Imenco has agreed to develop and produce an aviation fueling system for Kongsberg Defence and Aerospace's new Naval Strike Missile. The system will fill the missiles with a synthetic fuel that remains stable without degradation when stored for long periods, if kept free of contamination. It is crucial that the correct amount of fuel is loaded into each missile. The self-controlled filling system will perform daily automated test runs and quality reports. The system consists of transfer, filtration, quality testing sensors, a missile manipulator, and an advanced computer control system.

Imenco have made an agreement with Kongsberg Defence and Aerospace (KDA) in
order to develop and produce a fuel filling system for KDA’s new Naval Strike Missile.
The synthetic fuel which will be utilized in these missiles, is a non commercial
product. It is very stabile and can be stored for long periods in the missile without
degeneration, provided the fuel is not contaminated with water, air or gas.

PUMP UNIT
The pump unit can be placed in a separate cabinet or mounted on the
base frame. The unit is the main feature for transferring fuel in the
system, and it is equipped with two stand alone high quality positive
displacement pumps.
The pumps can be operated by air or electrical motors.
Antistatic and fire safe ball valves and non return check valves are used.
The Pump Unit includes:
• 2 ea pumps
• Y-strainer
• Non return check valves
• Electrical or air motors
• Filter water separator (optional)
JET FUEL TANKS - Storage or Transportable Tank
