of a computer.
There are 4 type of input : text, graphic, audio and video.
Input devices are any hardware component that allows
users to enter data, programs, commands and responses
into a computer.

A scanner is an example of input device for graphical as
well as text input.
A microphone is an example of input device for audio
input.
A webcam is an example of input device for video input.

Output is the result of data processing activity when it is
presented external to the system.
The output from a computer can be in a form for use by
people, for example : printed or displayed.
There are 4 type of output : text-based, graphic-based,
audio-based, video-based.

or showing information to one or more users.
An output device shows, prints and present the results of a
computer’s work.
Examples of output device are monitor, speaker and
printer.
