Used Home Sharing to Connect One iTunes
Library with Multiple Computers.
Some Archived Notes
• AppleScripts for iTunes – iTunes script solutions for Windows.
• MusicSearch.vbs – a script that would take the selected track in Internet Explorer to
search in our library catalog for the CD.
• Created an XSLT stylesheet to link to and style the XML code that iTunes generates.
Users outside the library could see a webpage of our digitized music collection that
linked directly to iTunes where they could either check out our library-owed CDs or
consider purchasing it through iTunes.
• Was working on linking the iTunes XML code with our OPAC and the GraceNote
MusicID database.
• Downloaded Yale music podcasts, a few TED Talks and other lectures, some NPR All
Songs Considered podcasts for inclusion in the iTunes library. I was going to add SPC’s
iTunes U podcasts once they were “open source” and other requested podcasts to
help enhance this digital collection.

Over 2,000 records were donated by a
doctor from Pasadena, Florida and
stored at the Palladium Theatre. Most
of the collection is in great shape and
includes a broad range of Classical,
Jazz, Blues, and Musicals.
