• Hanging basket refers to practice of growing plants in baskets & containers of beautiful design and suspending them with wire frames. • Dwarf plant or plant with intermediate growth habit are used • It is necessary to prevent soil in basket drying rapidly. So, moss, gunny bag, cocoon fiber is used. • Regular watering and feeding plants with liquid manure is important to sustain growth of plant for long period • Suitable plants are: asparagus, orchids
