2. SHOT 1:
This is the establ ishing shot as the main character Angel has ar r ived. I t is an
ext reme long shot that gives the audience the set t ing of the nar rat ive and
shows you the scener y behind him. The view of the area is ver y peaceful and
the st reets seem ver y deser ted and the scene has been f i lmed in the
dayt ime.
3. SHOT 2:
This is the second shot and it transitions from shot 1 to shot 2 using a
wipe jump cut and then there is a close up of the character which is a
long shot that shows you the landscape but also gives the audience
more and that of course is the character which is on the horse.
4. SHOT 3:
This is the third shot of the same scene and it has transitioned, using
the same cut as before, into a mid shot because it contains the
characters shot from waist above and us as viewers can see a close
interaction
5. SHOT 4:
This image is a long shot and it shows you very well the power of the character Angel,
because the school children are looking up at the character Angel it shows us that he is
superior to them and that his level of importance is much more, he is also one a horse too
which gives us the clarity that he is in power, the school children look very inferior at this
moment because they don’t have much of a high status and the levels show us who is
important right now. The scene transition was quite smooth however but still very affective
as it shows us the eye level of the character.
6. SHOT 5:
This is shot number 5 and the transition is a
straight cut to a low angle to show his high point of
view which he is on the horse, the school children
see him as being superior because of the height
level he is on.
7. SHOT 6:
This scene shows us again the importance of the character angel as he is on a height, the fact that he is on a horse
as well shows us that he is important because horses are generally associated with people who are important as
well as wealthy and have high standards.
The fact that the children are looking at angel is complete shocks shows us as an audience that they are shocked
by his presence and the fact that he is there.
8. SHOT 7:
This scene change on shot 7 was quick transition
and it was a wipe across affect, the quick change
shows us that there is something that is going to
go and on it gives us a hint that there is going to
be a lot of movement.
9. SHOT 8:
This shot changed from shot 7 to a quick wipe effect that
showed us the reactions of the students and how they are
feeling about the presence of the character angel.
10. SHOT 9:
This transition was very fast on this shot as the movement was all very
quick as he is giving the student the bag with the cans in and he wants
them to use them as soon as possible so because he threw it very quickly
shows us that the movement after will also be very fast. It was a fast wipe
in affect that progresses really quickly as it gets even faster after this shot.
11. SHOT 10:
This shot was a very quick paced shot and the movement was very fast as it
contained fast wipe across transitions. The way the children open the bag was also
very much zoomed in by the camera to gives us a viewers a clear insight to what
they are seeing and what is in the bag, it works well because it compliments what is
going to go on in the next few scenes and shots.
