data centers, it is the company that performs all the
design, development and maintenance of the systems
used for business e-commerce.
Technology infrastructures reside at third party
datacenter but the design, development, implementation
and management are carried out by the company or by its
consultants. The e-commerce platform can be designed in
person or acquired / provided by third parties.
The Hosted Platform solution is the new frontier of e-
commerce. Software and infrastructure are offered as a
service by a specialist company. This is the technological
solution that we have developed and we intend to offer to
the national and international market.
In Europe there are NO Hosted eCommerce Platforms. Our platform will be
the first to offer this type of solution and service in the European market.

How much is the e-Commerce Market in terms of technological solutions
According to Forrester Research, the market for replacing old Self hosted e-commerce solutions to
Hosted Platforms is now worth about 6.4 Billion Dollars in the US and by 2019 it will be about 9.7
Billion Dollars, only as replacement software and excluding various software applications.
In Europe this market is in the "birthing process" with high development
trends. The European market could be worth around 3 billion euros.
Some US operators are entering the European market, but for now this
activity is marginal: US market is very big and conveniently at hand. Moreover
choosing to use almost exclusively MySQLbased solutions for e-commerce
applications affects call quality solutions: too expensive to maintain and
upgrade the platforms. MySQL has some serious limitations in managing large
data base for e-commerce application. Over 95% of the industry uses this
solution. Solutions made in the US were born before the development of new
generation databases. Our platform has chosen to develop the software using
this new generation of databases. We use document databases better known
as NoSQL (Not Only SQL) with significant advantages: low maintenance and
upgrade costs and better performances.

The Business Sector Database is the heart of the platform and determines the users
ability to create any network they want.
Each Business Sector contains processes, machines, plants, equipment, products and
services for each of the business sector so far considered. Each Business Sector
requires on average 4 weeks of work, it must be prepared in at least two languages
(Italian and English) and arranged to be translated by a special tool that allows
translation in every language.
At present, more than 600 different attributes - able to identify any product - can be
associated with more than 23000 product categories (eBay has classified 20820
different types of Uncategorized products).
The idea of the platform was born in 2005 after developing a procurement platform
specialized in ICT for the TLC market. Gdoox has 10 years of incubation, analysis and
prototyping attempts that have allowed us to acquire expertise that now have
resulted in the current platform under construction.
After several attempts and having found many difficulties in getting the necessary
specialists, we decided to turn to the foreign market. We identified a company in
India that possesses the specializations required for producing an Omni Device
application using NoSQL databases. The team consists of 5 people. The less qualified
component of this team has an MBA in computer science.
