Abstract
Writing is generally perceived as a daunting task in language learning for primary school children. To improve engagement and activate the writing process, the present study implemented and evaluated the effectiveness of an innovative writing instruction strategy that combines two commonly used collaborative learning practices—collaborative writing and peer assessment—on a mobile learning platform, also described as Mobile-Assisted Collaborative Learning Pedagogy (MACLP). In this quasi-experimental study, two classes of 3rd graders (N=73) received sessions about Chinese story writing varied in two kinds of instructional designs: collaborative writing and peer assessment using tablets vs. traditional individual and paper-based writing graded by teacher. We compared students’ learning gains after different interventions, and probed students’ perceptions towards MACLP in their writing process, with a special focus on whether students with high, average and low prior Chinese language abilities benefit equally from MACLP. The positive results imply that the perceived challenge of pupils’ individual differences in linguistic competence could turn into an advantage through such peer collaboration and assessment activities.

Objective(s):
In recent years, the biosynthesis of gold nanoparticles has been the focus of interest because of their emerging application in a number of areas such as biomedicine. In the present study we report the extracellular biosynthesis of gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) by using a positive bacterium named Streptomyces fulvissimus isolate U from rice fields of Guilan Province, Iran.
Materials and Methods:
From over 20 Streptomyces isolates collected, isolate U showed high AuNPs biosynthesis activity. To determine its taxonomical identity, its morphology was characterized by scanning electron microscope and partial molecular analysis performed by PCR. In this regard, 16S rDNA of isolate U was amplified using universal bacterial primers FD1 and RP2. The PCR products were purified and sequenced. Sequence analysis of 16S rDNA was then conducted using NCBI BLAST method. In biosynthesis of AuNPs by this bacterium, the biomass of bacterium exposed to the HAuCl4 solution.
Results:
The nanoparticles obtained were characterized by UV-Visible spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and Energy dispersive X-ray (EDX) spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction spectroscopy (XRD) analyses. Our results indicated that Streptomyces fulvissimus isolateU bio-synthesizes extracellular AuNPs in the range of 20-50 nm.
Conclusions:
This technique of green synthesis of AuNPs by a microbial source may become a promising method because of its environmental safety. Its optimization may make it a potential procedure for industrial production of gold nanoparticles.

Abstract: Schools are designed generally focusing the classroom, guided by the idea “learning occurs only in classroom”. Usually the outdoor environment is ignored during the design process of school in the context of Bangladesh. However, research shows that students learn better while the lesson incorporates the outdoor environment (Lieberman and Hoody 1998). Learning in natural environment helps in improving children's cognitive competency, their social, moral and physical development (Huq, M N and Janan, M. 1999). In many cases, especially in Dhaka city, residences are converted into schools without any concern of the necessity of outdoor spaces. Schools in the rural areas of Bangladesh usually have outdoor areas for children to roam around and play. But in most cases large open spaces dedicated to physical activities does not have a proportional number of users and intensity of use in relation to the distribution of children (Malone, K and Tranter, P. 2003). L iterature shows that children are fond of –places with sufficient variety in the environment, and with natural elements such as grass, trees, gardens and parks (Andel V J, 1990.& Broda H.W., 2007) . Children benefit from interaction with ature in all aspects of their development: physical, mental, moral, and emotional ( Tai, L et al, 2006). Quality-Based Curriculum Implementation Programme by the NCTB aims at making the students' learning processes easy, delightful and attractive through the practice of multiple activities in the classrooms, but the classrooms in the primary schools are not designed for holding these multiple activities. A study of eleven Florida high schools specifi cally focused on the effects of environment-based education on students' achievement reveals that students in the classrooms that used the environment as an integrating context (EIC) groups had significantly higher achievement motivation (Place-Based Education Evaluation Collaborative, 2006).There are theoretical standards, theories and emerging concepts concerning the learning of children in classrooms but very few researches are carried on the outdoor learning spaces in the context of developing nations. With this background this thesis aims to explore the role of outdoor environment of school in students' learning. The outdoor environment of one school will be intervened to investigate how the intervention impacts students' learning process.

セル生産方式におけるロボットの活用には様々な問題があるが,その一つとして 3 体以上の物体の組み立てが挙げられる.一般に,複数物体を同時に組み立てる際は,対象の部品をそれぞれロボットアームまたは治具でそれぞれ独立に保持することで組み立てを遂行すると考えられる.ただし,この方法ではロボットアームや治具を部品数と同じ数だけ必要とし,部品数が多いほどコスト面や設置スペースの関係で無駄が多くなる.この課題に対して音𣷓らは組み立て対象物に働く接触力等の解析により,治具等で固定されていない対象物が組み立て作業中に運動しにくい状態となる条件を求めた.すなわち,環境中の非把持対象物のロバスト性を考慮して,組み立て作業条件を検討している.本研究ではこの方策に基づいて,複数物体の組み立て作業を単腕マニピュレータで実行することを目的とする.このとき,対象物のロバスト性を考慮することで,仮組状態の複数物体を同時に扱う手法を提案する.作業対象としてパイプジョイントの組み立てを挙げ,簡易な道具を用いることで単腕マニピュレータで複数物体を同時に把持できることを示す.さらに,作業成功率の向上のために RGB-D カメラを用いた物体の位置検出に基づくロボット制御及び動作計画を実装する.
This paper discusses assembly operations using a single manipulator and a parallel gripper to simultaneously
grasp multiple objects and hold the group of temporarily assembled objects. Multiple robots and jigs generally operate
assembly tasks by constraining the target objects mechanically or geometrically to prevent them from moving. It is
necessary to analyze the physical interaction between the objects for such constraints to achieve the tasks with a single
gripper. In this paper, we focus on assembling pipe joints as an example and discuss constraining the motion of the
objects. Our demonstration shows that a simple tool can facilitate holding multiple objects with a single gripper.
