  1. Before we start let me explain what Blippar is to you. We are a tech company specializing on AR & CV and we are building the first AR browser and aim is to give you more from the world you see. You’re used to browsers to surf the digital world. The world is bigger than the WWW. Bridging physical and digital world.
  2. AR is a buzzword at the moment, some of the largest companies are investing in it etc etc but what is AR exactly and what is the difference with other terms you often here. In simple words AR overlays digital content onto the real world. It bridges the physical and digital worlds.
  3. Last important before we go into examples The true scale and power of AR is tied to computer vision - the way computer see the world Very simply, to augment reality you have to understand it. Examples: Blippar Auto Recognition, Snapchat Face Filters, Google Translate
  4. Computer vision is the field of artificial intelligence focused on understanding sight. As humans, we use our eyes to visualize the world around us. We process this information and use it to navigate our environments. Computer vision gives this ability to computers. It enables computers to analyze images and identify what they are looking at.
  5. Evolution of mobile computing and this takes us to CV. Touch, talking…are being mimiced by computers. Now it’s about sight. First we were taught to type, then we touched, then we heard and saw, then we engaged...advanced cloud computing. So now to the impact of CV. AI, with the problems of the world, with our insufficiency of resources, can play a big role in being a catalyst for good. Not just the next frontier tech, already impacting the future. How? Marketing, Healthcare, Education, Entertainment. Ill discuss some of the key elements there.
