This presentation explains in detail about the process of getting accredited by International Accreditation Organization. It also explains about IAO's point profile system and about evaluation commission members as well.
IAO provides international accreditation to schools to ensure they meet international quality standards. IAO's accreditation process involves schools submitting an application providing details about the school. IAO then evaluates the school based on a unique Points Profile System which assigns points across categories such as organizational management, academic management, and institutional performance. The points are calculated to determine an overall score. IAO may also conduct a site visit before deciding whether to grant the school candidacy status, which makes the school eligible for full accreditation and its associated benefits.
IAO provides international accreditation to institutions through a unique Points Profile System. The system evaluates institutions across organizational management, academic management, and institutional performance based on internationally recognized standards. IAO's accreditation process involves institutions filling out an application, submitting documents for verification, undergoing an on-site evaluation visit, and working to continuously improve their standards based on IAO's recommendations to achieve full accreditation. This helps benchmark institutions globally and ensure quality education.

Maintaining the CDCS requires ongoing professional development every three years to stay up to date with industry changes.
Micro-credentialing Workshop: A view from the Australian higher education sectorCharles Darwin University
The Australian sector is now starting to see a few good examples of micro-credentialing in action. When done well this is a really complex thing and not something that should be undertaken lightly, or to be seen as a quick win by institutions. There are issues of alignment, design, validity, portability, transparency, authenticity and many more that need to be considered in developing an institutional approach to this. This involves many systems working/talking together across the institution (not the least of which is the LMS), and potentially the introduction of newer/contemporary ways of thinking about learning and teaching.
This workshop will initially summarise some of the current practice being seen in the sector and share some emerging models. Not only will participants develop a greater awareness of the current trends, but more importantly, they will develop for themselves, and potentially for their institution, a suite of models/options that could be applied in their own unique context.

The document discusses microcredentials and the European Microcredentials Consortium (EMC). The EMC was founded to increase awareness and use of digital education. It aims to make microcredentials a widely considered option for employers and workers through increasing their credibility and building complementary course offerings. The document also notes the rise of alternative digital credentials and reasons for their growth, including that traditional transcripts do not serve the workforce and skills-based hiring is increasing. It proposes a common microcredential framework to standardize credentials and addresses next steps such as launching first microcredentials later in 2019.
The document provides an overview of the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) program. Author - Raimund Hudak,Head of Research & Labs of Duale Hochschule Baden Württemberg (DHBW), Germany.Digital technologies offer myriad access to learning. As new technologies and traditional education paradigms have collided, credentialing paradigms have also needed review. Traditionally, academic credentials and professional certifications were awarded as students emerged from education and vocational/technical programs. By 2015, global higher education institutions were considering validation of knowledge from online learning coursework in one single common, broad-based credentialing platform, and signed the Groningen Declaration to help forward this agenda.
Accreditation for online learning or Massive Open Online Coursework provides challenges for universities to accept and acknowledge learning as credited coursework; awarding credit for different types of educational coursework disrupts higher education’s traditional, formal educational processes for financial and educational accountability.
This document outlines the various routes to obtaining the MCIPS designation through CIPS. There are three main routes: academic, applied learning, and experience.

This chapter introduces quality assurance in tertiary education. It discusses that institutions are accountable to stakeholders to ensure students receive a quality education comparable to international standards. Quality assurance helps institutions monitor their activities and objectives through effective structures and systems. It can be internal, conducted by the institution itself, or external, conducted by an outside body like the Tertiary Education Commission. Quality assurance focuses on both improvement and accountability. While it requires resources, it also increases quality consciousness and drives continuous improvement. The chapter traces how stakeholder involvement has expanded over time to include students, employers, and external experts in curriculum design and decision making.

Faculty accreditation in higher education is important to recognize excellence beyond degrees. The author proposes a model for accrediting management faculty across countries to establish them as certified teachers. There is currently only one organization in India that accredits management faculty. The model would emphasize faculty accreditation at a larger level with reputable councils evaluating faculty based on academic contribution, intellectual contribution, professional development and more. Faculty accreditation would benefit students, faculty, management schools and the public by ensuring accountability and quality of education.

Accreditation is a formal, independent verification that conveys to all stakeholders that an institution or program has met the established academic standards set by an esteemed accreditation body.
The document proposes a 5 pillar structure for a licensing, accreditation and quality assurance framework for further and higher education in Malta. The 5 pillars include institution licensing, institution accreditation, program accreditation, quality audits, and accreditation agencies. Institution licensing would involve different categories and quality standards. Institution accreditation would distinguish between self-accrediting and non-self accrediting status. Program accreditation would cover further/higher, foreign, and professional programs. Quality audits and an accreditation agency body are also recommended.

In an education system, it is understood that assessment is only for the students, but on the other hand, the Assessment of teachers is also an important aspect of the education system that ensures teachers are providing high-quality instruction to students. The assessment process can be used to provide feedback and support for professional development, to inform decisions about teacher retention or promotion, or to evaluate teacher effectiveness for accountability purposes.

A Strategic Approach: GenAI in EducationPeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.
