- 9. Hotel Staff TheHousekeeper Her job is to prepare the hotel rooms for the arrival of the guests. Her job is to keep the room clean and the guests happy while they stay at the hotel. She changes the bed, bedclothes. She sweeps, cleans the floor. She cleans the bathroom.

When the food is prepared they take the food from the kitchen to the guests at their table. While the guests are eating, they should quietly ask if everything is alright. At the end of the meal they take the check (USA) or bill (UK) to the guests. They take the money or credit card to the cashier and return with the change or receipt.

(Ale, lager or stout) They take orders for wine. (Red, white or sparkling) They take orders for liquor or spirits. (whisky, vodka, gin, tequila, rum) They make mixed drinks or cocktails. (mixes of spirits, liqueurs, wines, soft drinks and fruit juices)

She gives change for money or cash. She gives a receipt for money, cash, or credit card. She will also accept a cash card/ money card/ bank card/ debit card.
