much time and money, if not more, as those who have
professional occupations, but it all comes down to what each occupation group really
does for the country. Our country simply could not function without people like
Doctors, Surgeons, Engineers, and government officials, and while we may think we
could not function without sports, we could. So why should a occupation that does
nothing but entertain people make much more than the people that keep the country

Using the same infrastructure it has been able to carry out its marketing strategies in
new offices as well. However, Dell differentiate in its marketing tactics in that it
believes in establishing a brick and mortar market presence. This is why the
company has established sales offices and manufacturing outlets across North
America, Europe, Asia and South America. This way it has been able to gauge the
local customers needs as well as services desired (Official Website 2004).
Apart from the above customer level niche marketing, Dell also believes in
reducing competition through collaboration. Unlike other leaders in the industry
such as HP and Compaq, Dell does not believe in taking over existing competitors
to eliminate competition. Instead the company have always pride itself in using
partnerships and associations for integrated marketing. For example Xerox s
addition to the company as a partner for providing printing products and services
has served the purpose of integrating one more technology to its lists of
comprehensive business services. As James Vanderslice, Vice Chairman of Dell
says: By adding Xerox to our roster of preferred printing partners, we are even
better equipped to serve our customers with a full range of office printing
technologies that provide end to end solutions. The Xerox brand is synonymous with
quality, technology leadership and world class services. We share these core values. (

Baldwin s Father in Notes of a Native Son Essay
Playgrounds of Harlem Narrative is a form of writing used by writers to convey
their experiences to an audience. James Baldwin is a renowned author for
bringing his experience to literature. He grew up Harlem in the 1940 s and 1950 s,
a crucial point in history for America due to the escalading conflict between people
of different races marked by the race riots of Harlem and Detroit. This environment
that Baldwin grew up in inspires and influences him to write the narrative Notes of
a Native Son, which is based on his experience with racism and the Jim Crow Laws.
The narrative is about his father and his influence on Baldwin s life, which he
analyzes and compares to his own experiences. When Baldwin comes into... Show

He was also a conserved man who secluded himself like a prophet, such as Tiresias,
the prophet from Oedipus who lived isolated from society. He was marked with an
inability to establish contact with others, except perhaps with his neighborhood
which he left only hostility and uncharitable asperity. (67) However, his failure in
social relationships also stretched, even though to one so close as to be called
family, to his son James Baldwin. This led Baldwin to hate his father for what he
was. Baldwin s father was detested as much by Baldwin as his siblings. Baldwin
explains: When he took one of his children on his knee to play, the child always
became fretful and began to cry; when he tried to help one of us with our
homework the absolutely unabating tension which emanated from him caused our
minds and our tongues to become paralyzed, so that he, scarcely knowing why,
flew into a rage and the child, not knowing why, was punished. (65) It would seem
that this man was a failure as a father. This passage, coming from the father s son,
would undoubtedly have experienced this first hand. While using words such as us
and our, Baldwin evokes an image of the pain him and his siblings went through. His
presence was enough to paralyze a child when trying to help it with homework.
When trying to comfort a child by playing with it, he only vexed the child further,
causing it to cry. Baldwin depicts

The Definition Of Fearless By Adam Brown
Fearless, what does it mean? Fearless can be used in many different scenarios.
With Adam Brown, he was fearless in many different ways. He was fearless in his
faith with God, in his overcoming of drug addiction, with his family and friends,
and even on the battlefield. He went through many situations in his life that people
would normally find crazy or terrifying, but he had dealt with without fear. Adam
was the perfect example of the definition of fearless. The definition of fearless is
lacking fear. Some synonyms would be brave, courageous, heroic, and daring. In
this novel it is apparent that Adam is described as all of these words. Adam has
been known to be fearless since the beginning. On page 13 it says, Soon after his
second birthday, Janice glanced out the living room window and saw that Adam
had pushed a chair across the back porch and was using it to climb up on the
railing twelve feet above the ground. As a two year old he climbed up 12 feet and
jumped off the railing. He was not afraid of getting hurt, he knew that if he got hurt
he would just get right back up and it would be perfectly fine. His fearlessness had
carried on as he got older and was really helpful in his sports. For example, on page
28 the author explained how Adam wouldn t give up in football during the Alley
Drill after getting pummeled and pummeled. The only way he would stop is when
the coaches would finally call the drill. Adam was determined to be the best in
football and him not being afraid of failure really helped him out with that. On
page 34, Adam had decided to jump off the bridge from a moving vehicle. He saw
a video of Navy SEALS doing it, and right then and there he felt like he needed to
do it too. A bunch of his friends had told him that it was dangerous and there was
no way they were doing it, This shows Adams fearlessness as well. Adam s
fearlessness had helped him with his friends and his family. For example, on page
40 41 Adam had walked up to a guy who was threatening to shoot him and his friends
with a shotgun, and told him to shoot him. They were driving around one night and
some guys from Little Rock had almost swerved them off the road. Adam and his
friends had confronted them. These guys ended up
The Literature On Pay For Play

Abstract
In light of recent court cases such as O Bannon v. National Collegiate Athletic
Association (NCAA), the issue of whether intercollegiate student athletes should be
compensated for their athletic appearances on behalf of colleges has been featured
in the news and been the subject of much scholarly writing. Some of the major
streams of literature focus on the pros and cons of pay for play by looking at existing
laws in the United States, the concept of amateurism, and the primary mission of
colleges and universities. As institutions of higher education and the NCAA continue
to battle over the appropriate role of profit and amateurism in college athletics, this
topic is important for anyone considering higher education administration as a career
as it impacts all colleges participating in intercollegiate athletics. Keywords: pay for

Sun Yat-Sen
Evaluate the importance of Sun Yixian s (Sun Yat sen s) role in bringing about the
1911 Revolution in China.
Sun Yat sen s role in the 1911 revolution against the Qing dynasty was an indirect
one. Sun Yat sen was exiled in the United States during the events of the Wuchang
Uprising of October 10th, 1911, hearing about it through a newspaper publication in
Denver, Colorado.[1] Many Historians view Sun s accession as the provisional
President of the Republic of China, directly following the revolution, as due to his
position as a compromise candidate (Bergere, Marie Clare, Sun Yat sen, 1994, p. 12).
This interpretation holds Sun Yat sen as a respected but unimportant figure in the

In his nationalization theory, people would be deprived of the right to own land, but
they could still retain other rights over the land by permission of the state. Sun Yat
sen s revolutionary ideas extensively influenced formation of the New Army,
responsible for the revolution of 1911. Through his early revolutionary actions and a
failed military coup in 1895, Sun Yat sen was exiled for sixteen years, campaigning
and raising monetary aid in Europe, the United States and in Japan. In Japan, Sun Yat
sen joined dissident Chinese groups, a pre cursor to the Tongmenghui, becoming their
leader and gaining a large amount of financial support from Japanese democratic
revolutionary, Miyazaki Toten.[6] Sun Yat Sen smuggled this financial aid into China
through his supporters, directly financing weapons and ammunitions, much of which
was utilised in the revolution by the New Army.
Sun Yat sen s ideology remained flexible; this had a homogenising effect on the
revolutionary factions involved in the Wuchang rebellion and more widely, the
Xinhai Revolution. Sun Yat sen s political ideologies reflected their intended
audience as much as his personal convictions. He presented himself as a strident
nationalist to the nationalists, as a socialist to the socialists and an anarchist to the
anarchists, declaring in 1898, the goal of the three principles of the people is to

Argumentative Essay On Waste Culture
Mom, just give me your plate when you re done eating, I say to my mother as she

with the burden of another failed attempt at avoiding wasteful habits. Although I
appreciated her sense of hospitality, her oblivious gesture had forced me to reflect
on one of the most pressing issues facing the planet today, which was ironically also
the one least discussed by average people. Wastebuildup or the cause of major
pollution, severe health problems and safety issues of the millions living in
poverty have remained an issue in the past century due to a major divide in the
definition. For approximately half of the world s population, the word waste , can
be defined as its disposal is not an issue . For the other half, waste , is a constant
reminder that the conditions they face will forever be only their issue . One may
argue that waste culture is a direct result of the prosperity of the industrial revolution,
the obsession with untouched hygienic food in the Victorian era or the media s
constant ingraining of disposable items as a symbol of class, convenience and
freedom. However, the primary impact of these turning points lies in the precedent
they set for waste management. One that is expanding its scope from local to global

Country History of Afghanistan
Country History of Afghanistan Throughout history Afghanistan has served as a focal
point for the movement of people, goods, and ideas due to its central location linking
East Asia with that of the Arabian Peninsula. The land has seen conflict and warfare
with the passage of great empires to include those of Alexander the Great, the
Ghaznavids, three Anglo Afghan wars, the Soviet Afghan war, as well as the GWOT,
of which Afghanistanplays an integral role. The independent, fractious, and culturally
diverse Afghanistan we see today is a direct derivative of its unique history and
geography which has been dominated by external influence for centuries. Early
written history of Afghanistan reaches back to the time of Alexander the Great (c.
330 BCE). Afghanistan has been occupied by multiple empires throughout its history
and has enjoyed significant trade hubs due to its location along the Silk Road, most
notably the Afghan cities of Balkh and Herat, the latter of which continues to be of
economic significance due to its proximity to Iran. For the purposes of this paper we
will examine the recent history of Afghanistan which encompasses the 20th and 21st
centuries, however, it is important to note that significant outside interference has
affected the sovereignty of Afghanistan throughout its history. The present day
borders are a direct result of the Durrani Empire which ruled for nearly a century until

marketing mix that the target market sees as better than a competitor s mix

With the economy in a downturn it makes it a lot more difficult for people to
justify spending the money on things that they really do not need. And since these
stores are not everywhere you go it causes people to travel long distances in order
to visit, which means they have to spend additional money on fuel to get there. The
gas prices have been increasing to amounts that have put a damper on a lot of
peoples travel plans. With all of the economic problems some customers are going to
go somewhere that is more local and better in their price range. In addition, Bass Pro
Shops face threats from traditional and specialty sporting stores, mass merchandisers,
and catalog and Internet based retailers. These merchandise providers are everywhere
and the 50 Bass Pro Shops that are currently in the United States and Canada can be
quite a distance for the outdoor enthusiast that already knows what he or she may
need. Furthermore, the consumer who enters a store with the intention to only touch
and / or play with an item that he or she ultimately plans to purchase online threatens
all retail stores.
We would recommend that Bass Pro Shops continue to make their stores unique;
however, making a few smaller stores with some of the same features, lower prices,
and closer to large shopping centers would allow customers to experience the
environment, which may entice them to visit the larger stores. I think that since they
Kerala Elephants
The path that led me to writing this story about the plight of the Kerala Elephants
started when weeks ago I was graciously asked to join a Facebook group,
appropriately named Animal Activists.
The next brick in my path was laid by Lisa Fay Wind Roloff a well meaning
member of this group. She sent me a picture of an abused elephants being held in
Kerala, India.
The path became even clearer as I delved deeper into my research on the agony and
torture the Kerala Elephants are suffering at this very moment.
As I searched the net and read many insightful articles and petitions devoted to
stopping the Kerala torture, I came across a wonderful article, published by the New
York Times on August 2013, titled The Hard Life of Celebrity Elephants ... Show

Growing up the man I loved, and looked up to, a man I called Dad, beat me
everyday. He was a product of his times, and my heart and soul forgave him long
ago. But as with these animals a 7 year old is unable to change his daily fortune
without a champion.
Unlike these helpless creatures, I and millions of other children grew up to become
men and women who said Enough. No longer would we accept our fate. So we
fought back and change our destiny to what we wanted, not what others tried to
determine for us.
The beatings I endured became routine, the pain dulled, and as a child lying in bed
sobbing, battered from the nights punishment, I swore that I would never let any
child, woman or animal suffer like this. I would willingly sacrifice myself in order
to protect anyone from harm and in the years that have passed, life has presented me
with far too many opportunities to put that seven year olds promise to the test and I
have never once failed in honoring his vow.

Max Weber Research Paper
Biography of Weber:
Max Weber was born in Erfurt, Thuringia in 1864 into a prominent and well off
family (weber 1930) was brought up in Berlin. He came from the German upper
middle class. His father was a great figure in politics of the National Liberal Party
and his mother was a house wife. He was brought up in an era after the world war I
where the dramatically changes pushed for industrial revolution.
Max took up law, but left it before time in life. He was never interested in the
academic specialty. He was an intellectual of the first degree, with far ranging
interests in sociology, religion, economics, and political science. After the first world
war he was one of the founder of the liberal German democratic party.

Also because of this situation, people in the organisation will not be able to lead a
creative and happy life, as they would be forced to work in a highly rational society
with rigid rules and without able to change it.
Weber (1958) showed how this exact materialistic, individualist ethic was used to
develop effectiveness, productivity, wealth formation, and self interest. Weber s
challenge with most important contemporary management scholars, was to develop a
new approach to management and organization grounded in the teachings of new
prophets. The worth of such professionals for the organisation will depend on the
accumulation of knowledge and understanding that has generated skills, necessary for
the work in an organisation.
Management theory of Weber:
Weber professed many theories, a few are mentioned below:
Theory on Capitalism: In social capitalism, huge public institutions evened the
financial volatility of capitalist markets by sharing risk and reduced social instability
by creating group employment within their widespread lower rungs of the
organisations.
The charismatic leadership: According to Weber, the Charismatic leader is one who
is extraordinary, who appears only in chaotic times. He is not the officer or boss, but
rather from among the group. Thus, a charismatic leader emerges swiftly in times of
want, uncertainty or suffering.

Constraints on Nations and Individuals in Combating Climate Change
For many years, the issue of climate change has been thorny mostly because it affects
the whole world yet a few countries are the greatest contributors. Climate change has
led to global warming that has affected many countries in terms of weather variation,
flooding, poverty, and desertification. While the great debate rages over whether to
apply the constraints previously agreed on, climate change continues to have its toll
on the environment (Goldenberg 2015). Owing to the devastating impacts of climate
change over the years, the world leading environmental bodies need to apply some
constraints to corporations, individuals, and nations to curb the menace. Without a
concerted effort towards cutting carbon emissions, the planet will get only warmer.
Of course, the possible restrictions may not be palatable to all nations, individuals,
and corporations. It is so because such limitations may curtail some freedoms
previously enjoyed by various countries, organizations, and people (Pielke, 2015). In
this respect, this paper examines the kinds of constraints that when applied to
corporations, nations, and individuals, will curb the climate change menace, and the
potential conflicts with such measures.

Benefits Of Private School Education
How important is it for you to provide this for underprivileged students?
It s huge for me to help all kids, kids are our future if we give them all the tools they
can do anything they want in this world. For me, it s trying to put kids in the right
situation, and give them the opportunity to succeed in whatever field they choose.
Did you have many educational experiences such as the one that you re currently
providing growing up in SC?
I went to a private high school, my parents received help from a lot of anonymous
donors that I m truly grateful for. It s cool that I m in the position to help kids do the
same thing that was given to me.
How was the educational system for you growing up before you went to private
school?
It was rough, I went to public school up into seventh grade my parents felt like
private school was going to help me be a better leader so they stressed a private
school education. It was a dramatic change for me, but I needed it for college, and
for after college.
What s the difference between Public and Private School?
It was different, in Public school you have everyone from your neighborhood, and
the surrounding neighborhoods, it was fun, but going to private school is different,
you have all these types of kids from all over Charleston that were all about their
education. It was a huge change for me and it took me a while to adjust, but looking
back it was the best decision that I made.

Charles R. Smith conveys his idea as to what a poet is about so beautifully. While
listening to him, I visualized his words. I created pictures in my imagination, his
words were relaxing. I have loved poetry for as long as I can remember. I grew up
listening to all kinds of music which is a form of poetry. I remember living at home
with my parents and on Sunday mornings as they were making breakfast, they
would play the Sunday morning classics with Hal Jackson on the radio. At the time,
I dreaded the music they listened to. Oh no, not again Smokey Robinson, Diana

there s thought behind it and there s great writing in rap as well (0:10). All music is

Peasants
Manorialism was a part of feudalism and supported it. Peasants were very important
on the manor. Peasants lived on and farmed the manor s land. In return for the
work, lords would protect the peasants and gave them a share of land to grow their
crops (Cels 4). Peasants that did not own any land would be hired by lords or
peasants who were in better condition than them to work for them on the land (Cels
8). Peasants had to work almost for the whole day growing food and making other
things for their family and to give to the lords (Cels 4). Peasants would work for
three days a weeks for the lord and they had to work for extra time during harvest
time (King and Epperly 34). They were very important on manorialism and feudalism

proper age for marriage her new life as a lady would start. The wife of a knight
(nobility) was called a lady (Butterfield 9). The lady would be the most noble in her
husband s manor, the lady of the manor (Butterfield 9). Her husband had a higher
ranking than her and had more rights than she did. St. Augustine, a famous
philosopher of the Christian church wrote The husband should give orders to the
wife, parents to the children and masters should give orders to servants (Howarth

everything that she owned belonged to him and she was ranked second after

and was a way to increase wealth or prestige of each family. It was not for love
between two people (Howarth 25). At seven years old, she would know who her
husband was going to be (Butterfield 9) and soon enough she would be married off
to a husband of a much older age (Howarth 25). Her husband was chosen from a

The Causative Agent Of Acquired Immune Deficiency
Syndrome...
Introduction
Human Immunodeficiency Virus, HIV, is the causative agent of Acquired Immune
Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS). Currently, there are two types of HIV isolated, HIV
1 and HIV 2, which are both retroviruses and able to perform reverse transcriptase
(Leboffe 2011). While HIV 1 is spread throughout the world, HIV2 is confined to
West Africa and is better protective against the progression to AIDS
. Genome of HIV
1 only contains nine genes. It is transmitted by body fluids such as blood, breast
milk, semen, and vaginal secretions. Its mode of transmission is via contaminated
blood either by, IV drug use, sexual transmission, mother to child, blood transfusion
or occupational risk. It infects 34 million people in a year worldwide, with
approximately 1.8 million death. In the United States, the population infected with
HIV is approximately 1.2 million people and one out of five people are unaware of
the infection. Human Immunodeficiency Virus is the causative agent of HIV
disease. It is 9.3 Kb positive sense RNA virus and 100 nm in diameter. HIV has no
animal reservoirs and only infects humans (Leboffe 2011).
History
The origin of HIV 1 is a closely related chimpanzee virus that first infected humans in
Central Africa in a first half of the 20th century (Cachay 2016). Some of the events
that together made up rapidly enlarging and increasingly interconnected pools for
transmission of pathogens during 1960 1970 were blood product industries, IV drug

A Manager Communicating With Associates
A manager communicating with associates in China, using the Hofstede s cultural
dimension, will be mindful of such things as power distance, individualism,
masculinity, uncertainty avoidance and many other variables. Power distance
rankings 80, masculinity 66, uncertainty avoidance 30. A manager dealing with
associates in China, will need to be aware of associates rankings and address them
accordingly, because the higher ranking you have in China, the less your authority
is questioned. China ranks 20 on hofstedes cultural dimensions power of
individualism and this is considered very low, so a manager should inspire group
activity in associates and focus less on individual work. The manager should
group projects to associates, because the Chinese ranking is medium in masculinity
and low in uncertainty avoidance due to their high inclination to be entrepreneurs
they are willing to take on challenging tasks: (Geert hofstede.com, 2016). Ireland
ranks low in power distance with a score of 28, low in uncertainty avoidance with a
score of 35, and high in individualism and masculinity with a score of 70 and 68
respectively. This implies that a manager dealing with associates in Ireland, must
treat associates the same irrespective of their rankings and must also allow them to
take more risks and take on more challenging tasks as they are more optimistic about
their future. The manager must also treat associates as individuals as Ireland is a
very competitive society and values
Women During The Civil War
There were many famous names from the Civil War, some of the more notable
names were: Ulysses S. Grant, Thomas Stonewall Jackson, and George Custer.
These names are synonymous with great generals who fought great battles during
the war, but what about Sarah Emma Edmonds, Clara Burton, Dorthea Dix, Rose O
Neal Greenhow, and Loreta Janeta Velazquez? These names are not as known as
their male counterparts, but these ladies of the Civil War Era did their part to aide
their respective sides in the war. What these and other women did during the civil war

Cellulite
Cellulite is a condition of adipose origin in which adipose tissue protrudes through the
dermis causing an orange peel or cottage cheese type dimpling of skin seen most
commonly on the thighs and buttocks of many post pubertal women. The initial
changes leading to cellulite formation appear to be deterioration of the capillary
network, vascular changes and abnormal deposits of glycosaminoglycans, leading to
excess fluid retention within subcutaneous tissues. A variety of treatments ranging
from topical creams to laser therapies are currently available, claiming to reduce the
dimpled skinappearance however successful results are often anecdotal, subjective or

The inability to repair tissue damage due to continued oedema and vascular
congestion can lead to thickening and sclerosis of the fibrous septae in the superficial
adipose tissue and deep dermis, creating the clinical appearance of cellulite.
Cellulite is an unwanted condition and a rising demand for cellulite reduction has
new non invasive treatment modalities becoming popular. Currently there are
numerous medications, devices and diverse therapies that allegedly treat cellulite
however there is little evidence to support long term effectiveness. Due to the nature
of cellulite, effective treatment would need to repair and strengthen the dermis as
well as expel the fat protrusion back underneath the dermis. Retinoids are thought to
increase dermal collagen fibres, allowing the dermis to prevent further herniation of
fat as the collagen deposition makes the dermis much stronger, therefore reducing the
appearance of cellulite.
Endermologie is a hand held mechanical system used to simulate manual massages of
the skin. It is hypothesized that it is able to reduce the appearance of cellulite by
causing damages to the subcutaneous fat cells by positive (rolling) and negative
(suction) pressures, disrupting fat cells and allowing for better distribution of
subcutaneous fat.

time we spend on things (especially reflecting on time we might consider wasted ) is

The Human Condition Analysis
The Human Condition in Music Throughout time, artists, musicians, and composers
have been using their various artforms as an outlet, a way to express themselves in a
way rather than written word or oral expression. For these artists, many times
composition and performing music allows them to study the human condition in a
deeper, more personalized, yet relatable way, much like Arthur Miller exhibited in
Death of a Salesman. Though various other art forms are used to express this, it is
musicthat allows the composer, performer, or listener to examine an aspect or
sometimes multiple aspects of the human condition, including: birth, growth, love,
emotionality, aspiration, conflict, and mortality. These exhibitions have spanned

Emotionality is found to be an important aspect of any kind of artistic study. Those
who choose to contribute in artistic advances such as drawing, painting, literature,
theater, or music are continually pressured to convey more emotion within their
works. For example, Ella Fitzgerald s 1958 rendition of Blue Skies uses a presto
tempo and E major key to suggest the same feelings as Arthur Miller wished to
convey by describing how Willy Loman believes the aristocrats must feel. To
similarly convey this, Ella sings, I never saw the sun shining so bright, never saw
things going so right. Willy believes that the aristocrats must feel similarly to this
due to the fact that to Willy everything seems to be going deplorably. Willy
believes that if one is not plagued with the idea of being unable to provide for his
family, then they must be living as Fitzgerald suggests. Moreover, leaping to 2009,
Eric Whitacre, a newfound Juilliard graduate in composition, had noticed a fan of
his works had posted a video of herself singing the soprano part of his newly
composed piece, Sleep . Eric, resonating in the purity and innocence of the video
he had watched, began a project to connect people from around the world in his
personal Virtual Choir , as he explains in his TED Talk. Eric, finally being able to
join individuals in over 50 countries in song, speaks of how moved and
The Creation Of New Inventions
If people are the same, can the creation of new inventions come into existence?
How can society and individuals improve if there are no differences? In fact,
innovation comes from the mind, but the uniqueness of people has led to these
creations. Ever since the first incandescent lightbulb to the present age of rockets
and computers, these inventions are what have helped society progress forward into
a new era of life. However, how can people comprehend that a single person has
created a complex innovation? To explain, a quote describing how to succeed in
inventing while facing several obstacles is the analogy of the confrontation between
the stream and the rock, the stream always wins, not through strength but by
perseverance ( A quote by H. Jackson Brown Jr. ). Going into detail, to overcome an
obstacle does not mean physical strength is necessary to succeed, but through mental
qualities is where success truly appears. For instance, making mistakes on a test can
motivate a person to persevere and improve on the exam. Nevertheless, its creation
comes from individuals, but not all humans can invent a revolutionizing innovation.
Why? The characteristics of a person are how an inventionis born. Inventors, such as
Thomas Edison, did not revolutionize the world by sheer strength, but by their mental
capabilities to achieve what they wanted to present to the world. That is their
persona. People s persona shows the aspect of their character and the presentation of
who they

Founded in 2006 by Australian journalist Julian Assange, the website WikiLeaks had
quickly risen in infamy over the past few years (Majerol 19). The controversial
website had posted hundreds of thousands of classified documents about the Iraq and
Afghanistan war, revealing government cover ups, a secret assassination unit and the
killing of civilians among many things. The release of these confidential documents
has produced two opposing views on whether or not WikiLeaks is a good thing

A Puerto Rican Childhood Analysis
Cautionary old wive s tales have long been an effective way to teach children
morality and values without boring them. In Judith Ortiz Cofer s A Partial
Remembrance of a Puerto Rican Childhood (rpt. In Santi V. Buscemi and Charlotte
Smith, 75 Readings Plus, 10th ed. [New York: McGraw Hill, 2013] 67 71) it is
clear how a good storyteller such as Mama can capture the attention her audience.
Cofer s grandmother often tells these cuentos to her daughters and granddaughters
over afternoon coffee. These stories are used as an indirect way for Mama to teach
her familythe values and lessons that she has learned throughout her life. With her
family members, Mama s presence demands a universal respect. Everyone in the
room listens to what Mama has to say, even if it s not what they want to hear. Mama
is the absolute leader among the women her family and her opinions are held in high
regard. Cofer acknowledges this saying that even her own motherdid not possess
Mama s matriarchal power to command and keep everyone s attention (68). All of the

the sake of her Aunt Laura who was engaged at young age: I noticed how young
Aunt Laura lowered her eyes, refusing to meet Mama s meaningful gaze (68). Mama
is obviously concerned for her daughter and doesn t want to see her make the same

Ankle Sprains Research Paper
It s challenging to prevent repeat ankle sprains but it is possible. Unfortunately, with
each occurrence it gets more likely it will happen again. The tendency increases
because the passive stability structures, the ligaments, become loose. The key then is
to optimize the other stability structures.
Sprains typically happen in a side to side direction. The first step is to make sure
that you have the best possible motion in the front to back direction. Stretch the
calves and Achilles tendon to make sure you have good dorsiflexion (toes up towards
knees).
Next, work on balance activity to get the muscles around the ankle working as well
as possible. Start with simple single leg balance with the foot in a good position with

To finalize the process, you will need to progress the stabilization exercises to
include the hip muscles and movements which the ankle decelerates movements in
multiple directions. This is where the skilled advice of a corrective exercise
specialist will become necessary.
Once you sprain your ankle you are more likely to do it again. To strengthen your
ankles do range of motion exercises. Try writing the alphabet with your ankle, so
that you are moving the ankle in all directions. You can also get rubber
strengthening bands and perform the same exercises with resistance. Single leg toe
raises, where you go up on your tiptoes while standing on one leg might also help.
You should be able to do this 10 times in a row without any problem. Physical
therapy can also sometimes be helpful if you do not feel you are making progress on
your own.
It is important to improve ankle dorsiflexion after an ankle sprain. Research
indicates a loss of ankle mobility with chronic ankle sufferers primarily in ankle
dorsiflexion which is the motion you need to walk correctly. Reserach also indicates
a change in muscle control patterns not only in the ankle but also up the kinetic
chain, such as a loss of hip
Economic Importance Of Physical Diversity In Canada
The Importance of Physical Diversity Economic Importance Natural Resources
Due to the vast physical diversity in our country, there are many different natural
resources available ranging from oil to fish to minerals. Canada is number 4 on
the list of countries with the most natural resources; it has 33.2 trillion dollars
worth of natural resources. The interior plains have a rich source of salt, oil and
natural gas. The revenue from oil was about 2.5 billion dollars in 2016 in Alberta.
The Great Lakes St.Lawrence Lowlands has an industry of hydroelectricity and
agriculture. The soil is very rich and good for farming. The great lakes and the St.
Lawrence River also provides a source of fish and fresh water which is exported.
Hudson Bay and Arctic Lowlands has a lot of different kinds of natural resources
(e.g., forestry, hydroelectricity and natural gas) due to the physical diversity. Most
of the economy in this region comes from mining ( over 100 million dollars in

Power In The Shawshank Redemption
The Shawshank Redemption Throughout human society there has always been a
struggle for justice, equality, and control. While these concepts are ideal and
socially acceptable to most people they can also lead to a state of being in power for
other people. In the film The Shawshank Redemption, the filmmaker achieves a
connection with the audience by showing reoccurring instances of the struggle for
power between the protagonist Andy Dufresne and Warden Samuel Norton through
social status and the desire for perceived justice, equality and control. In order to
understand the fight for power in the film it is important to be aware of the social
classes that form inside the prison walls. As the film opens Andy Dufresne is one of
the newest inmates... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
While Andy may be low on the social scale inside the prison, on the outside world
he would most likely be considered a highly educated and respectable man due to
his previous position as the vice president of a bank. The Warden uses Andy s
banking talents to his own advantage, but later on in the film Andy flips this around
and takes advantage of the Warden. Being very secretive Andy starts transferring
some of the Warden s money into a fake account he set up for when he gets out of
Shawshank. Similarly as to how The Shawshank Redemption portrays social trends,
people tend to find themselves drawn into different classes or groups in the real
world, which an underlying theme that people can apply to their own lives. In the
film Andy uses this to his advantage by using his outside prison world skills, and by
using the perception he is looked at while inside the prison to successfully be able to
control and get the best of the
Argumentative Themes In Hollywood Film
Being considered a liberal or leftist became associated as a sign of subversion,
along with admitting to being a homosexual or being an atheist, and investigators
and the government did not want these liberal, possibly subversive themes in
Hollywood films as they were an extension of the American image, and values. Cole
points out how it is absurd to consider anyone who is a liberal to be considered a
communist saying that Communists may be said to be left of liberals only if one
thinks of the political line as a circle...where fascism and extreme right join . Coles
predicts that audiences will laugh at the idea of communist propaganda infiltrating
film, and comments that just because the committee disagrees with representation of

In other words, they would be taken out. The writer for The Washington Post article,
Political Affiliations mentions how being affiliated with the Communist Party is a
serious social and economic handicap and discusses how HUAC has encouraged that
the studios purge all Communists from their payrolls. Lewis argues that Hollywood
utilized the blacklist to fire individuals without reason, to cut expense and manage
labour but decreasing payroll costs, as a post war decline at the box office was
predicted. This may have been a factor however blacklisting as far as the government
and it s committees were concerned hindered Communists and Communist
sympathizers from getting work, which in turn affected them from making a living,
and kept them from sneaking in hard to detect communist s ideology for unsuspecting
viewers to be influenced by. Ceplair and Englund discuss the element of secrecy
which Communist party members in the United States maintained because of the
level of anti communist sentiment in the United States, and lacked a position within
the American polity , in comparison to a Communist Party member in France where a
citizen could openly join the party and attend meetings without being tried for
disloyalty towards the
Cordelia King Lear
In the Jacobean era, the natural order of the world was perceived as strict and
immutable. In King Lear, a tragic Shakespearean play, emphasis is also put on the
natural order, which specifically reveals a destiny for the characters in terms of
their roles in the social hierarchy. Shakespeare shows that adhering to one s social
order is heroic. He demonstrates this though Cordelia, Kent, and Edgar, who are
all initially out casted, and then reintegrated into the King s community through
adhering to their social order. Early on in the play, Cordelia is disowned by her
father, and then due to her selfless love for him, she heroically reintegrates herself
as the ideal youngest daughter according to the natural familial order. Cordelia is
rejected by her father when she is asked how much she loves him in order to justify
her portion of inherited land. Before arguing with her father, she tells him: Unhappy
that I am, I cannot heave My heart into my mouth. I love your majesty According to
my bond, no more, no less. (1.1.89 91)... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Lear unfortunately fails to see how her lack of skill to demonstrate her admiration
for him upsets her. When Cordelia says that she loves Lear like a father, her
honesty does not undermine her respect, but instead reveals her pure respect for
their bond. This perception allows Cordelia to adhere to the familial norm where
the youngest daughter is loved the most, which explains why Lear was particularly
upset by her vague response. Cordelia then decides to invade England in order to
save her father from the abuse of her two sisters. In preparation, she says
Analyzing Janos Liebner s The Magic Flute
Based upon my reading and understanding of The Magic Flute, it is accurate to say
that my views are closely related to that of Janos Liebner s perspective. In the
midst of reading this selection/opera, my thoughts varied more times than not. I
could see at the end of Act Two this piece being a colorful fairy tale. The ending
portrayed a norm we often correlate with fairytales, in which the queen is rescued by
her prince and there is trouble and conflict up to that point. As far as a historical
allegory, light and darkness, and a freemason s symbolic ceremony, The Magic Flute
showed plenty of representations and illustrative features. Some of the features
included the music, the repetition (the number 3), and the quest for wisdom and
enlightment. I enjoyed how a story was... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It is used to beat the many obstacles of trials and the community of Isis. First, it
showed wisdom and enlightment to Tamino and Papageno. Tamino witnessed that
Pamina s mother (the queen) cannot be trusted and has tricked him. We see this
when he visits the three temples. Next, Papageno, has lied and got punished for it.
It was not until he got the padlocks removed from his mouth by the three ladies that
he understood the bigger picture. This is how he won Papagena! The queen was
viewed as evil, but the whole time she was trying to protect her daughter. We see
here that the women were not all about nurture and love, but instead labeled as
bashful, emotional, and liars. The queen acted such way because she had a choice to
make. It was later known that her action was just that of a caring mother. The
correlation I am making here is that of anti feminism demonstrated. Pamina had to
remind Tamino that he had the flute. All in all, that flute was the golden key. Here,
we see a mother s and wife s natural nurturer instincts kick in. Sometimes women do
not do what they want to, but they do what they have to. That is a critical
Racism And Cultural Differences In Clint Eastwood s

Gran Torino, directed by Clint Eastwood, is a very moving and captivating drama.
When the story opens we see Walt Kowalski residing on his front porch drinking
beer, while simultaneously watching the world with a squint and a torrent of harsh
criticism. Walt has essentially no remaining family members, as his wife had just
recently passed away, and he wants nothing to do with his two successful sons. It s a
story about tolerance and cultural differences, but also one of hope, and unlikely
friendships. The film focuses on an highly racist and violent Asian neighborhood.
Ever since the recent surge of immigrants the neighborhood has gone down hill a
great deal. Walt s neighbors are the Lors, a Hmong family, and Walt does not trouble

King Tut Research Paper
King Tut was an Egyptian king that mysteriously died at age nineteen. The mystery
starts when Akhenaten, who is Tut s father marries Nefertiti and has Tut. After that,
Akhenaten marries another woman and has Ankhesenamun. Akhenaten was hieratic,
which means the belief in one God. Ancient Egyptians were polytheistic, which is the
belief in many, or multiple Gods. When Akhenatentried to turn the Egyptians
Monotheistic, (the religion in which a person believes in one God) they began to riet.
They disagreed and were angry with their king. Akhenaten was then killed, at this
time Tut was ten years old. Tut took over the throne and at age twelve, married his
half sister and cousin, Ankhesenamun. King Tut ruled with help from his chief
adviser Aye, and the highest ranking army general, horemheb.... Show more content

Ankhesenamun wrote a letter to the Hittites, who were Egypts enemy. She wrote
asking to marry one of his sons, they agreed, but the Hittites prince was was murdered
at Egypts border. I believe that Ankhesenamun accidently killed Tut, and tried to hide
it by marrying the Hittites prince. She didn t tell anyone for fear she would be killed,
that lead to the prince being killed at Egypts border. Then Aye found out that
Ankhesenamun killed Tut, and forced her into marriage, or he would tell. Then
Horemheb found out Ankhesenamun accidently killed Tut and sentenced her to
death. About four years later Aye leaked that he knew about Ankhesenamun
accidently killing Tut, and he too was sentenced to
Should Speed Limits Be Allowed
I feel that the regulation of speed limits is acceptable. It s safe and responsible when
driving on certain roads. Having limitations on the speed limits reduces deaths and
injuries from car crashes. Additionally, having reduced speed limits near parks and
schools, protects the community and the children living there. People should feel a
sense of obligation to follow the speed limits when they drive.
First, I feel when driving with speed limitations make it safer and responsible for
drivers. Without these limitations, it can put people at risk of car crashes. Car crashes
occur every day, so imagine if there were no speed limits at all how many crashes
would occur. No one will know how fast or how slow to go for the person ahead or
behind
Is Justified True Belief Knowledge Edmund Gettier
In his 1963 article Is Justified True Belief Knowledge? , Edmund Gettier pointed out
the fault in the traditional definition of knowledge and presented two
counterexamples. The problem created by the two counterexamples is called the
Gettier problem. In detail, the Gettier problem is whether a true beliefbased on invalid
reasons counts as knowledge. My own Gettier counterexample is as follows. One
day, my dad and I went to Costco Gas Station and there were already a lot of cars
waiting for gasoline filling. So we queued in the last. When we were the next one to
use the pump, there were two cars using the pumps, with one in the front and the
other following it. My dad then asked me, of the two cars in front of us, which one
would leave first.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The belief cannot be accidentally true. Thus, what qualifies a true belief as
knowledge is its reliable linkage to the facts that make the belief true. A belief
must not only be true but also track the facts . By tracking the facts , we mean it
satisfy the variation and adherence conditions. The variation condition is that if p
were not true, then S would not believe that p. The adherence condition is that if p
were, contrary to fact, true, then S would believe that p. Nozick s account of
knowledge is as the following: S knows that P if and only if P is true, S believes
that P, and S s belief is reliably true. The third condition is consisted of variation
and adherence conditions. He passes each Gettier case to the four conditions to see
which condition does not satisfy. If a case fails any of the four conditions, then it
is not a knowledge and the test does not need to continue any more. Gettier cases
usually fail the variation condition as we can see from Gettier s original example
and the Fake Barn case. In Gettier s original example, if we assume it were false
that the man who will get the job has 10 coins in his pocket, then Smith would still
believe that the man who will get the job has 10 coins in his pocket because the
boss would still say that Jones gets the job. Similarly, in the Fake Barn case, if we
assume it were false that what Henry

What Characters Do We Meet in The First Four Chapters of Jane Eyre And What Are
They Like?
First, we meet Jane, she is a smart, quick witted girl who seems to be on a journey
of becoming a strong willed young woman. She lives with her aunt and cousins
who spend their time oppressing Jane. Aunt Reed seems to see Jane more as a
nuisance that has been laid on her by her late husband. John Reed seems to be one
of the main oppressors along with his mother, he both physically harms Jane and
verbally abuses her. Georgiana and Eliza seem in the background of these first
chapters, they do not seem to like Jane either. While Jane is being abused by their
brother they do not take Jane s side but instead John Reed s.
Bessie seems to be the only kind one to Jane singing her songs and stories and
showing her love. Bessie is the maid at Gateshead along with Abbott who is not very
kind to Jane. Mr. Lloyd is Janes doctor after she faints from being in the red room,
he is kind and listens to Jane and suggest that she goes to school. finally, we meet
Mr. Brocklehurst who is the head master at Lowood who seems to be a cruel man
who suggests that Jane is a bad child with barely even eyeing her.
What Are the Living Conditions Like at Lowood?
Lowood is very close to not survivable, when the food is edible, which isn t often it
is lacking in flavor and nutrients. When the food is inedible the children must wait
until the next meal to eat unless one of the teachers Ms. Temple decides to feed the
Wright Brothers Real Life Hero
If you were asked who s your real life hero, who would you say? Some people
might say. Their real life hero, or heroes are Orville and Wilbur Wright. Although
most of the time people just say the Wright Brothers. The Wright Brothers made
the first airplane in 1903. Wilbur Wright always liked finding out how things
worked and building things. When Wilbur and Orville where kids they would oil
an old sewing machine that their friends mom owned because, they wanted to
learn how it worked.(Site). As a job they would fold newspapers and they got
bored of the long process so they invented a machine to do it for them and get the
job done faster.(Site). Wilbur and Orville always liked inventing new things. Orville
never liked school. He skipped school after the first few days and went to his friends
house to study the sewing machine. He would spend days finding out new things
about the sewing machine. They would oil the sewing machine with water because
they didn t have oil(Site). When their friends mom found out she didn t mind because
it was old and she bought them some oil so they could use it better.... Show more

joking at the time but later on he
Comparing Social Norms in My Last Duchess by Robert...
When one travels, it is easy to observe differences in social norms from country to
country. One may also observe differences within a country, for example, the social
norms of a small town or village versus those of a large metropolis. Differences in
social norms can also be observed in literature. This essay will focus on two dramatic
monologues, which were written by poets who lived in England during the same
period. Robert Browningpublished My last Duchessin 1842, the same year that Alfred
Tennyson published Ulysses. Both poets lived in England during the Victorian era.
However, by examining characters from their poetry, namely Alfonso in My Last
Duchess and Odysseus in Ulysses, we can see that they express opposite norms

In contrast, Tennyson s Odysseus doesn t cling to the power, even though he has
his own kingdom, which allows him to control his people. Instead, he chooses to
leave the sceptre and the isle to his son, Telemachus (Line 34) (Tennyson 645). Then
he says, When I am gone. [Telemachus] works his works (Line 43) (Tennyson 645).
For this, he has no hesitation to lose his power over people.
[He] cannot rest from travel: [He] will drink Life to the less: all times [he has]
enjoyed Greatly, [has] a suffered greatly (Line 6 8) (Tennyson 645). Odysseus
feels comfort from going around in his past, but now he can t feel it from
unchanged things like staying only in his island to do almost same thing every
day. As he says that how dull it is to pauses, resting from his journey is not a great
moment for him (Line 22) (Tennyson 645). As we can expect, he should live in
luxury more than the other people in his country because he is a kind. But, he
expresses that as to rust unburnished, not to shine in use (Line 23) (Tennyson 645).
Life that he is away from finding new things doesn t mean anything for him. What s
more, he mentions that gleams that untravelled world (Line 20) (Tennyson 645).
Odysseus considers the something new shines on his life and to meet a change isn t
fear. However, Alfonso is opposite from Odysseus. He is afraid of something
changes. That s why he kills his wife, and puts his last wife
Littering Research Paper
Did you know that littering could damage the environment. I believe that people
should pick up trash and not litter everywhere it could be a fire hazard also it is bad
for people s health and it is bad for the environment. littering is a fire hazard. Also it
is bad for the environment and it s bad for people s health. people s health cares and
if we don t pick up the trash and stop littering we will be endangered and so make
sure up stop littering and pick all of it up.
You should be careful when you throw trash on the ground or lite of lanterns into the
sky. All of the littercould kill animals. The lanterns in the sky probably cause
wildfires. I don t think people would like to be an animal so we should get up off our

Essay on Nietzsche
Nietzsche
I think that the three questions that I will try to find answers are highly
interconnected with each other and because of this reason, I will not answer them
separately. I will be answering them without order.
First of all, from my interpretation of Nietzsche, modern humanity did not invent the
idea of God. Rather the God had a functional role from his point of view. There is no
doubt that, modern humanity had the idea of God, but in my opinion, this idea was
like a heritage to the modern humanity from their ancestors. We should look at the
earlier times of the history in order to understand the roots of the invention of God.
At this point, I agree with Magnus opinion, as he asserts that at the early moments of
the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Will to power in Nietzsche can be seen as a natural disposition. But now the critical
point comes, because the human beings misinterpreted the Will to power , it became
a part the bad conscience.
Human beings needed internal comfort or let us say peace of mind. So what was
vital to achieve this? They needed to legitimize their brutal and illogical practices
and experiences. So, after all we see that people invented the idea of God to do that.
As people felt more and more indebt ness to their ancestors and also achieve more
and more superiorities, they victimized new borne beings. So bad conscience was
some sort of an interconnection between the ancestors and the following generations.
As I said earlier, the ancestors began to represent God. So from my point of view, it
was the will to power and also the legitimizing the violence of people behind the
invention of the God. I can give many examples at this point. For example in the
second essay of Genealogy of Morals , it is said that Trojan War was a part of the
God s Festival. I think that people legitimized the war by creating God. Also they
used the God motive behind the reason of war. Also apart from Nietzsche, I want to
give another example. When we look at the Holy Wars, we observe that the main
effective motive seems to be the religious reasons, but I do not think that it is the
case. It was the objective of conquering and maintaining power in those regions both
politically and

  • 1. How To Write A Analytical Essay Crafting an essay on the intricacies of composing an analytical essay may seem deceptively simple at first glance, yet delving into the task reveals a challenging endeavor. The difficulty arises not merely from the technical aspects of elucidating the steps involved, but rather from the nuanced understanding required to convey the essence of analytical writing. To begin with, there is the intricate balance between analysis and interpretation. One must navigate the fine line of dissecting the subject matter while avoiding subjective biases. The challenge lies in fostering an objective viewpoint that dissects the topic methodically, without succumbing to personal opinions that may cloud the analytical process. Moreover, the demand for a coherent structure adds another layer of complexity. Crafting a logical progression of ideas requires a meticulous approach to organizing thoughts, ensuring each paragraph seamlessly flows into the next. The essay's effectiveness hinges on the writer's ability to present a compelling argument, supported by evidence and examples, within a well-structured framework. Furthermore, grappling with the depth of research required for a comprehensive analysis poses a substantial hurdle. The challenge lies in synthesizing this diverse information into a cohesive narrative that reflects a nuanced understanding of the subject. Additionally, the mastery of language is paramount. Striking the right balance between clarity and sophistication is no easy feat. • 2. Essay on Congressman Steve Cohen As the current representative of the 9th district of Tennessee, Democratic Congressman Steve Cohen has emerged as a tactful candidate with goals in mind to help better the lives of his constituents through his representative style and his home style. Theory I: Redistricting, Gerrymandering, and Candidate Emergence A congressional district is an electoral division of a state, electing and entitled to send one member to the United State House of Representatives. Districting is the initial set district, whereas redistricting is the process of drawing district boundaries after the decennial census and new population changes. Redistricting is a political process that affects the fortunes of incumbent House members, state legislators,... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Since then, gerrymandering has been used to gain partisan advantage and to shape the political projections of politicians and racial and ethnic groups. The two most common gerrymandering techniques include packing and cracking, disappointingly both waste valuable votes in doing so. Packing has both an offensive and defensive strategy. Offensively, packing is to fill a district with many voters of one type to create a safe seat; typically used in partisan gerrymandering. Defensively, packing is to compress voters of one type into as few districts as possible to dilute their influence elsewhere. However, cracking is to spread as many voters of one type into as many districts as possible to dilute their influence; typically used in racial gerrymandering. Partisan and Racial gerrymandering are two common forms of gerrymandering. Partisan gerrymandering is the manipulation of districts to increase members of a specific party by drawing district lines on the basis of party identification. Racial gerrymandering is drawing district lines on the basis of race; possibly leading to a majority minority district. After the ratification of the Fifteenth Amendment granting former slaves the right to vote, many southern states implemented a variety of methods to prevent the adoption of the new law. The Voting Rights Act (VRA) of 1965 was the solution to the unfair methods implemented. It removed the

  • 4. To Rap Or Not To Rap Essay The music industry is always growing and trying to solicit new music to get higher ratings. The music industry s role in promoting negative music has been a hot topic for many years. What is too often under reported is how young people, including incarcerated youth, are directly impacted by the music. That quote came from an article called Seb is Hip Hop . All a person has to do is turn on their radio to a mainstream station and they to can get taste of the carnage. Rap and hip hop are two of many genres that get a lot of attention for their violence, drug use, and degrading sexism towards women. • 5. Essay On Should Athletes Get Paid Too Much To be successful in today s society, there is one word that comes to mind, money. Money controls people, motivates people, and is essentially the drive for many of the decisions a person makes in their life. The American government does what they can to make success possible for the majority of citizens, yet over 46 million Americans are living in poverty. How can it be that the wealthiest nation in the world has so many people living in poverty? What is all of our money being put towards? While there are many good answers for this question, one is in the corrupt world of professional athlete salaries. The amount of money put into professional athletics is unbelievably too much. We have so many hardworking, underpaid Americans who deserve... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... So it would make sense that these people deserve salaries that put them above everybody on the wealth scale. These people are required to spend a large amount of money and time to get where they are, so why do they make just a fraction of what athletes make? To be more specific, an average doctor has to work everyday for 76 years to make what professional boxer Floyd Mayweather makes in a single fight, even if he loses. A backup quarterback may never play a single snap in a game but he still will make three times as much as surgeon on average. If that isn t enough, how about the fact that in one week the Brooklyn Nets starting five players make just slightly less than all nine supreme court justices make in a year. There is no doubt that athletes do spend just as much time and money, if not more, as those who have professional occupations, but it all comes down to what each occupation group really does for the country. Our country simply could not function without people like Doctors, Surgeons, Engineers, and government officials, and while we may think we could not function without sports, we could. So why should a occupation that does nothing but entertain people make much more than the people that keep the country

Reading The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens I saw many ways each habitpertained to my life. Some I felt I practiced fairly well while reading about a few others I knew I needed a little work. That wasn t very cool of them, but I won t let that ruin my week . My friend couldn t believe what I was saying. Usually I would be the one that would just let it all boil up until I blew up on someone. Being proactive in this situation really felt great. It was a good start. James Baldwin is a renowned author for bringing his experience to literature. He grew up Harlem in the 1940 s and 1950 s, a crucial point in history for America due to the escalading conflict between people of different races marked by the race riots of Harlem and Detroit. This environment that Baldwin grew up in inspires and influences him to write the narrative Notes of a Native Son, which is based on his experience with racism and the Jim Crow Laws. He was also a conserved man who secluded himself like a prophet, such as Tiresias, the prophet from Oedipus who lived isolated from society. He was marked with an inability to establish contact with others, except perhaps with his neighborhood which he left only hostility and uncharitable asperity. (67) However, his failure in social relationships also stretched, even though to one so close as to be called family, to his son James Baldwin. This led Baldwin to hate his father for what he was. Baldwin s father was detested as much by Baldwin as his siblings. Baldwin explains: When he took one of his children on his knee to play, the child always became fretful and began to cry; when he tried to help one of us with our homework the absolutely unabating tension which emanated from him caused our minds and our tongues to become paralyzed, so that he, scarcely knowing why, flew into a rage and the child, not knowing why, was punished. (65) It would seem that this man was a failure as a father. This passage, coming from the father s son, would undoubtedly have experienced this first hand. While using words such as us and our, Baldwin evokes an image of the pain him and his siblings went through. His presence was enough to paralyze a child when trying to help it with homework. When trying to comfort a child by playing with it, he only vexed the child further, causing it to cry. Baldwin depicts

  • 11. The Definition Of Fearless By Adam Brown Fearless, what does it mean? Fearless can be used in many different scenarios. With Adam Brown, he was fearless in many different ways. He was fearless in his faith with God, in his overcoming of drug addiction, with his family and friends, and even on the battlefield. He went through many situations in his life that people would normally find crazy or terrifying, but he had dealt with without fear. Adam was the perfect example of the definition of fearless. The definition of fearless is lacking fear. Some synonyms would be brave, courageous, heroic, and daring. In this novel it is apparent that Adam is described as all of these words. Adam has been known to be fearless since the beginning. On page 13 it says, Soon after his second birthday, Janice glanced out the living room window and saw that Adam had pushed a chair across the back porch and was using it to climb up on the railing twelve feet above the ground. As a two year old he climbed up 12 feet and jumped off the railing. He was not afraid of getting hurt, he knew that if he got hurt he would just get right back up and it would be perfectly fine. His fearlessness had carried on as he got older and was really helpful in his sports. For example, on page 28 the author explained how Adam wouldn t give up in football during the Alley Drill after getting pummeled and pummeled. The only way he would stop is when the coaches would finally call the drill. Adam was determined to be the best in football and him not being afraid of failure really helped him out with that. On page 34, Adam had decided to jump off the bridge from a moving vehicle. He saw a video of Navy SEALS doing it, and right then and there he felt like he needed to do it too. A bunch of his friends had told him that it was dangerous and there was no way they were doing it, This shows Adams fearlessness as well. Adam s fearlessness had helped him with his friends and his family. For example, on page 40 41 Adam had walked up to a guy who was threatening to shoot him and his friends with a shotgun, and told him to shoot him. They were driving around one night and some guys from Little Rock had almost swerved them off the road. Adam and his friends had confronted them. These guys ended up

Singleton EDU 7253 Legal Environment of Higher Education June 21, 2015 Abstract In light of recent court cases such as O Bannon v. National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), the issue of whether intercollegiate student athletes should be compensated for their athletic appearances on behalf of colleges has been featured in the news and been the subject of much scholarly writing. Some of the major streams of literature focus on the pros and cons of pay for play by looking at existing laws in the United States, the concept of amateurism, and the primary mission of colleges and universities. As institutions of higher education and the NCAA continue to battle over the appropriate role of profit and amateurism in college athletics, this topic is important for anyone considering higher education administration as a career as it impacts all colleges participating in intercollegiate athletics. Sun Yat sen was exiled in the United States during the events of the Wuchang Uprising of October 10th, 1911, hearing about it through a newspaper publication in Denver, Colorado.[1] Many Historians view Sun s accession as the provisional President of the Republic of China, directly following the revolution, as due to his position as a compromise candidate (Bergere, Marie Clare, Sun Yat sen, 1994, p. 12). In Japan, Sun Yat sen joined dissident Chinese groups, a pre cursor to the Tongmenghui, becoming their leader and gaining a large amount of financial support from Japanese democratic revolutionary, Miyazaki Toten.[6] Sun Yat Sen smuggled this financial aid into China through his supporters, directly financing weapons and ammunitions, much of which was utilised in the revolution by the New Army. Sun Yat sen s ideology remained flexible; this had a homogenising effect on the revolutionary factions involved in the Wuchang rebellion and more widely, the Xinhai Revolution. Sun Yat sen s political ideologies reflected their intended audience as much as his personal convictions. He presented himself as a strident nationalist to the nationalists, as a socialist to the socialists and an anarchist to the anarchists, declaring in 1898, the goal of the three principles of the people is to create socialism and

Although I appreciated her sense of hospitality, her oblivious gesture had forced me to reflect on one of the most pressing issues facing the planet today, which was ironically also the one least discussed by average people. Wastebuildup or the cause of major pollution, severe health problems and safety issues of the millions living in poverty have remained an issue in the past century due to a major divide in the definition. For approximately half of the world s population, the word waste , can be defined as its disposal is not an issue . For the other half, waste , is a constant reminder that the conditions they face will forever be only their issue . One may argue that waste culture is a direct result of the prosperity of the industrial revolution, the obsession with untouched hygienic food in the Victorian era or the media s constant ingraining of disposable items as a symbol of class, convenience and freedom. However, the primary impact of these turning points lies in the precedent they set for waste management. Country History of Afghanistan Country History of Afghanistan Throughout history Afghanistan has served as a focal point for the movement of people, goods, and ideas due to its central location linking East Asia with that of the Arabian Peninsula. The land has seen conflict and warfare with the passage of great empires to include those of Alexander the Great, the Ghaznavids, three Anglo Afghan wars, the Soviet Afghan war, as well as the GWOT, of which Afghanistanplays an integral role. The independent, fractious, and culturally diverse Afghanistan we see today is a direct derivative of its unique history and geography which has been dominated by external influence for centuries. Early written history of Afghanistan reaches back to the time of Alexander the Great (c. 330 BCE). Afghanistan has been occupied by multiple empires throughout its history and has enjoyed significant trade hubs due to its location along the Silk Road, most notably the Afghan cities of Balkh and Herat, the latter of which continues to be of economic significance due to its proximity to Iran. For the purposes of this paper we will examine the recent history of Afghanistan which encompasses the 20th and 21st centuries, however, it is important to note that significant outside interference has affected the sovereignty of Afghanistan throughout its history. The present day borders are a direct result of the Durrani Empire which ruled for nearly a century until British intervention in what quickly became known as The Great Game,

Climate change has led to global warming that has affected many countries in terms of weather variation, flooding, poverty, and desertification. While the great debate rages over whether to apply the constraints previously agreed on, climate change continues to have its toll on the environment (Goldenberg 2015). Owing to the devastating impacts of climate change over the years, the world leading environmental bodies need to apply some constraints to corporations, individuals, and nations to curb the menace. Without a concerted effort towards cutting carbon emissions, the planet will get only warmer. Of course, the possible restrictions may not be palatable to all nations, individuals, and corporations. It is so because such limitations may curtail some freedoms previously enjoyed by various countries, organizations, and people (Pielke, 2015). In this respect, this paper examines the kinds of constraints that when applied to corporations, nations, and individuals, will curb the climate change menace, and the potential conflicts with such measures. Due to the nature of cellulite, effective treatment would need to repair and strengthen the dermis as well as expel the fat protrusion back underneath the dermis. Retinoids are thought to increase dermal collagen fibres, allowing the dermis to prevent further herniation of fat as the collagen deposition makes the dermis much stronger, therefore reducing the appearance of cellulite. Endermologie is a hand held mechanical system used to simulate manual massages of the skin. It is hypothesized that it is able to reduce the appearance of cellulite by causing damages to the subcutaneous fat cells by positive (rolling) and negative (suction) pressures, disrupting fat cells and allowing for better distribution of subcutaneous fat. The long pulsed 1064 nm neodymium yttrium aluminium garnet (Nd:YAG) produces a non specific dermal heat to trigger a wound healing response resulting in

The Human Condition Analysis The Human Condition in Music Throughout time, artists, musicians, and composers have been using their various artforms as an outlet, a way to express themselves in a way rather than written word or oral expression. For these artists, many times composition and performing music allows them to study the human condition in a deeper, more personalized, yet relatable way, much like Arthur Miller exhibited in Death of a Salesman. Those who choose to contribute in artistic advances such as drawing, painting, literature, theater, or music are continually pressured to convey more emotion within their works. For example, Ella Fitzgerald s 1958 rendition of Blue Skies uses a presto tempo and E major key to suggest the same feelings as Arthur Miller wished to convey by describing how Willy Loman believes the aristocrats must feel. To similarly convey this, Ella sings, I never saw the sun shining so bright, never saw things going so right. Willy believes that the aristocrats must feel similarly to this due to the fact that to Willy everything seems to be going deplorably. Willy believes that if one is not plagued with the idea of being unable to provide for his family, then they must be living as Fitzgerald suggests. • 33. The Creation Of New Inventions If people are the same, can the creation of new inventions come into existence? How can society and individuals improve if there are no differences? In fact, innovation comes from the mind, but the uniqueness of people has led to these creations. Ever since the first incandescent lightbulb to the present age of rockets and computers, these inventions are what have helped society progress forward into a new era of life. However, how can people comprehend that a single person has created a complex innovation? To explain, a quote describing how to succeed in inventing while facing several obstacles is the analogy of the confrontation between the stream and the rock, the stream always wins, not through strength but by perseverance ( A quote by H. Jackson Brown Jr. ). Going into detail, to overcome an obstacle does not mean physical strength is necessary to succeed, but through mental qualities is where success truly appears. For instance, making mistakes on a test can motivate a person to persevere and improve on the exam. Nevertheless, its creation comes from individuals, but not all humans can invent a revolutionizing innovation. Why? The characteristics of a person are how an inventionis born. Inventors, such as Thomas Edison, did not revolutionize the world by sheer strength, but by their mental capabilities to achieve what they wanted to present to the world. That is their persona. People s persona shows the aspect of their character and the presentation of who they

The tendency increases because the passive stability structures, the ligaments, become loose. The key then is to optimize the other stability structures. To strengthen your ankles do range of motion exercises. Try writing the alphabet with your ankle, so that you are moving the ankle in all directions. You can also get rubber strengthening bands and perform the same exercises with resistance. Single leg toe raises, where you go up on your tiptoes while standing on one leg might also help. The adherence condition is that if p were, contrary to fact, true, then S would believe that p. Essay on Nietzsche Nietzsche I think that the three questions that I will try to find answers are highly interconnected with each other and because of this reason, I will not answer them separately. I will be answering them without order. First of all, from my interpretation of Nietzsche, modern humanity did not invent the idea of God. Rather the God had a functional role from his point of view. There is no doubt that, modern humanity had the idea of God, but in my opinion, this idea was like a heritage to the modern humanity from their ancestors. We should look at the earlier times of the history in order to understand the roots of the invention of God. At this point, I agree with Magnus opinion, as he asserts that at the early moments of the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Will to power in Nietzsche can be seen as a natural disposition. But now the critical point comes, because the human beings misinterpreted the Will to power , it became a part the bad conscience. Human beings needed internal comfort or let us say peace of mind. So what was vital to achieve this? They needed to legitimize their brutal and illogical practices and experiences. So, after all we see that people invented the idea of God to do that. As people felt more and more indebt ness to their ancestors and also achieve more and more superiorities, they victimized new borne beings. So bad conscience was some sort of an interconnection between the ancestors and the following generations. As I said earlier, the ancestors began to represent God. So from my point of view, it was the will to power and also the legitimizing the violence of people behind the invention of the God. I can give many examples at this point.
