The eye contains several key parts that work together to allow vision. Light enters through the cornea and pupil, and is focused by the lens onto the retina. The retina contains light-sensitive cells that transmit signals to the brain via the optic nerve. Nearsightedness occurs when the eye is too long, causing images to focus in front of the retina, while farsightedness happens when the eye is too short and images focus behind the retina. These conditions can be corrected using lenses or refractive surgery like LASIK. Other eye conditions include glaucoma and cataracts.
Why Eye check is important?
(Just close your eyes for a minute, we cant imagine living in darkness) That itself make us aware how important vision is !
7 reasons to check your vision;
Early detection of onset of disease.
Disease related complications can be avoided.
Silent Killers of vision like Glaucoma & Diabetic
Retinopathy can be detected & controlled.
Fluctuations in the power can be detected.
Working continuously in front of Computer can cause Computer Vision Syndrome & Dry eye.
So early detection can reduce the complications.
It is recommended to have eye check once in atleast 6 months.

All through my school and college life, i had 1 problem... i could not cheat... i was scared to look into the paper of the person sitting next to me... hence, i always wished there was a fool proof way of cheating... i thought it would be nice to flip through pages and find information right there in the brain... thaz when i thought of a product called cheat lenses... now, i am pursuing my MBA and was given an assignment to come up with an innovative product... and suddenly, i remembered about my wishlist of things i wish existed... and right there at the top was cheat lenses.. so i did a lot of googling (if that is a word) and tried to find out if the product exist... When i was sure, that it does not exist... i went ahead with the project: Cheat Lenses... to fill up the slides... i searched info on contacts... so, most info present till slide 7 is from wiki... and then my brain starts!!!
i enjoyed making the presentation... i hope you will enjoy reading the same! Also, i renamed my product from cheat lenses to empowered lenses because according to our sales management teacher and our marketing management teacher, we should not use negative words while trying to sell a product... so read on to find out how my imaginary cheat lenses can empower you!!! I sincerely believe that this product should be brought into existence... Hello Mr. Scientist... do you hear my plea???

Creative Hi-Tech would like to share some basics of Printed Circuit Boards which will help you to gain some knowledge before going to any vendor. This power point presentation will clear your basic doubts regarding the PCB.
PCBA Assembly Process Flow / PCB Assembly Manufacturing introduces the basic manufacturing process of PCBA / PCB assembly in different condition of component. It is about PCBA manufacture production.
Our PCB 101 Presentation goes through the processes involved in manufacturing a printed circuit board.
From a simple single sided board to a complex multi-layer, double sided surface mount design, our goal is to provide you a design that meets your requirements and is the most cost effective to manufacture. Our experience in IPC Class III standards, very stringent cleanliness requirements, heavy copper and production tolerances allow us to provide our customers exactly what they need for their end product.
Dear Doctor,
Its humbling that you liked the presentation and would like to use it for your purpose. Kindly find your requested presentation attached with this email.

As we near eradication of this dreaded disease - "POLIO", we would like to share the following presentation we made for our Pediatrics seminar in 2012.
Best attempts have been made to cover most of the topic, keeping the size under 100 slides.
Hope you like it.

This presentation includes the description of human eye - it's parts, defects of human eye and their correction methods, concept of power of accommodation of human eye and care of human eye.
POWERPOINT NOT MINE. CREDITS TO THE RIGHTFUL OWNER. I JUST SHARED IT HERE SO I CAN PUT A LINK TO MY BLOG. I'M TOO LAZY TO TYPE ALL THESE ONE BY ONE LOL
As we get older, the lens inside the eye gradually becomes misty or cloudy. When the vision becomes hazy, the condition is known as cataract. Cataract still continues to be the leading cause of treatable blindness. This condition can be treated by surgery which can also be done when you have other eye diseases like diabetic retinopathy or glaucoma.
1. How can eyesight
Sarah
What is the eye ?
When light hits an object it bounces and reflects into your eyes,
your eyes have there own light bending parts called the lens and
cornea. The lens and cornea focus light into your retina. The cornea
is the outer part of the eye, collecting the light thats bouncing off
objects, it focuses light through a whole quite small. The iris is the
colored part of the eye, and your pupil is the black spot we have at
the center of our eyes, if it is dark the pupil will expand to let as
much light in as possible, so you can see better. Behind the pupil is
the lens, the part of the eye that focus light onto the back of your
eyeball the lens is clear and curve, it can also change it shape
depending on what you are focusing on (its kinda like the lens on
your camera). On the back of your eye is a layer of “tissue” called
the retina, it is covered in photoreceptive nerve cells, there are
cones and rods, rods and cones are sensitive to light, but only rods
can detect color. So the lens projects an image onto your retina,
where the rods and cones transform the light and color into electrical impulses. these are transmitted to the optic
nerve in your brain, then your brain decodes an image and then you can see !
Farsighted eyesight
Nearsighted eyesight
Other people’s cornea focuses the image behind
Certain peoples corneas are not shaped correctly, the retina which means they are farsighted,
so they focus the image in front of the retina, when things will look clear far but blurry close, using

are nearsighted. Putting a concave lens on your
eyes will re-focus the light on your retina.
How do we cure these
changes ?
How do these changes occur ? Some people choose do LASIK eye surgery, where the
doctor uses a laser to reshape your cornea, after the
Some people are born with these problems where
surgery the cornea will focus the light close enough
right at there birth there corneas are not shaped
to retina. Some people just wears glasses and goes to

you stare at something for too long and continue to
do it, you have a chance of getting nearsighted, for
example staring at your computer screen 24/7, and
look really close, you will have a chance of becoming
nearsighted. But with farsightedness you can only get
it naturally.
How can you protect your eyes ?
Some things we can do to protect our eyes are ;
wear sunglasses and hats on bright days, don’t
watch t.v. or computer for too long or your eyes
will get hurt, never look directly to the sun for
more then 3 seconds it is very dangerous, and

changes ?
Of course, besides nearsighted and farsighted
there is, Glaucoma - Glaucoma is a disease
characterized by damage to the optic nerve, a
nerve in your brain it can seriously interfere with
you vision. Another change is called Cataracts it
means when the lens of your eye becomes
cloudy.
