This document summarizes the results of a survey about presentation skills and habits. Some key findings include:
- The majority of respondents rated themselves as above average in presentation skills compared to peers.
- PowerPoint 2007 was the most commonly used presentation software in 2010 but fell to 36% in 2011.
- Nearly half of respondents view over 25 presentations per year but only 18% deliver that many.
- The top factors for poor presentations were identified as too much text, presenters reading slides, lack of understanding the audience's needs, and lack of preparation.
Social mediareport netherlands_insites_iab_nlIAB Netherlands
The Dutch IAB country specific research report of the global social media study of Insites. Results cover 35 countries. More than 9000 people participated. In this report the country specific data for the Netherlands compared to Europe and other countries.
The 2012 research What Works Where in B2B Digital Marketing brings together the views of nearly 100 senior B2B marketers and compares what they think works with the view of the people they are targeting –224 buyers in business and professional services, financial services, engineering and manufacturing and technology and telecoms.
Whilst overall there are many indications that marketers are getting it right, some surprising results have emerged in terms of what really makes the difference between success and failure. In particular the divide between buyer and marketer on social and mobile is wider than we might have thought.

“Durante los próximos años, los avances más innovadores en el campo de la movilidad no tendrán casi nada que ver con el dispositivo, sino con las aplicaciones que proporcionará. Y las organizaciones –y sus departamentos de comunicación- deberán hacer lo mismo que los individuos están haciendo al integrar el móvil en cada parcela de sus vidas”, ha declarado Alfonso González Herrero, coordinador en España de la Asociación Española de Directores de Comunicación, EACD, durante la presentación del ECM 2014
Value and Engagement in the Era of Social Entertainment and Second ScreensEdelman
For the sixth year running, the Value & Engagement in the Era of Social Entertainment and Second Screens Survey explores consumer attitudes towards the entertainment industry in the UK and U.S. It examines consumer perceptions and behaviors as they relate to consumption habits, purchase recommendations, file downloading and sharing.
This is the full results deck for the 2012 Flash Games Market Survey, conducted by Mochi Media and our survey partners Adobe and FGL.com.
Now in our 4th year, Mochi Media conducts this annual survey to "take the pulse" of the Flash games industry.
Due to lowered barriers and improvements in technology, we are seeing an evolution of the Flash games industry, where old labels of "Flash game developer" and "mobile game developer" are being replaced with simply "game developer".
TV INDUSTRY REPORT gives the overall picture of advertising on TV during the period Jan to Dec’12. It covers top advertisers, categories and brands and their % share in total advertising in terms of minutes. The report also focuses on share of TV channels, share of each genre and ad-spend split over the time slots. The report also compares % advertising in minutes done by various advertisers in 2012 vs. their share in 2011.
