This document provides an introduction to a module on Human-Computer Interaction for Digital Civics. 21. Close Reading in groups (45 minutes)
read your section of the paper (slowly)
highlight ‘key’ parts and annotate the text
what is the most important idea in each paragraph?
how do the authors explain their ideas?
How do the authors connect to the work of others?
Can you relate ideas to something else you already understand,
or can these ideas influence your thinking?

us what other paper you have identified.
