This document provides step-by-step instructions for installing a WordPress subdomain through cPanel. 4. Let’s
log-in
to your
Webhost.

5. Enter your Account Details..

6. Click Submit

7. You will see this..

8. Click Cpanel.

9. Scroll down..

10. Search for File Manager..

11. Hover your mouse at public_html

12. Click public_html

13. Click New Folder

14. You will see this..

15. Enter filename of the Folder..

16. Here is the Folder newly Created.

17. Click the folder Virtual assistant.

18. You must see Directory is Empty.

19. Go back at Cpanel.

20. Search for Database tools..

21. Click MySQL Database..

22. You will see this..

23. Enter

of database
you want to
create..

24. Click Create
Database.

27. You will Go back at MySQL Databases..

28. See Current Database..

29. Scroll down..

30. Create mySQL Username..

Let’s Install
Wordpress
at Cpanel..

44. Go to Wordpress.org..

45. Click DownloadWordpress.org..

46. After wordpress file was
downloaded at zip format..
Go back at File Manager..

47. Click Virtual assistant folder..

48. Click New Folder..

49. Enter name of folder..

50. Click Create new folder..

51. You will see this..

52. Then Upload Wordpress zip file at
the newly created folder..

53. Click Upload..

54. Choose file..

55. Click the
file you have
chosen to
download then
click open..

56. You will see this file is uploading..

57. After file was completely uploaded..

58. Right click
the
wordpress
zip folder..

59. Then click Extract file..

60. You will see this extraction results..

62. See the Wordpress folder added..

63. Open the wordpress folder..

65. Click Move File..

67. Delete the word Wordpress..

68. Click Move file..

Va folder
and search for
wp-config-sample.php

71. Right click to
rename
wp-config-sample.php
into wp-config.php

72. Right
click again the
renamed
wp-config.php

73. Click Code Edit..

74. Click Edit..

75. Don’t worry you will only
change the SQL settings..

76. Remember the one
you created at
MySQL databases?

77. You will encode it here..

78. After you
changed the
settings click
Save..

79. Notice that settings was saved successfully..

80. Open a new link at web browser then search
for the domain name plus the file that you
created at public_html..
Ex: www.lynnearcangeles.com/virtualassistant/va

81. Once your
installation is
successful you
will see this..

82. Select your language and click continue..

83. Fill-out the Info Sheet and click
Install Wordpress..

84. You will see this once Installation of
WordPress is a success..

85. Log-in on your
WordPress account
using this
information..

86. To log-in at WordPress account, open a new
link at web browser and search your
subdomain name plus wp-admin/
Ex: www.lynnearcangeles.com/virtualassistant/va/wp-admin

87. Fill-out
info and click
log-in..

88. You will see this Wordpress dashboard .

89. Easy right ?
Hmmmnnn.. Actually, when I first
attempted to do this it took me 24hrs before
I finally figured it out :)
