College-Eligible?
College-Ready?
• “College Eligible”- The U.S. educational
system is unique on its focus to enable students
to meet admissions requirements of colleges
• “College Ready”- Students are able to meet
the expectations required in entry-level college
courses
What are a few of these expectations?

You have a mission.
First, please divide into small
groups of 3 to 4.
As a group decide:
1. How you would define the
concept on the card.
2. How you would measure the
concept/component?
Create a Poster
• You will have 7-10 minutes in your group
• Include your own DEFINITION and how
would MEASURE success.
TIME IS UP!
Please hang your poster up on
the wall in no particular order.

• Be firm with attendance (class passes help)
• Sign up to meet with coach prior to end of program
• None of the VABC students attended the SI portion of
their math courses (if available)
• Only 60 (35%) used any of TASC’s services after
