- 3. First of all you need to find your font, but to achieve this look you’ll need a big bold font like this one, as you’ll need to colour in the font. Once you’ve chosen your font, copy and paste it into Photoshop. When you’re ready to edit and colour in your font. Click on select, and then go to colour range. The colour you want to select is the white back ground, by doing this you’re deleting the white space within the font, allowing you to put your own colour in.
- 4. Once you’ve deleted the white space, you then need to select the white colour range again, but this time, afterwards you need to select a colour from the chart rather than click delete. DON’T DELETE THE COLOUR SELECTED!!! When you’ve selected the colour range, you’ll see the ‘marching Click this tool here to select your ants’ around your font. chosen colour.
- 5. Once you’ve chosen your colour, click on the tin of paint, this will then allow you to colour in your font. At the top of your screen, this bar will then appear. Click on the opacity levels, a scale bar will then appear, by changing this scale, your colour will either come out lighter, or darker. It’s up to you to decide. For this example, I added bevel and emboss, as well as an outer and inner glow.
