2. Examples:
 The launch is made by my mother.
 The homework were made by myself.
 Extraterrestrial life hasn’t been discovered
yet.
 The course will be over in seven months.
 This PowerPoint going to be sent any soon.
 The job should’ve been done by the other
man.

3. ¿What’s the pasive voice?
Its used to give more emphasis to the action
made than to the one who does it.

4. When do we use it?
 When you dont know who does the action.
 Evade naming who does it.
 You cannot use pasive voice with intransitive
verbs like:
 Die.
 Arrive.
 Go.

5. How do we use it?
 Affirmative:
SUBJECT + AM / IS / ARE /WAS / WERE / HAS
BEEN… + PRESENT/PAST PERFECT
PHRASE.
+ THE REST OF THE
 Negative:
SUBJECT + 'M NOT / ISN'T / AREN'T / WASN’T /
WEREN’T / HAS BEEN… + PRESENT/PAST PERFECT +
THE REST OF THE PHRASE.

6.  Interrogative:
AM / IS / ARE / WAS / WERE / HAS BEEN…+ SUBJECT
+ PRESENT/PAST PERFECT + THE REST OF THE PHRASE.
 Short answers:
“Yes, it is./No, it isn’t.”
“Yes, they are./No, they aren’t.”
“Yes, it was./No, it wasn’t”
“Yes, they were./No, they weren’t”

7. Active  Pasive
-The “active” order is:
Subject + verb + object
-To make it “pasive” we just need to reverse it
and add the proper verb tense:
Object + is / are / am / were / was … + Subject
