to host competitions. 
Instagram, brands with cult following on Instagram, local agents etc tend to 
target Instagram for Contests.
How It Is Done 
The concept is very simple, hashtags are used with relevant keywords for any 
competition. 
There are simple rules to follow: 
 Answer brand specific quiz. 
 Post your photos with relevant props. 
 Come up with witty tweets. 
 Retweet and invite friends etc. 
The winners are given various prizes.

 Builds awareness 
 Increases subscribers 
 Incentivizes followers 
 Increases engagement 
 Improves brand image
Cons Of Contests 
 May attract non relevant followers. 
 Same people may try engaging with the brand from different profiles.

methods or prizes may garner a lot of negative publicity.
