Radio was invented by Sir
Bose's invention was published in the Proceedings of the
Royal Society, London, on April 27, 1899. Over two
years later Marconi published his first wireless
communication on December 12, 1901, from
Newfoundland, now in Canada.
Marconi’s childhood friend Luigi Solari stole the diary
and transmitter of Bose in 1899 and gave Marconi a
modified version of the transmitter.
Marconi used the Radio Set and the diary of Dr. Jagdish
Chandra Bose.
IEEE has condemned this as one of the worst thefts by a
scientist in its Jan 1998 issue.
Never believe such Italians.
Misnomers- Marconi did not invent Radios!

"India was the motherland of our race,
and Sanskrit the mother of Europe's
languages;
she was the mother of our
philosophy;
mother, through the Arabs, of much of our
mathematics;
mother, through the Buddha, of the ideals
embodied in Christianity; mother, through the

democracy.

“IIT = Harvard + MIT + Princeton”
“IIT = Harvard + MIT + Princeton” , says CBS ‘60 Minutes’.
CBS' highly-regarded ‘60 Minutes’, the most widely watched news programme in the US,
told its audience of more than 10 Million viewers that “IIT may be the most important
university you've never heard of."
"The United States imports oil from Saudi Arabia, cars from Japan, TVs from Korea and
Whiskey from Scotland. So what do we import from India? We import people, really smart
people," co-host Leslie Stahl began while introducing the segment on IIT.
“…the smartest, the most successful, most influential Indians who've
migrated to the US seem to share a common credential:
They are graduates of the IIT.”
“…in science and technology, IIT undergraduates leave their
American counterparts in the dust.“
“Think about that for a minute: A kid from India using an Ivy
League university as a safety school. That's how smart these guys
are.”
There are “cases where students who couldn't get into computer
science at IIT, they have gotten scholarships at MIT, at
Princeton, at Caltech.”

Under the chairmanship of Indian space pioneer
Dr. Vikram Sarabhai, the Indian National Committee for
Space Research (INCOSPAR) was formed in 1962 dreamt
that India should be second to none in the application of
advanced technologies like space to solve the real
problems of man and society.
In 1972, the Indian space program was formally organized
with the setting up of Space Commission and the
Department of Space.

objective of this satellite was to study astronomy sources
and relations between the earth and the sun (ionosphere
study). The satellite was launched on 19 May 1975 aboard
