been used to create specific soundtrack elements
Setting
Soft and light sounds give an epic feel to the track. Multi vocals also establish a
hero/saviour feel like a gospel choir in a church. Voice at the beginning gives a
mythical atmosphere and combined with the audio, the track works very well.
The light, soft sounds I believe are made with
string instruments and piano. The multi vocals
would be made with a live action choir.
Mood
Uplifting and gives the impression of something hidden. The track is easy to digest
so gives the listener is relaxed mood.
The mixture of string and piano sounds so positive
and mysterious, give the listener a lever of
intrigue. The track is not complicated with multi
tracks or loud music, it’s all kept simple.
Game genre
Is hard to determine from the sound what genre the game is but from the track it’s a
very light sound with choir gospels. The light sounds give a feeling of floating or in
other cases in space. It also finishes with a drum beats that are like war drums. My
conclusion would be an action/adventure game.
The sounds it creates are consistent with sound
from other action/adventure games. They also
use the instruments hat create the genre to give
the impression of weightlessness which I feel is
very clever.
Narrative
The beginning narrative is mystical and the character talking as if they are talking to
someone. The narrative is distant and echoing.
The voice has echo and fades away at the end,
these are all tool which can be manipulated
through an audio program.
