How do you write a
 research paper?
Lets start of with
 some definitions
 to get the brain
      working
Definitions
• In-text Citations: references
  within the body of the text that
  identify the author and page number
  from which the information was
  taken
• Research: Investigation into a
  subject in order to discover facts, to
  establish or revise a theory, or to
  develop a plan of action based on the
  facts discovered

• Introduction: a section at the
  beginning of a piece of writing that
  summarizes what it is about or sets
  the scene
• Conclusion: the part that brings
  something to a close
• Thesis: a statement that
  summarizes the paper

• Bibliography: a complete list of all
  sources used in text of the paper,
  organized alphabetically by author or
  title
• Note Cards: a student will write on
  these when they find information
  about their topic
