This document provides instructions for installing a patch that allows GV-System V8.4.0.0 to connect to new GV-IP camera devices. The patch files need to be downloaded based on the language of the operating system and then specific files need to be copied to the GV-System folder and Windows folder following the steps outlined. How to Install Patch Files
To connect to the new GV-IP devices listed above on GV-System V8.4.0.0, patch files are required.
Follow the steps below to install patch files.
1. Download the patch files from the download links listed below according to the language of your
operating system.
2. Unzip the downloaded file and you will see two folders: For GV-Series and For Windows.
3. Copy the content of the For GV-Series folder and paste them in the GV-System folder.
4. Copy the content of the For Windows folder and paste them in C:WINDOWS.
5. If a message pops up to inform you a file with the same name already exists in the folder, click
Yes to replace the existing file.
