Who took part in the business project?
• 15 pupils from the 4th grade (age 9-10) and 10
pupils from the 5th grade (age 11-12) who chose
to create handmade Easter cards and spring
arrangements(decorations).
• We decided what we needed to buy before we
got started - the startup costs. Each pupil
contributed with a share of the cost.
• Materials required: coloured paper, crayons,
Easter/spring themed stickers,styrofoam
boards,scissors, glue, glitter pencils.
Getting started
The objectives of the business project were:
• to get pupils acquainted with a business
plan
• to help pupils estimate the costs of a
business
• to motivate pupils to promote the products

• The pupils decided they could promote
their products by:
• creating a facebook page
• organizing a display in the school halls
• The Easter cards and the spring
decorations were offered to an old
people’s home in Siria during an
organized visit.
